Quick Guide
How to Use
Push the On/Obuon by the display window. The display will read for 2 seconds and beep sound will be
heard.
1. Releasing the on/obuon, last measured temperature will be shown for about 2 seconds. Then shows
the self-test temperature 37.0°C (98.6°F) .And then Lo°C (Lo°F) displays.
2. Wipe or dip the probe with alcohol for disinfecon. Posion the probe in oral, rectal, axillary etc. For oral
use, please put the sensor into the posion marked by “” according to the picture. To insure the accuracy,
please keep the mouth dosed for 5 minutes before tesng.
3. Once the degree sign °C (°F) on the display has stopped ashing (usually within 30 to 60 seconds), an alarm
signal will sound for approx. 10 seconds, the measured temperature is shown on LCD window. The
temperature reading will not change aer the unit is removed from tesng posion.
If the temperature <37.8°C (100.0°F), the buzzer will alarm “Bi---Bi---Bi---Bi---”.
If the temperature 37.8°C (100.0°F), the buzzer whose frequency is higher will alarm “Bi-Bi-Bi----Bi-
Bi-Bi--” about 10 mes rather than ”Bi---Bi---Bi---Bi---”
4. The unit will automacally turn oin 10 minutes for energy-saving. However, to prolong the life of the
baery, it is suggested to press the On/Obuon to turn the unit oonce the measurement is done.
5. Please dispose of any used baery and the thermometer according to the law.
Note: Aer step 2, if the room temperature is greater than 32.0°C (89.6°F ), it will be displayed the room
temperature.
Note: Usage of the probe cover may result in a 0.1°C (0.2°F) dierence from actual temperature.
Note: To clean the probe before and aer using the thermometer to ensure an accurate reading and avoid
cross contaminaon approximately.

Oral Use
1. Place the probe well under the paent’s tongue.
2. Conrm the paent to keep his mouth closing for about 1 minute.
Note: The normal temperature by this method is 35.7°C ~ 37.3°C (96.3°F ~ 99.1°F).
Rectal Use
1. Lubricate the probe with the petroleum jelly for easier inseron.
2. Gently insert the probe about one cenmeter (less than 1/2 inch.) into the paent’s rectum for about 1
minute.
Note: A normal temperature by this method is about 36.2°C ~ 37.7°C (97.2°F ~ 99.9°F).
Axillary Use
1. Wipe armpit with a dry towel.
2. Place probe in the paent’s armpit and keep the paent’s arm pressed rmly against his side for about 1
minute.
Note: A normal temperature by this method is 35.2°C ~ 36.7°C (95.4°F~ 98.1°F).
Cleaning and Disinfection
1. Clean the unit by wiping it with a dry cloth and sterilize the probe with ethyl alcohol.
2. Don’t let the unit contact any chemical thinner.
3. Not waterproof. Do not soak the display in water. Only the probe is waterproof.
Cautions
•If the unit is stored in an extreme environment before measurement, please make sure it has been
rstly adapted in the room temperature, so that the unit can be measured normally.

These acvies will raise or lower temperature readings when compared to your normal, average
temperature.
•Please ensure the close contact between the probe and the armpit of the baby or children.
