Mounting instructions
Pleated blinds version F1 cord operation, FK chain hoist
Dear Rollo Rieper customer,
This pleated blind system was made especially or your windows.
Quality materials and a per ect design ensure a long service li e and will provide much joy
with the purchased product.
Please read the ollowing instructions care ully be ore installation.

A. Make sure to set the position o the carrier as close as possible to the control.
Optionally you may use the compensation wedges at tilted glass rebates (except or FK).
This reduces the angle when opening and closing the system. Select the same mounting distance
o the carrier on the opposite side. Please note a max. carrier spacing o about 50 cm.
FK – Attention:
Never place the carrier over a string mechanism (elevator cone, cord guide, etc.) otherwise
a correct operation o the pleated blinds is no longer guaranteed.
B. Screw down the carriers at the determined position. Lever the pleated blind into the carrier
with an audible click.
Wrong carrier position:

FK: Li t the pleated blind into the carrier by tilting the head rail and then close the mounting brackets.
STOP.
. To open the system on model F, pull the cord to the ront. To lock pull down slightly.

General
KADECO pleated blinds are dust- and dirt-resistant due to the coating on both sides.
However, i you want a cleaning, so pay attention to our speci ic requirements set out in the
cleaning symbols rom our collections.
Brush
Soiling, e.g. Dust usually can be removed using a so t cloth brush or gently vacuumed.
Wipe
For wet cleaning, place the pleated blind on a lat sur ace. Gently wipe o the pleated blind
on both sides using a so t cloth moistened in mild detergent suds.
leaning bath
1.) Wave the pleated blind in a ine detergent suds at max. 30°C or max. 15 minutes.

2.) Rinse with clear water, old together the abric stack and care ully squeeze out the water.
3.) Re-attach the wet system and alternately open (so that the abric can dry completely) and
close it (so that the drapes will persist) spread over the day.
Attention: Don't iron Pleated blinds!
Mechanical components o electrical and crank handle systems may not come into contact with water!
Don't use agressive, alkaline cleansers to clean glass and window rames.
We can not assume any warranty on material damage caused by condensation,
cleaning products or insect dirt. For any consequential damages caused by incorrect handling o
our products we can not assume any liability.
A. Installation of the shuttle protection (optional) on the wall/frame:
Route the wire o the shuttle protection through the ront slot o the clamping shoe. Slide open the
metall sleeve and tie the overall length o the shuttle protection approx. 5 cm shorter than the height
o the pleated blind.
B. Assemble the tension bracket perpendicularly below the pleated blind and screw on the clamping shoes.
The shuttle protection tightens by the spring in the head rail. Then push the caps on.
A. Installation of the shuttle protection (optional) on the ceiling/glass rebate:
Route the wire o the shuttle protection through the ront slot o the clamping shoe. Slide open the
metall sleeve and tie the overall length o the shuttle protection approx. 5 cm shorter than the
clear height o the glass rebate/ pleated blind.

B. Position the screws or the clamping shoe 17mm rom the outer edge o the glass rebate or pleated blind
and screw them on slightly. Slide the clamping shoes onto the screws and tighten them hand tight.
The shuttle protection tightens by the spring in the head rail.
. Then plug the caps on the clamping shoes.
