Installation
50% of all units are installed by non-trained technicians. This makes the commissioning of the unit by the RSP
even more important.
Responsibilities
Designer / Architect
Make sure that during construction all dimensions needed are correct and sucient
(Doors, corridors, clearances etc)
Make sure that all services (energy, water, drain and exhaust air) are available in
immediate vicinity of the unit
Drain
Water (Pressure, Water treatment)
Power supply and breaker specication
Gas connection (type of gas, dimension of supply pipe)
Vent hood (possible interconnection with gas supply)
Exhaust air for gas units (exhaust hood, ventilation ceiling, chimney, spacing between top edge of unit to lower
edge of fat lters / ceiling)
possible need for levelling device for trolley with sloped oor

Make sure the installation complies with the installation manual (part of starter kit) and
the local and / or national legislation / codes
Installed horizontally
Secured to the ground / stand secured from moving
Uneven oor levelled
Connected to cold water, possibly treated water, (water line rinsed)
Connected to power (equipotential bonding included - where required))
Connected to drain (steam temperature resistant pipe, permanent slope, P-trap)
Connected to gas supply (correct type of gas), leakage test up to unit connection point
Installation of accessories (Ultravent)
Testing of electrical and gas safety

Commissioning and hand over to the customer
Conrm installation according to installation manual
Commissioning
Gas unit: Leakage test inside the unit
Gas unit: Flue gas analysis
Successful completion of Self Test
Function test of all components and cooking modes
Demonstration of cleaning mode for customer
Demonstration and instruction of preventive maintenance for customer (daily cleaning, air lter)
