GENERAL
1. Read all instructionsbefore using this appliance.
2. This applianceis hot whenin use.Toavoid burns,do
not let bare skin touchhot surfaces. Keep
combustible materials, suchas furniture,pillows,
bedding, papers, clothes, and curtainsat least 3
feet(1m.) from the front of this appliance.
3. CAUTION: Extremecautionis
necessarywhen anyheateris used
by ornear childrenor invalidsand
whenevertheheater isleftOperating
andunattended.
4. Always unplug heaterwhen notin
use.
5. Do notoperate anyheaterwitha
damaged cordorplugor after the
heatermalfunctions, has been
dropped or damagedin any manner.
6. Any repairs to this applianceshouldbe carried out by
aqualified service person.
7. Under no circumstances should thiselectric fireplace
bemodified. Partshaving to be removedfor
servicingmust be replacedprior tooperating this
electricfireplace again.
8. Do not useoutdoors.
9. This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms,
laundryareas or similar indoor locations. Never use
this appliancenearabathtuborother water
container.
10. Donot run cordundercarpeting.Do not cover cord
with throw rugs,runners or thelike. Arrange cord
away from traffic areas and where it willnot be
tripped over.
11. Todisconnect this appliance,turn controls to the off
position and removeplug fromoutlet.
12. Connect toproperly groundedoutletsonly.
13. Donot insert orallow foreignobjectsto enter any
ventilation or exhaustopeningasthis may cause
electric shock, fire or damage to theappliance.
14. Toprevent fire,do not block airintakes orexhaust
in any manner.Do not use onsoftsurfaces, such
as a bed, where openingsmay become blocked.
15. This appliancehas hot andarcingor sparking
parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline,
paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored. This
electric fireplaceshould not beused asadrying
rack forclothing, Also, do nothave Christmas
stockings or decorations hung on or near it.
16. Use this applianceonly asdescribedinthis
manual. All other uses not recommendedby the
manufacturer maycause fire, electric shock, or
injury.
17. Avoid the use of an extension cord becauseit may
overheatand cause afire hazard. However if you
must usean extension cord, thecord shallbe
1.0mm2,1900Watts.Theextension cordmust be
athree wirecord with grounding type plugand
cord connector.

LOCATING YOUR ELECTRIC
FIREPLACE
Your newfreestandingelectric fireplace may be
installed virtually anywhere in your home.
However whenchoosing a location for your
new electric fireplace, ensure that the general
instructions arefollowed. Forbest effect results, install
the electric fireplace out of direct sunlight.

ELECTRICALCONNECTION
A10 AMP,220Volt,50Hzcircuit with aproperly grounded
outlet is required. Preferably,thestove will beona
dedicatedcircuit. Other appliances onthesamecircuit
may cause thecircuitbreakerto trip or the fuseto blow
when the heater is onoperation.The unit comes standard
with a6 (1828mm) long threewirecord exiting fromthe
rear of the fireplace. Plantheinstallationtoavoid the use
of anextension cord. If an extension cordmust be used, it
must beaminimum1.0mm2three wire with grounding
type plugconnector and rated no lessthan 1900 Watts.

REPLACING LIGHT BULBS
This fireplace uses two clear220Volt, 60 Watt, E-14socket
base light bulbs (small base, chandeliercandletype).The 60
Watt bulbs arelocatedunder thelog set/ember bed. For
convenience, if one of the bulbs burnsout, it may be agood
idea to replace both of the light bulbs.
1. Turn offpower to the unit by unplugging thepower
cord.
2. Let fireplace cool if it has been operating.
3. Removethe two fixingself-tappingscrewsonthe
screen. Pull thescreenupwardalittle bit, and then
out.
4. Removethe twoscrews that secure the logset in
position.
5. Examinethe bulbs to determinewhich bulbs need to
be replaced.
6. While holding the socket, unscrewthedefective
bulb(s).
WARNING: Donotexceed60
Watts per bulb. Use ofhigher
ratedbulbsmayresult in afire
causingproperty damage and
personal injury.

7.Install the new light bulb(s) by holding the socket
and screwing them.
8.Reinstall the logset and screen. Follow the
aboveprocedure in reverse order.
9.
The diameter ofthepilot light bulb is 5mm. If the
pilot light bulb needto be replaced, follow steps
1,2,3,4 above. Thenuse the pilotlight bulb
socket w/wiringassembly replace the primary
pilot part, andconnect wires accordingto
primaryconnection . Then follow step 8above.
WARNIGN: Donotusethis fireplace
ifanypart ofithasbeen underwater.
Immediately callaqualifiedservice
technician toinspectthefireplace
andreplaceanypart oftheelectrical
systemifnecessary.

GLASS INFORMATION
1.Under nocircumstancesshouldthisproductbe
operated withmissingorbrokenglass.
2. Do not strikeor slam the glass.
3. Do notuse abrasive cleanersto clean the glass.
4. Replacement glass is available fromthe
manufacturerandreplacement shouldbecarried
out by aqualifiedserviceperson.
MAINTENANCE OFMOTORS
Themotors usedonthe fanand flame generator
assembly are prelubricatedfor extendedbearing
lifeandrequire nofurtherlubrication. However,
periodic cleaning/vacuuming ofthe fan/heater
Unit is recommended.
WARNING: Make sure that the
power is turned off before
proceeding.
Any electricalrepairs or rewiringof this unitshouldbecarriedout by alicensedelectrician inaccordance
withnational andlocalcodes.
If repairing or replacingany electrical component or wiring, theoriginal wire
routing, color coding andsecuringlocationmust be followed.

This sectionprovideseasystep bystep instructions foroperatingyour fireplace.
1. Make suretheunit is unpluggedfrom the power source。
2. Plug the fireplaceinto a10AMP/220V outlet. If thecord does not reach, youmayuse an extension
cord ratedfora minimum of 1900 watts.
Toaccessthe controls, openthebottom of thefireplaceat the front of theunit (seeFigure A).
A. MAIN ON/OFF SWITCH
The on/off switch supplies power toall fireplace functions (heater/flame).
B. HEATER THERMOSTAT CONTROL
Toadjust thetemperature to yourneeds, turnthe thermostatcontrolcompletely clockwise to
turn on the heater.Whentheroom reachesthe desired temperature, turn the thermostatknob
counter clockwiseuntil you hear aclick. Leaveit in this position to maintain theroom
temperature atthissetting. For additional heat, turn clockwise until you hear theclick again and
the heaterwill turn on. Toturn the heater off, switchthe HEATER ON/OFFSWITCHtothe OFF
position.
C. HEATER ON/OFF SWITCH
The HEATER ON/OFFSWITCH supplies power tothe heater fanandthe heaterelement.
NOTE: WhenswitchedON, theheater fanwill operate. The heater elementmay or may not be
on, depending on the thermostat control setting (see “HEATER THERMOSTATCONTROL”).
WhentheHEATER/FAN pilot light is lighting, it indicate that theheater is on.
Warning: Duringany serviceofthis appliance, the power to the unit must beturnedoff. It
is notacceptableto usethe “ON/OFF”switchtomeetthisrequirement. (Refer to
operatinginstruction section)
D. INSTRUCTIONS FORPOWER
This heaterisfor useon220voltsonly.Thegreen/yellow grounding lugextendingfromthe
adapter mustbeconnectedto apermanent ground such asaproperly groundedoutlet box. The
adapter should not be used if a three-slot groundedreceptacle isavailable.

PRO-COM (Hereinafter referred tocollectively asthe “company”)warrantsthatyour newfireplaceis
freefrom manufacturing andmaterial defectsforaperiodofoneyearfromthe date of installation,
subject tothefollowing conditions and limitations:
1. ThisnewPRO-COM product must be installedby acompetent, authorized service contractor.The installationmust be in
accordance with installationandoperating instructions furnishedwithproduct. Any alteration, willful abuse, accident, or
misuseof theproduct shall nullifythis warranty.
2. Thiswarranty is non-transferrable. It ismadeto theoriginalowner provided that thepurchase wasmade through an
authorized supplier of the company.
3. Thiswarranty is limited to the repairor replacementof part(s) found to be defectivein material orworkmanship,provided
that such part(s) have been subjected tonormal conditions ofuse and service. After thatit is said to be defective, if
confirmed by the Company s inspection.
4. This warrantydoes not cover the light bulb(s)included withthePRO-COM.
5. TheCompanymay,at itsdiscretion, fullydischarge all obligations withrespect to this warrantyby refunding the wholesale
priceof the defective part(s).
6. Anyinstallation, labor,construction, transportation, or any other related costs/expensesarisingfrom the defectivepart(s),
repair,replacement, orotherwise ofsame, willnot be covered bythiswarranty.The Companywill not be responsible for
any incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, except as provided by law.
7. All other warranties, expressed or implied, with respect to thisproduct, itscomponentsand accessories,or any
obligations/liabilities onthe part of the Companyare hereby expresslyexcluded.
8. TheCompany neitherassumes, nor authorizes, any third party to assume, on its behalf, anyother liabilities withrespect to
the sale of thisPRO-COM product.
9. Thewarranties,as outlined within this document, do not apply to nonPRO-COMaccessories used in conjunctionwith the
installation of this product.
10. This Warrantyis Voidif:
a) The fireplace hasbeen operated in atmospheres contaminatedby chlorine, fluorine or otherdamagingchemicals.
b) The fireplace issubjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.
c) Any alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.
