All HSG parts are nano coated
TOP HSG, mic lters & PB
If the mic lters are damaged (they are mounted inside the TOP
HSG) or the TOP HSG is damaged, the TOP HSG ASM can be
replaced. Choose either the TOP HSG ASM or a FILTER REPL
KIT.
Due to the mechanical construction of the HI and a sealing inside
the HI, the BOT HSG must not be replaced. If it is damaged and
needs to be replaced, the complete HI should be returned for
repair/replacement.

Disassembling Procedure for size 312 & 13 DRW models
For 61-DRW 312: Locate the module pin in the sound outlet end and push it out with a pin removal tool. Pull it out
with a tweezers. For 62-DRW 13: Locate the module pin (in the BAT end) and push it out with a pin removal tool.
Pull it out with a tweezer. For both models: Gently lift up the module and BAT DR from BOT HSG
Locate the TOP HSG pin and push it out using a pin removal tool. Pull the pin complete out using a tweezers. Gently lift o󰀨 the TOP HSG as shown

Replacing TOP HSG ASM, 61-DRWC / RHI
Locate the pin for the TOP HSG ASM and push it out using the SER-
VICE PIN TOOL ASM
Attach a new TOP HSG ASM. Remove the protection cap from the
pin tool to reveal the new TOP HSG pin. Insert the new pin into TOP
HSG by pushing in the tool
Pull back the pin tool and the pin will be pre-mounted. Complete the pin inserting
by using the tool to push in the new pin
Pull out the pin tool. The TOP HSG is now released from the BOT HSG. Lift
up the TOP HSG as shown and discard it as it must not be reused
If the mic lters are blocked, the complete TOP HSG ASM must be replaced.
The black SERVICE PIN TOOL can be used (p/n 21161685). The tool is delivered with the correct pin for xing the TOP HSG - use of the tool is shown
in below pics. Note that the TOP HSG ASM is the only HSG part which can be replaced on a 61-DRWC. Due to the construction of the HI, the BOT HSG
must not be replaced.

Replacing Rec Tube
Use a ngernail to slide the receiver lock towards the bat end of the HI (red rec lock for right side is shown here). The receiver lock will unlock the receiver
and it will pop out. Pull the receiver away from the HI
Connect a new receiver by sliding it into the HI as shown. Press to click it in place using e.g. a nger. Check that the rec is correct in place

Use either the removal procedure described here or use the rec removal tool - see instr in the guide which is enclosed the rec removal tool kit

Replacing Filter in Rec Tube
Remove the used wax lter:
Box of 8 wax lter tools. The wax lter
tool has two functions:
A removal tip to collect the used l-
ter, and a replacement tip with a new
white lter
Insert the removal tip into the used wax lter and then pull the tool straight
out. It is important to pull it straight and not on an angle
Insert the other end of the tool into
the sound outlet (the end with the re-
placement lter)
Insert the new wax lter:
Gently press the replacement lter
straight into the sound outlet until the
outer ring is touching the sound outlet
Pull the tool straight out – your new wax
lter will remain in place. Re-attach your
dome or a replacement dome
If a dome is mounted, remove
it before starting replace the
wax lter

Replacing Mic Filter in M&RIE Rec Tube
Locate the mic lter at the back of the rec tube. Use the lter removal end of the mic lter pin to remove the defective lter. Make sure the pin is pushed
all the way in to get the best grip on the defective lter (see red circle)
Pull back the pin with the defective lter. In the other end of the lter pin, the new lter is attached. Push it into the hole/mic sound inlet. Make sure the lter
is correct in place. Turn the pin clockwise until the new lter is released
