Teach Pendant
lThe robot pairing process can beinitiated:
lAutomatically, at the end of the Start
configurationwizard
lManually, by tapping the Installation tab,
selecting Insights in the menu on the left,
and tapping the Start pairing wizard button
Web Application
lFrom your desktop device, go to
insights.robotiq.com
lLog in and click on Add robot
lClick on Start Pairing
lFollow pairing instructions
4. ACTIVATEYOURLICENSE
lFrom the Dashboard of the web application, click
the triple bar button in the upper-left corner and click
Manage robots
lIn the Manage column, click the Subscription button
corresponding to the appropriate robot
lView the license type, request a quote or enter a
valid license number to activate a license
5. OPERATEINSIGHTS*
Teach Pendant
lFrom the PolyScope home page, tap Program Robot
and open a robot program
lFrom your robot program, go to the Structure tab
lGo to the URCaps sub-menu
lTap the Insights button to generate an Insights Event
in the program tree
lCreate a custom event or select a standard Robotiq
event (e.g. Cycle counter)
lOptionally, check the Enable event alerts box
(a phone number needs to be entered in the web
application afterwards)
lIf needed, add a custom message to the default
SMSalert triggered by the corresponding event
Web Application
lFrom the Dashboard, tap the Notifications button
lSelect the appropriate robot and set the email reports
and SMSalerts according to your needs
lBack to the Dashboard, select the appropriate robot
to access its Performance Timeline
lTap the Add custom event button to display the cus-
tom events from the teach pendant
lMonitor the top 5 cobot and custom KPIs in their
respective graphs

lGo to insights.robotiq.com
lLog in or create an account
lPress the Add robot button and download the
URCap on the provided USBstick
Teach Pendant
lWith the controller on, insert the USBstick in the
teach pendant
lFrom the PolyScope home page, tap Setup Robot
lGo to URCaps and tap the +symbol
lOpen Robotiq_Insights-X.X.X.urcap from the
USBstick
lTap the Restart button
