If housing / body is damaged a new one from part list “Housing /
body PS60/PSS60 - size 10A” must be chosen if an “old” frame
(frame revA) w/CE mark is mounted as shown:
The housing from this list is without CE mark as shown:
If a newer frame - without CE mark - is mounted and a new
housing/body is needed, a kit must be ordered instead as this
kit contains a housing/body with CE mark printed. Please see
part list on next page
The p/n’s on above list is the housing / body only and will match “old” frame revA only
As from Jun. 2007 the markings on the housing is changed. The CE mark has been moved from frame to housing. HI’s produced before Jun. 2007
will have the CE mark on the frame. HI’s produced after Jun. 2007 will have the the CE mark on the housing. During repair make sure that the HI
always carries only one CE mark. Housings for old version with the CE mark still on the frame can be ordered separately from the list below. Hous-
ings for new version (with CE mark on the housing) is only available in a housing kit (please see next page).

Assembly instructions
Push the pins slightly out from one side with a pin tool p/n 12937-001
and pull them out using e.g. tweezers. Take out the battery door and
the microphone lters.
Note: Filters need to be changed every time.
HI complete (without tubing)
Carefully push on the stud to separate the frame
from the housing and then pull out the frame.

Important: For following colours pins with ø 0.57 p/n 15934500 must
be used:
- Chrome metallic
- Chameleon

Frame preparation 10A
Insert sound outlet p/n 15071400.
Push until click-stop.
Ensure that the at side of the sound outlet
is correctly aligned with the frame.
Guide the green wire carefully through
the hole in the frame and press gently
the spring into place.
Insert negative battery spring.
Wire green 11mm
Fit the hybrid screen into the frame.
Add loctite 420 along the 3 sides of the screen to
x it to the frame.

Insert sound outlet p/n 15071400.
Push until click-stop.
Ensure that the at side of the sound outlet
is correctly aligned with the frame.
Guide the green wire carefully through the hole in
the frame and gently press the spring into place.

Note: Make sure that the microphone is
turned right. The wires must be turned
towards the back mic suspension as
shown on the drawing.
Microphone complete
Use service tool (heat zink) when soldering the microphone wires.
Brush EGC-1700 coating to the solder points and let dry for 15 sec
- then brush once more.

Make sure that the suspensions t well to the
sound studs/ports on the microphones.

Pull the receiver through the suspension as shown and
press it to the front of the suspension. Make sure the
receiver is well tted, and the suspension is undamaged.
