Mounting instructions
Pleated blind Duette VS1 / VS2
Dear Rollo Rieper customer,
This pleated blind system was made to measure especially for your windows..
If you have purchased a VS1 please read the instructions from point 1, if you have a VS2 start at point 2.

Please read the following instructions carefully before installation.

1. VS1 Mounting carriers
A. Make sure to set the position of the carrier as close as possible to the control.
Select the same mounting distance of the carrier on the opposite side.
Please note a max. carrier spacing of about 50 cm.
B. Screw down the carriers at the determined position. Lever the pleated blind into the carrier
with an audible click.
2. Mounting clamping shoe VS1 / VS2
C. Please ensure, that the system cord runs through the rear slot of the clamping shoe. If the
Pleated blind's tension is too low please tie a new knot to the left AND to the right. After proper
Installation carefully cut the protruding cords.
D. Position the screws for the clamping shoe 17mm from the outer edge of the glass rebate or pleated blind
and screw them on slightly. Slide the clamping shoes onto the screws and tighten them hand tight.

E. Then plug the caps on the clamping shoes. Slide on control handle.
Optional wall / frame installation with tension bracket:
Assemble the tension bracket perpendicularly below the pleated blind and screw on the clamping shoes.
Spannschuhe auf. Then push on the caps.
VS2 only
The tension brackets must be assembled absolutely perpendicular to avoid a skewing of the blind.

Cleaning bath
1.) Wave the pleated blind in a fine detergent suds at max. 30°C for max. 15 minutes.
2.) Rinse with clear water, fold together the fabric stack and carefully squeeze out the water.
3.) Re-attach the wet system and alternately open (so that the fabric can dry completely) and
close it (so that the drapes will persist) spread over the day.
Attention: Don't iron pleated linds!
Our pleated blinds are dust- and dirt-resistant due to the coating on both sides.
owever, if you want a cleaning, so pay attention to our specific requirements set out in the
cleaning symbols from our collections.
Soiling, e.g. Dust usually can be removed using a soft cloth brush or gently vacuumed.
For wet cleaning, place the pleated blind on a flat surface. Gently wipe off the pleated blind
on both sides using a soft cloth moistened in mild detergent suds.
Mechanical components of electrical and crank handle systems may not come into contact with water!
We can not assume any warranty on material damage caused by condensation,
cleaning products or insect dirt. For any consequential damages caused by incorrect handling of
our products we can not assume any liability.
Don't use agressive, alkaline cleansers to clean glass and window frames.
