When a programme is selected, the associa-
ted mixing time is shown on display B.
7.2 Displaying Mixing
Parameters
Themixingparametersofthecurrentlyselected
programme can be displayed at any time (refer to
Sec.7.1forinstructionsonhowtoselectapro-
gramme).
Displaying the parameters:
•Pressthedesiredparameterkey(Figure22).
•TheLEDundertheparameterkeygoeson.
•Theparametervaluecontinuestobeshownon

is pressed.
When setting a programme, the LED under
the parameter keys will remain on for approx.
2 seconds if the value for the associated
parameter is not equal to zero.
7.3 Setting / Saving Mixing
Parameters
Onlythemixingparametersofthecurrentlyselected
programme can be changed and saved (refer to
Sec.7.1forinstructionsonhowtoselectapro-
gramme).
1. Changingandpermanentlysavingaselected
parameter:
•Pressthedesiredparameterkey(Figure22).

•Adjustthevaluebyturningthecontrolknob(Fig-
ure23).
•Presstheparameterkeyagain(Figure24)until
theaudibleindicatorsounds(afterapprox.1sec-
ond).Thisindicatesthatthenewvaluehasbeen
permanently saved.
2. Changingandtemporarilysavingaselectedpa-
rameter:
•Ifchangedvaluesarenotpermanentlysavedas
describedinitem1above,theyapplyonlytothe
nextmixingprocess.
•Oncethisprocesshasbeencompleted,thepre-
viously programmed values will again apply.
Any parameters, which are changed during
the mixing process, also only apply to the
current cycle. At the end of this cycle, the
previously programmed values will again
apply.
7.4 Premix Function
TheTwister evolution offers the option of selecting
oneoftwopremixingfunctions:
•Premixfunctionforplaster(Figure25a);
•Premixfunctionforinvestmentmaterials
(Figure25b).
Thepremixingprocessforbothfunctionslastsno
morethanapprox.25seconds.
Dependingontheamountandtypeofmixturein
question,agoodmixingresultcanalsobeobtained
fromashorterpremixingprocess.
Youcansetthepremixtimeasfollows:
•Display:0:00 Premixingdeactivated
•Display:0:15 15sec.premixing
•Display:0:20 20sec.premixing
•Display:0:25 25sec.premixing

Onlyoneofthetwopremixfunctionscanbeactivated
at any given time. When one function is activated, the
other is automatically deactivated.
Activatingandchangingthepremixingfunctionis
performed in the same way as changing any other
mixingparameter.
TheLEDundertheassociatedpremixfunctiongoing

conjunction with a given programme.
Todeactivatethepremixfunction:
•Selectapremixfunction(bypressingoneofthe
premixkeys);
•Turnthecontrolknobuntilthedisplayreads

Selection and saving is performed in the same
way as changing a parameter, by:
•Pressingoneofthepremixkeys(Figure25a
orb);
•Adjustingthevaluewiththeaidofthecontrol
knob(Figure19);
•Savingthechangedvaluebyagainpressingthe
premixkeyuntiltheaudiblesignalsounds.
Just as is the case for any other parameter, the
premixingtimecanalsobechangedduringthemix-
ing process.
However,thepremixingtimecanonlybechangedin
5secondintervalstoachieveatotalpremixingtimeof:
•15seconds,or;
•20seconds,or;
•25seconds(maximum).
Just as is the case for the other mixing
parameters, these changes only apply to
the current mixing process. The previously
programmed values will again apply to the
subsequent mixing process.
7.5 Resetting the Parameters
Upondelivery,allprogrammescontainexactlythe
same values for all parameters (refer to the table in
Sec.5.1foralistofthefactorysettings).
Toresetallparametersandallprogrammestotheir
factory settings:
1. Switchtheunitoff;
2. Pressandholddownprogrammingkey“P”;
3. Switch the unit back on (while continuing to press
programmingkey“P”);
4. Continuetopressprogrammingkey“P”untilthe
audiblesignalgoesoff(afterapprox.3seconds).
