TURBO CONVECTOR
USER INSTRUCTIONS
220-240V~50Hz 2500W
This product is only suitable for well insulated spaces or occasional use.

IMPORTANT Read these instructions fully before using
the heater. Retain these instructions for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (to be read before operating
the heater)
-Do not use the heater unless the feet are correctly
attached.
-Ensure the power supply to the socket into which the
heater is plugged is in accordance with the rating label on
the heater and that the socket is earthed.
-Keep the mains lead away from the hot body of the heater.
-Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a
bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
-Never place the heater where it may fall into a bathtub or
other water container.
-Do not use outdoors.
-Do not cover or obstruct any of the heat outlet grilles or
the air intake openings of the heater.
-Do not place the heater on carpets having a very deep
pile.
-Always ensure that the heater is placed on a firm level
surface. Ensure that the heater is not positioned close to
curtains or furniture as this could create a fire hazard.
-Do not position the heater in front of, or immediately
below, a wall socket.
-Do not insert any object through the heat outlet or air
intake grilles of the heater.
-Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids
are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.
-The appliance is not intended for use by young children
or infirm persons without supervision.
-Young children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the appliance.
-Always unplug the heater when moving it from one

location to another.
-Do not use the heater if the power cord is damaged. If
the power cord is damaged it must be replaced by a
recognized service agent or other qualified person.
-This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years
and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall
not be made by children without supervision.
- WARNING: In order to avoid overheating, do not
cover the heater.
-CAUTION: In order to avoid a hazard due to inadvertent
resetting of the thermal cutout, this appliance must not be
supplied through an external switching device, such as a
timer, or connected to a circuit that is regularly switched on
and off by the utility.
-Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless
continuously supervised.
-Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall
only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been
placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from
3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate
and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
-CAUTION- Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people are
present.

- The heater must not be located immediately below a
socket outlet.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.
- WARNING: Do not use this heater in small rooms when
they are occupied by persons not capable of leaving the
room on their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
- WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles,
curtains, or any other flammable material a minimum
distance of 1 m from the air outlet.
–do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of
a bath, a shower or a swimming pool;
–do not use this heater if it has been dropped;
–do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the
heater;
–use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface.
ASSEMBLY OF THE HEATER
Before using the heater, the feet
(supplied separately in the carton),
must be fitted to the unit. These are
to be attached to the base of the
heater using the 4 screws provided,
taking care to ensure that they are
located correctly in the bottom ends
of the heater side moldings

OPERATION OF THE HEATER
NOTE:- It is normal when the heaters are turned on for
the first time or when they are turned on after having not
been used for a long period of time the heaters may emit
some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the
heater has been on a short while.
User are requested to pay attention to it that you can not
do “setting the temperature units (°F/°C)”, “setting the
switch-off time(timer)”, “setting the heat output” or
“switching the fan on and off” before you switch on the
on/off button on the control panel of the appliance or
on the remote control handset.
Switching on and off
1. The convector has two on/off switches. To switch the
convector on, place the on/off switch on the left-hand
side of the appliance into position I”. There is a separate
switch for the heat setting. Press the on/off switch on the
control panel of the appliance or on the remote control
handset.
2. To switch the heat setting off again, press the on/off
button once more on the control panel or on your remote
control handset. The convector remains on standby, ready
for operation. To switch the convector off from the mains
supply, place the on/off switch on the side of the appliance
into position “0” again.
Setting the heat output
1. Press the heat output selection button on the
operating panel of the appliance or the button on the
remote control handset the appropriate number of times
until the required heat output setting is achieved: 1 x press
= 1000 watts (low heat setting); 2 x presses = 1500 watts

(middle heat setting); 3 x presses = 2500 watts (high heat
setting).
2. The selected heat setting is indicated on the display.
Switching the fan on and off
1. To switch the turbo-fan on press the fan On/Off
button on the operating panel of the appliance or press the
button on the remote control handset. If the fan is on,
the indicator on the display is illuminated.
2. To switch the turbo-fan off press the fan On/Off button
on the operating panel of the appliance again or press the
button on the remote control handset again. If the fan is off,
the FAN indicator on the display is not illuminated.
Setting the switch–off time (timer)
You can preset a switch-off time for the appliance using
the timer function. To do this press the timer button on
the appliance or the button “ ”on the remote control
handset the appropriate number of times. By setting
various combinations you can preset the switch-off time
for values up to 12 hours.
Different switch-off times are achieved by adding the four
indicators 1H, 2H, ...12H on the display. The appliance
switches off automatically after the preset time.
To switch off the timer:
Press the timer button on the appliance or the button
on the remote control handset until timer indicators on
the display are not illuminated or switch the appliance off
by pressing the On/Off switch on the operating panel of
the appliance or the button on the remote control
handset.

Setting the temperature units (°F/°C)
Press the temperature units selection button on the
operating panel of the appliance or the °F/°C button on the
remote control handset the appropriate number of times
until the required temperature units setting is achieved. °F
= Fahrenheit °C = Centigrade. The selected temperature
units setting is indicated on the display.
Increasing or decreasing the temperature setting
1. Press the button for increasing the temperature setting
on the operating panel of the appliance or the “+” button
on the remote control handset the appropriate number of
times until the required increased temperature setting is
achieved.
2. Press the button for decreasing the temperature setting
(-) on the operating panel of the appliance or the “-” button
on the remote control handset the appropriate number of
times until the required decreased temperature setting is
achieved. The selected temperature setting is indicated on
the display.
Note: the display always shows the last set temperature
and not the room temperature. If the heat function
switches itself off then this temperature has been achieved
in the immediate area of the convector. For the actual
room temperature to reach this value usually requires
more time.
Children safety lock
Press the button about 3 seconds on the operating
panel of the appliance or the button on the remote
control handset,the appliance will be run children safety
lock fucntion,the display panel are not illuminated and
all function button will be locked. If you want to quit this
fucntion,press the button about 3 seconds again,the

display panel are illuminated again and all function
button will be unlocked.
CLEANING THE HEATER
Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it
to cool down before cleaning.
Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp
cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents
or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the
heater.
STORING THE HEATER
When the heater is not used for long periods of time, it
should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry
place.
Note: this appliance is not intended for use by persons
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible
for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not
play with the appliance.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THE
PRODUCT IN ACCORDANCE WITH EC DIRECTIVE 2002/96/EC.
At the end of its working life, the product must not be disposed of as
urban waste. It must be taken to a special local authority differentiated
waste collection centre or to a dealer providing this service. Disposing
of a household appliance separately avoids possible negative
consequences for the environment and health, deriving form
inappropriate disposal and enables the constituent materials to be
recovered to obtain significant savings in energy and resources. As a
reminder of the need to dispose of household appliances separately,
the product is marked with a crossed-out wheeled dustbin.
