Safety, performance, and dependability
have been given top priority in the
design of your battery charger.
INTENDED USE
This charger is intended to charge only
BPL3615, BPL3620D, BPL3626D,
BPL3626D2, BPL3640D, BPL3640D2,
BPL3650D, BPL3650D2, RY36B60A,
RY36B90A, and RY36B12A battery
packs listed in this manual.
The product is only for indoor use, in dry
conditions.
The product is not intended to charge
any other type of battery or be used
as a power supply. It should never
be used in explosive or inflammable
environments.
Do not use the product for any other
purpose.
CHARGER SAFETY WARNINGS
WARNING
Read all safety warnings and all
instructions. Failure to follow the
warnings and instructions may result
in electric shock, fire, and/or serious
injury.
WARNING
Do not recharge primary cells
(non-rechargeable).
WARNING
Mains voltage must correspond with
the voltage specifications on the
product.
■Before using the product, check that
the charger enclosure, cable, and
plug are not damaged. If damage
is found, do not use the product
and bring it to an authorised service
centre for repair.
■The product must not be damp and
should never be used in a damp
environment.
■The product is for indoor use only.
■Do not use the product if it has
suffered any heavy shock or jolting,
or if it is damaged in any other way.
■When charging, do not expose
the product to sunlight or other
heat source. The recommended
temperature range at charging
vicinity is 10° to 25°C.
■Due to the heat generated during
charging, do not use the product on
a combustible surface.
■Do not use the product near
flammable materials, such as cloth,
packaging materials, paint, spray
paint or aerosols, lubricants, thinners,
petrol containers, gas containers, or
gas appliances.
■Do not cover any ventilation slots,
and provide adequate ventilation
during operation.
■Never modify, disassemble, or
attempt to repair the product yourself.
■Do not allow the charger or battery
packs to become contaminated
with any material that could be
conductive, such as metallic particles
from grinding, cutting, or machining
processes.
■Unplug the product from the power
socket when it is not in use or when
cleaning it.
■Use only an extension cable that is
approved and in good condition.
■Do not charge battery packs that
show signs of leaks. Dispose of them

properly.
■Never charge a damaged battery
pack. Replace damaged battery
packs immediately.
■Before every use, examine the
supply cord for damage. If there are
signs of damage, it must be replaced
by a qualified person at an authorised
service centre to avoid a hazard.
ADDITIONAL BATTERY SAFETY
WARNINGS
WARNING
To reduce the risk of fire, personal
injury, and product damage due to
a short circuit, never immerse your
tool, battery pack or charger in fluid
or allow a fluid to flow inside them.
Corrosive or conductive fluids,
such as seawater, certain industrial
chemicals, and bleach or bleach-
containing products, etc., can cause
a short circuit.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Recycle raw materials
instead of disposing of
as waste. The machine,
accessories and packaging
should be stored for
environmentally friendly
recycling.
OPERATION
CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
Battery packs are shipped in a low
charge condition. Therefore, you
should charge them before first use. If
the charger does not charge the battery
pack under normal circumstances,
bring both the battery pack and charger
to an authorised service centre.
Make sure that the power supply is
normal household voltage, 220–240V,
50/60Hz, AC only.
Make sure that the battery pack latch
clicks into place and that the battery
pack is secured in the charger before
charging.
NOTE: When the battery becomes fully
charged, the green LED remains on. It
is normal for the battery pack to become
slightly warm to touch while charging.
Do not place the charger and battery
pack in an area of extreme heat or
cold. They work best at normal room
temperature.
NOTE: When charging, the charger
and battery pack should be placed in a
location where the temperature is more
than 10°C but less than 25°C.
CHARGING A COOL BATTERY PACK
See Fig. 2
1. Align the raised rib on the battery
pack with the groove in the product,
and slide in the battery pack. Make
sure that the battery pack latch clicks
into place.
2. Connect the product to a power
supply.
See Fig.3
1. Disconnect the product from the
power supply when the battery pack
becomes fully charged.
2. Press the battery pack latch to unlock
the battery pack from the product.
3. Slide the battery pack off the product.
CHARGING A HOT BATTERY PACK
When using a tool continuously, the
cells in the battery pack become hot. A
hot battery pack should be allowed to
cool down for approximately 30 minutes

before recharging.
MAINTENANCE
■When not using or when cleaning the
product, disconnect it from the power
supply and remove the battery pack.
■Avoid using solvents when cleaning
plastic parts. Most plastics are
susceptible to various types of
commercial solvents. Use clean cloth
or soft brush to remove dirt and dust.
■Do not, at any time, let brake fluids,
gasoline, petroleum-based products,
and penetrating oils come in contact
with plastic parts. These products
contain chemicals that can damage,
weaken, or destroy plastic.
WARNING
Hazardous voltages are present within
the product; do not disassemble.
■Ifthesupply cordisdamaged,
it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service
agent or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
CLEANING THE CHARGER
WARNING
Unplug the charger power cord from
power supply before cleaning at any
time to prevent serious personal
injury.
■Clean the charger surface (except
labels) using a damp cloth with a mild
detergent.
■Do not use any strong detergents
on the plastic housing. They can be
damaged by certain aromatic oils
such as pine and lemon, and by
solvents such as kerosene.
■Moisture can cause a shock hazard.
Wipe off any moisture with a soft dry
cloth.
STORAGE
Store your charger in a cool dry place
between 10°C. and 38°C.

Le chargeur est conçu uniquement pour
charger les packs de batterie BPL3615,
BPL3620D, BPL3626D, BPL3626D2,
BPL3640D, BPL3640D2, BPL3650D,
BPL3650D2, RY36B60A, RY36B90A,
RY36B12Aindiqués dans ce manuel.
Ce produit est réservé à un usage en
intérieur, dans un environnement sec.
Ce produit n'est pas conçu pour charger
tout autre type de batterie, ni pour être
utilisé en tant que source d'alimentation,
ni tout autre objectif. Il ne doit jamais
être utilisé dans des environnements
explosifs ou inflammables.
Utilisez ce produit pour aucun autre
travail.

AVERTISSEMENT
Lisez tous les avertissements et
indications. Le non-respect des
avertissements et instructions peut
entraîner une décharge électrique, un
incendie et/ou de graves blessures.

Ne pas recharger les cellules
primaires (non rechargeables).
AVERTISSEMENT
La tension secteur doit correspondre
aux spécifications de tension
applicables au produit.
■Avant d'utiliser le produit, vérifier
que le boîtier, le câble et la prise du
chargeur ne sont pas endommagés.
Si aucun dommage n'est identifié, ne
pas utiliser le produit et l'amener à un
centre d'entretien agréé à des fins de
réparation.
■L'appareil ne doit jamais être humide
ou utilisé dans un environnement
humide.
■Le chargeur n'est prévu que pour
une utilisation à l'intérieur.
■N'utilisez pas cet appareil s'il a reçu
un choc ou s'il est endommagé d'une
quelconque manière.
■Lors de la charge, ne pas exposer le
produit au soleil ou à d'autres sources
de chaleur. La plage de température
recommandée à proximité de la
charge est de 10 à 25 °C.
■En raison de la chaleur générée lors
de la charge, ne pas utiliser le produit
sur une surface combustible.
■Ne pas utiliser le produit à proximité
de matériaux inflammables, tels
que des tissus, des matériaux
d'emballage, de la peinture, de la
peinture au pistolet ou d'aérosols, de
lubrifiants, de diluants, de conteneurs
de pétrole, de conteneurs de gaz ou
d'appareils à gaz.
■Ne pas couvrir les évents de
ventilation et assurer une ventilation
correcte en cours d'utilisation.
■Ne jamais modifier, désassembler
ou tenter de réparer soi-même le
produit.
■Ne pas laisser le chargeur ou
les packs de batterie se laisser
contaminer par des matériaux
potentiellement conducteurs, tels que
des particules métalliques générées

par les processus de meulage, de
coupe ou d'usinage.
■Débrancher la prise du produit de
la prise murale lorsqu'elle n'est pas
utilisée ou lors de son nettoyage.
■Utiliser uniquement un câble
d'extension homologué et en bon
état.
■Ne pas charger les packs de batterie
présentant des signes de fuite. Les
mettre correctement au rebut.
■Ne jamais charger un pack de
batterie endommagé. Remplacer
immédiatement les blocs-batterie.
■Avant chaque utilisation, vérifiez
que le câble d'alimentation n'est pas
endommagé. En cas de signe de
dommages, faites procéder à son
remplacement par une personne
qualifiée ou par un service après-
vente agréé afin d'éviter tout danger.

CONCERNANT LA BATTERIE
AVERTISSEMENT
Pour réduire le risque d’incendie, de
blessures ou d’endommagement du
produit causé par un court-circuit,
n’immergez jamais l’outil, le bloc
de batterie ou le chargeur dans du
liquide, et ne laissez jamais de liquide
pénétrer dans aucun d’entre eux. Les
fluides corrosifs ou conducteurs, tels
que l‘eau de mer, certains produits
chimiques industriels, les produits
de blanchiment ou contenant des
agents de blanchiment, etc. peuvent
provoquer un court-circuit.
PROTECTION DE
L’ENVIRONNEMENT
Recyclez les matières
premières au lieu de
les jeter aux ordures
ménagères. Pour protéger
l’environnement, l’outil,
les accessoires et les
emballages doivent être
triés.
UTILISATION
CHARGE DE LA BATTERIE
Les blocs-batterie sont livrés avec une
faible charge. Ceux-ci doivent donc être
chargés avant toute utilisation initiale.
Si le chargeur ne charge pas le pack
de batterie dans des circonstances
normales, amener le pack de batterie
et le chargeur à un centre d'entretien
agréé.
Assurez-vous que l'alimentation est
de 220-240V, 5060Hz CA uniquement
(tension domestique normale).
Veiller à ce que le verrou du bloc-
batterie s'encliquète en place et à ce
que le bloc-batterie soit sécurisé dans
le chargeur avant de procéder à la
charge.
REMARQUE: Une fois la batterie
complètement chargée, le voyant LED
de couleur verte reste allumé. Il est
normal que le bloc-batterie devienne
légèrement chaude au toucher lors de
la charge.
Ne placez pas le pack batterie et
le chargeur en un lieu où règnent
des températures extrêmes. Ils
fonctionneront mieux sous des
conditions de température ambiante
normales.
