· This helicopter is suitable for indoor use and can also be
flown outdoors when the wind is absolutely still.
· This helicopter is suitable for children of 1S years upwards.
Parents must supervise their children whilst the helicopter
is in the air.
· Keep hands, face, hair and loose clothing away from the
rotors.
· Switch off the remote control unit and the helicopter when
they are not being used.
· Remove the batteries from the remote control when they
are not being used.
· Always observe the helicopter in order to avoid losing
control of it.
· We recommend new alkali-manganese batteries or
rechargeable batteries for the remote control.

2.4 GHz REMOTE CONTROL
· As soon as the remote control unit stops working reliably,
insert new batteries.
· Please retain these Operating instructions.
· The user should only operate this helicopter according to
the instructions for use in these Operating instructions.
· Do not fly the helicopter close to people, animals, waterways
and power supply lines.
· The charger for the Li-Po battery is specially produced to
charge the helicopter battery. Only use the charger to charge
the helicopter battery; not for other batteries.
• This aircraft is not suitable for people with physical or mental
disabilities. We recommend that inexperienced flyers start up
the helicopter under the supervision of an experienced pilot.
· The helicopter should not be used in temperatures above
4S°C/113°F or below 10°C/S0°F.
· Please only wipe down the helicopter using a clean moist cloth.
The helicopter is equipped with a rechargeable Li - Po battery .
Please observe the follow i ng safety guidelines:
Battery requirements
for the helicopter:
· Protect the helicopter and the batteries against direct sun
irradiation and/or direct heat
· Never bring the helicopter in contact with water, as the
electronics may be damaged.
Battery safety guidelines for remote control:
· Non-rechargeable batteries must not be charged.
· Rechargeable batteries must be removed from the remote control unit.
· Rechargeable batteries may only be charged under the supervision
of adults.
· Different battery types or new and used batteries must not be
used together.
· Only the recommended batteries or those of an equivalent
type may be used.
· Disposable batteries for this remote control unit and other electrical devices
operated in the household can be replaced by rechargeable batteries for
environmental reasons.
· The batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity (+ and -).
· Empty batteries must be removed from the remote control unit.
·The terminal strips must not be short-circuited. Remove the batteries from
the remote control unit if they are not required for a longer
period of time.

WEEE: At the end of this device's useful life, please
remove all the batteries and dispose of them sepa-
rately. Take electrical appliances to the local collection
points for waste electrical and electronic equipment.

· Never throw the Li-Po battery into fire or store in hot areas.
· Only use the supplied Revell Li-Po charger to charge this Li-Po battery. Use
of a different charger c<Jn lead to permanent damage of the battery and
neighbouring parts and cause physical damage!
· Never use a charger designed for NiCd/NiMH batteries!
·Always charge the battery on a fireproof surface and in a fire-resistant
environment.
· Never leave the battery unattended during the charging and discharging
processes.
· The battery must always be fully charged, but not charged for longer than
180 mi nutes.
· On disposal, the batteries must be discharged or the battery capacity must
be exhausted. Cover open poles with ~n adhesive strip to avoid short
circuits'
· Keep the battery out of the reach of children.
Safety guidelines :
· Never make changes to the construction of the product. as it could
be damaged or become a hazard.
· In order to cut risks, never operate the helicopter when sitting on the floor
or on a chair. Operate the helicopter from a position from which
you can move quickly if required.
· The aircraft and the remote control must always be fully switched
off after use and the plug on the cable of the helicopter battery
disconnected.

A fire-resistant sur f ace and fireproo f environment mu st always be chosen for the charging process.
1. Switch off the helicopter and the remote control unit (fig. 1).
2. Carefully disconnect the plug on the ba tt ery cable from the helicopter (f i g. 2).
3. Connect the charger power pack with the Li-Po cha r ger Now plug the
power pack into a socket. The red LED on the li-Po charger illuminates.
4. Carefully plug the white plug of the Li-Po battery into the li-Po charger
Do not apply force (fig. 3).
5. The charging process takes approx. 180 minu t es and must be continuously
supe rvised .T he green LED illuminates gr een as soon as the power pack is
fu lly charged.
After a charging time of 180 minutes, the helicopter can fly approx . 6-8 minutes. The charging process may not take longer than 180 minutes . If the LED indicator does not
illuminate after this time, the charging process should be stopped. Then check the functions of the helicopter and continue to fly until the power is not sufficient or the rotors
come to a standstill. Then repeat the charging process described above .
Warning: the li-Po battery warms up during charging, but if it becomes hot and/or changes are shown on the surface, the charging pr ocess must be stopped immed i ately!

Flying the helicopter
1. STARTING PREPARATIONS:
The speed controller (left controller of the remote control) must point downwards when switching on the helicopter in
order to avoid an unwanted start. Now set the ON/OFF-switch of the remote control to ,ON". Carefully plug the cable for
the flight operation onto the helicopter. Set the ON/OFF-switch of the helicopter to,ON". Place the helicopter on the floor
at a distance of 1-2 metres from you so that the tai l points in your direction. The remote control requires approximately
5 seconds to synchronise with the he l icopter. Afterwards you can start by moving the speed control slowly from its lower
position. If necessary also set the thrust trim to the lower position.

2. TRIMMING THE CONTROLS:

Correct trimming is the basic prerequisite for correct helicopter flight characteristics. It is easy to align the helicopter, but requires patience and sensitivity.
Please observe the following guidelines precisely: Move the actuating regulator carefully upwards to make the helicopter move approximately 0.5 to 1 metre upwards.

If the helicopter automatically rotates quickly or slowly to the right, turn the leftjright

ine tuning in an anti-clockwise direction until the helicopter no longer rotates .
Roll trim:
If the helicopter turns quickly or
slowly to the left by itself ...
If the helicopter automatically rotates quickly or slowly to the left, turn the left/r ight fine
tuning in an anti-clockwise direction until the helicopter no longer rotates.
If the helicopter continues to drift to one si de when flying, try to correct this by moving the roll trim dial in
the opposite direction to the way the helicopter is drifting.
The helicopter flies
forward by itself...
If the helicopter flies forward by itself move the nod trim backwards until the helicopter
no longer flies forward.
The helicopter climbs
by itself...

3. FLIGHT CONTROLS:
In order to start or to fly the h elicopter hi gher, pu sh t he actuating regula t or carefully forward.
In order to fly forwards, move the direction regulator carefully forwards.
In order to bank to the left, move the direction regulator carefully to the left if the
helicopter is fl ying with its tail facing the pi lot.
SPEED SELECTION SWITCH:
In order to land or to fly lower, move the actuating regulator backwa r ds. Mi nimal
corrections to .the r egulator are r equired to allow t he helicopter to fly smoothly.
In order to fly backwards, move the direction regulator carefully backwards.

In order to bank to the right. move the direction regulator care f ully to the right if
the hel i copter is flying with its tail facing the pilot.
When the sw i tch is set to Quick, t he hel i copte r fli es faster backwards and forwards. If t he sw i tch is set to Slow, the
helicop t er fl ies more slowly backwa r ds and fo r wa r ds.
Guidelines on safe flying
4. G[NERAL FLIGHT TIPS:
· Always lay the helicopter down on a smooth surface. A slanting sur f ace may negatively affect
the starting characteristics of the hel i copter.
·Always move t he regulator slowly and sensitively.
·Always observe the helicop ter and not the remote control unit'
· Move the actua t ing regulator downwards slightly as soon as t he helicop t er lifts off from the
ground. In order to mainta in the fl ying height, adapt the actuating regulator settings.
· If the helicopter goes lower, move t he actuating reg u lator upwards slig h tly.
· If the helico p te r rises, move the actua ti ng reg u lator dow n war ds slig h tly.
· In order to flyi nto a curve, it is often sufficient to tap t he direct i on r egulator gently into the
appropriate di r ection. During the first flight attempts, people tend to con t rol the helicopter too
vehemently. The control regulator should always be moved slowly and carefully- never quickly
or suddenly.
· Beginners sh ould, afte rtrim ming, first try to co m man d the ac tu ating r egulator correc tl y. The
helicopter does not necessarily have to f ly straigh t ahead at fi rst - it is more importan t to main-
tain a consistent height of approximately one metre above the fl oor by repea t ed, brie f tapping
of the actuating regulator. Only then should you prac t ice moving the helicopter left and right.
5. SUITABLE FLIGHT ENVIRONMENT:
The location in which the helicopter is flown must fulfil the f ollowing criter i a:
1. The helico p ter can be fl own outdoo r s, but only when the wind is absolutely s ti ll.
T he w in d should also be still whe nfl ying in closed rooms. No air-co nditi oning un it s or h ea ter
fans etc that co u ld create af low of air should be with int he fligh t r ange wherever possible.
2. The fl ight range should be at least 6 met r es long, 6 met r es wi de and 3 metres high.
3. The fl ight range should always be f ree of obstacles.
4. On st ar t ing, you must ens u re that all liv i ng cr eatu r es - incl u ding the pilot - are st and i ng
at least 1-2m away f rom the h el i copter wh en the fli ght begins.
5. Always observe the hel i copte r to ens u re it does not fly at the pilot, other people or
an i mals and injure them.

Tips for operation
· Make sure to return the thrust controller on the remote control to the lowest position aher an "emergency landing" in order to prevent damages to the electronics and rotor blades.
• Always completely switch off the flying machine and remote control after use and unplug the plug on the cable for the flight operation on the helicopter. Otherwise a star t command
could follow accidentally.
Replacing the rotor blades
If the rotor blades on the he licop ter become damaged and have to be replaced, switch the remote control to "OFF" and disconnect the plug from the helicopter battery Then proceed as follows:
Ensure before installation
that you have not mixed
up the rotor blades. Th e rotor
blades are marked
"A" and"B" (see Fig.)

installed on the top and type
"B" rotor blades are installed
below.
1. Remove the casing from the helicopter as shown (fig. 1 a/b)
2. Open the retainer braces with a Philips screwdriver and
remove the battery (fig. 2)
Changing the Li-Po battery
3. When inserting a new Li-Po battery, pay attention to the
same position so that the distribution of weight and the flight
performance of your helicopter remains the same (fig. 3).

4. Ensure the secure hold of the battery by using double-sided
sticky tape if necessary, and by tightening the retainer braces.
Place the casing back on the fuselage (fig. 4).
5. Pay attention to the disposal information for the battery on
page 1.
Problem: The rotor blades do not move.
Problem: The radio control does not work .
Problem: The helicopter cannot be operated
with the radio remote control.
Problem: The helicopter does not ascend
Problem: The helicopter loses thrust during
the flight without any apparent
reason and descends .
Problem: The helicopter lands too quickly .
Resolution of errors
Cause: · The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF"
· The battery is too low or empty.
Cause: · The ON/OFF switch is set to "OFF".
• The batteries were not inserted correctly.
·The batteries are too weak. '
Cause: · The switch on the radio control is set to "OW
· The helicopter switch is turned to "OFF"
· The antenna on the radio control is not inserted
corrected and/or not fully extended.
Cause: · The rotor blades rotate too slowly.
· There is not enough battery power.
Cause: · The battery is too weak.
Cause: · Loss of throttle control.
· The thrust controller is pulled down
too quickly.
Service guidelines
1. Take a Phillips screwdriver and ca r efully unscrew the screws
on the rotor blade.
2. Now carefully pull the rotor blade off the holder.
3. Insert the new rotor blade carefully into the holder and
tighten the screw. Caut i on : Do not screw in the screw too
tightly. The rotor blade must have some play.
Remedy: · set the ON/OFF switch to "ON".
• Recharge the battery (see "Charging the aircraft
battery" section).
Remedy: · Set the ON/OFF switch to "ON".
·Check that the batteries are correctly inserted.
· Insert new batteries.
Remedy: · Switch the switch on the radio remote control to "ON':
· The helicopter switch is turned to "ON"
· Check antenna and extend to ful l height.
• Repeat the take-off procedure and/or replace the
batteries and/or recharge
Remedy: · Push the throttle stick up.
· Recharge the battery (see "Charging the
aircraft battery" section).
Remedy: · Recharge the battery (see "Charging the
aircraft battery" section).
Remedy: · Slowly move the throttle stick to the down position.
