the airflow around the
unit. Make sure the air
inlet exhaust grilles are not
obstructed. Allow 20 cm of
clearance around the unit.

l The room temperature
l The relative humidity
l Room insulation
Consumption values may vary depending on the relative humidity inthe room of op-
eration.
**30W Consumption during the fan operation.
The fan only operation is a function that cannot be manually selected. It is automatical-
ly selected when the moisture content in the room is lower than that set by the MODE
button.
When Sleep and Low Fan Speed is set, the consumption can reach a maximum of
420W, regard-less of the mode (MODE) that has been selected.
When the High Fan Speed is set, the consumption may reach a maximum of 740W.
The deviation rate of the above values is +/- 5%.
*** Desiccant dehuJmidifiers, operate without the use of a compressor, which is
con-sidered cutting edge Japanese technology for greater efficiency at lower room
temperatures. In-cluding an absorbent Desiccant dehumidifying wheel, that reduces
the room's humidity during its rotation. An electrical resistance heats the Desiccant
element discarding the collected humidity directly inside the water bucket.

When the water tank is full, the alarm will beep and the water full indicator will turn
on.
•Slowly remove the bucket. Grip the handle with caution, and carefully pull outwards so the
water does not overflow. Do not place the tank on the floor because the botton of the tank is
uneven. Doing so the tank will fall and the water will be spilled on the floor.
•Empty the water from the tank and place it again in to the device. The water tank, must be
securely and properly placed, for the dehumidifier to operate.
•When the water tank is re-installed the unit will automatically restart.

The control switch turn the product off, in any case that the water tank is full or it is not
placed in right position.

water or chemicals.
After those 30 minutes, the fan will start to work again
for 5 minutes (meanwhile the digits are showing the ''Fn''
symbol) counting the humidity level of the room. If the
humidity level are increased from the wanted level by 5%
the product will start working again. If not, it stops for
another 30 minutes. This fuction repeats itself.

When the continuous drainage feature is not being used,
remove the drain hose from the drain hose outlet.
2. Continuous draining
Water automatically can be emptied into a floor drain by attaching the unit with a
water hose.
•Remove the water tank and attach the drain hose to a suitable drainage
facility. Make sure the hose is attached securely to avoid any leaks and
place it as deep as possible to ensure the right drainage.
•The dehumidifier should be placed on a flat surface in an upright position.
•Place the end of the hose into the drain and make sure that the water flows
naturally. For correct drainage, make sure the hose stays below the level of the
drain hose outlet.

11. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS & TROUBLE
Does the Zeolite need
replacing?
No there is no need for replacement. The Zeolite is
regenerated within the dehumidifier and this will last
for many years.
Are dehumidifiers
expensive to run?
For the first month upon its initial operation, the
dehumidifier operates at its maximum in order to
calibrate in its working environment. As time passes,
this will gradually reduce, since the dehumidifier will
be controlled via its humidistat. In regards to damp
houses, the use of a dehumidifier may lower your
central billing costs significantly.
Do desiccant
dehumidifiers generate
an unpleasant smell?
During the first days of usage and periodically
afterwards you might notice a smell coming from the
dehumidifier. This is caused by the Zeolite desiccant
material and is not a sign that the dehumidifier is not
working properly nor is it harmful to humans or pets.
The smell occurs because the Zeolite absorbs odors
from items like cigarettes, cosmetics, hair sprays,
building materials and new furniture, and as the
desiccant is heated the smell is discharged into the
room. You can clear it by running the dehumidifier in
a separate space like a garage or - if it is dry – outside.
Where would it be
better to place the
dehumidifier?
For optimal results, it is suggested to place the
dehumidifier in a central area, like a hallway. Leave
the doors open and the moisture will migrate
naturally towards the device to be processed.
Can we replace the
filter with one of other
type like HEPA filter ?
No, the filter can’t be replaced. If it is the
performance will drop at least 20%. You can replace
only the carbon filter when there is problem with
unpleasant smells in the air.
EN

Why there is still
condensation from the
windows, even by using
the dehumidifier?
When the room reaches the preferred humidity
level, there is a possibility of humidity appearance
on windows. This happens due to the temperature
difference of the room’s and external ambient
temperature. Keep running the dehumidifier and
when the air temperature outside increases the
windows should clear of condensation.
The dehumidifier is
not a heating devicefi
What could be the
cause of warm air being
extracted?
The desiccant dehumidifier Rise, operates with an
electrical resistance that warms up the desiccant
material. As a result, the temperature of the outgoing
air has been increased to 10-12°C comparing to the
room’s temperature. This doesn’t denote in any case
that this device can be used as a heating appliance.
The unit does not start
l Make sure the dehumidier’s plug is placed completely into the socket.
l Check the house fuse/circuit breaker box.
l Check whether the power cord is damaged.
l Check the water bucket, if it is full, empty it.
l Check if the dehumidier has reached its preset level.
l Make sure the water bucket is positioned properly.
l Room temperature is lower or higher than the advised operational range.
l Check whether the humidity level has been set in high levels
Dehumidiffier does not dry the air as efficient
l Make sure that the dehumidier has been operating enough time to remove the
moisture.
l Make sure there are no curtains, blinds or furniture blocking the front or back of the
dehumidifier.
l The humidity selector may not be set low enough.
The suggested humidity range fluctuates between
50% and 60%. This level of an average humidity
ensures the greatest comfort for you and your
family, preventing allergies or diseases, and keeps
your home healthy and well maintained, in terms of
plasterboards, dye exfoliation, wood furniture and
any other equipment or material that is susceptible
to the harmful consequences of extremely high
humidity conditions.
Which is the most
suitable humidity
level ?

al shape of the unit you purchased may be slightly dierent, but the operations and

tank
l Check that the drain hose has been correctly placed.
