In cases of power failure Samchully Cylinders are fitted with check valves and pressure release valves. When
power is restored the solenoid valve resumes its normal function.

니다. (외경파악), 웨지플런저가 정면으로
이동하면 마스터죠가 바깥쪽으로 밀리고, 탑
죠는 공작물의 안쪽을 파악합니다. (내경파악)

The open-center hydraulic chuck,
HCH is model coded as below.
2-2. Construction and operation
The power chuck HCH basically
consists of a chuck body, a wedge
plunger and master jaws. The wedge
plunger and master jaws protrude so
as to engage the T-slot arranged so
as to be at an angle in relation to the
rotational center of the chuck body.
When the wedge plunger is drawn
to the rear, the master jaws are pulled
toward the center and the outside
of the work piece is gripped by the
top jaws.(O.D. chucking) When the
wedge plunger is pressed forward, the
master jaws will move outward and
the inside of the work piece is gripped
by the top jaws.(I.D.chucking)

Secure strength of drawpipe. The
gripping force is lost if the chuck
is broken because of insufficient
strength. As a result, the work piece
discharges, there by causing danger.
Insecure threads will cause the
drawbar to vibrate. Thread c, e should
be concentric within 0.05mm T.I.R.

십시오. 나사의 체결이 풀어지면 진동 또는 공
작물 비산의 원인이 됩니다. c, e의 동심도는

with chuck HCH-12 combined with
cylinder SH-19082 the total length of
the draw pipe is L=A+53=800+53=853
Thread the part ‘a’ to JIS standard 6H,
6h, 6g,corresponding to the thread of
cylinder piston rod.
Insecure threads will cause the
drawpipe to vibrate. With the thickness
of drawtube minimized, thread part ‘e’
to the aximum permissible thread dia.
For tube strength, use the material of
tensile strength of 3.8Mpa (38kg/mm)
or more. Concentricity of a and d to f
should be reduced by 0.05mm. (Fig.2)

간의 거리 A(Fig.2-1)을 정하면 결정할 수 있

예) HCH-12, SH-19082 을 조합해서
A=800일 경우 드로우 파이프 (Draw Pipe)
의 전장 L은 L=A+53=800+53=853 입니다.
a부 나사 가공은 실린더 피치 나사부와 맞추어
정확히 가공하여주십시오.(Fig.2)
나사의 접촉이 느슨하면 진동의 원인이 됩니다.
나사의 체결이 풀어지면 진동 또는 공작물 비산
의 원인이 됩니다. 드로우 파이프의 두께는 최소
한 e치수를 지키고 f부 나사 가공시는 허용 최
대 나사경을 지키십시오. 또한, 파이프의 강도
는 인장강도 3.8Mpa (38kgf/mm)이상의 재
질을 사용해야 합니다. a와 d의 f에 대한 동심도
는 0.05이하로 할 것.(Fig.2)

Tighten the mounting bolt according
to the specified torque. If tightening
torque is insuficient or too strong,
bolts are broken. Also, the workpiece
scatters, thus resulting in danger.
(Page18) Use only attached bolt. In-
crease the thickness of drawnut to
increase strength.
플런져 너트 체결볼트는 필히 규정 체결토
크로 체결하십시오. 체결 토크가 부족하거
나 너무 크면 볼트가 파손되고 척의 이탈(
비산)의 위험이 있습니다. (Page18) 이 볼
트는 특히 강도가 필요하기 때문에 부속 이
외의 볼트는 사용하지 말아 주십시오. 드로

Remove 6 bolts with a hexagon
wrench to remove the plunger nut
with the drawnut. Next, loosen the
hexagon socket set screw to remove
the drawnut. At this time, save the
steel ball(Ø5) and coil spring. Thread
the drawnut, corresponding to the
drawpipe.(Thread the drawnut so as
not exceed f-Max of the dimension
table on page18)
육각 렌치로 플런져 너트 및 드로우 너트
를 분해하십시오. 플런져 너트 외주에 있는
세트 스크류를 풀러 드로우 너트를 분리해
주십시오. 이때 강구(Steel ball) 및 코일 스
프링을 잃어버리지 않도록 주의해 주십시
오. 드로우 파이프에 맞추어 드로우 너트의
나사를 가공하십시오.(나사 체결이 느슨하
면 흔들림의 원인이 됩니다.) 드로우 너트

When mounting or removing the
chuck, lift it with the crane, using an
eyebolt or lifting belt. (For a chuck of
8 inches or less, the eyebolt is not at-
tached) Be sure to remove the eyebolt
from the chuck after mounting or re-
moving.
척을 기계에 장, 찰탁시 아이볼트 또는 이
동벨트를 사용하여 크레인으로 이동시키
십시오.
(8인치 이하의 척은 아이볼트가 없습니다.)
사용후에는 반드시 아이볼트를 제거하여
주십시오.
(1) Connect the draw pipe to the
cylinder. Screw the drawpipe into
the cylinder piston rod with the rod
retracted as far as it will go. (If it is
tightened at the intermediate
position, the locking pin of the
piston may be damaged)
(2) Mount the cylinder to the spindle.
(cylinder adaptor) Check that the
run-out of cylinder is minimized
before routing the hydrauilc piping.
Move the piston at low pressure
(0.4Mpa~0.5Mpa 4~5kgf/cm) two
or three times and set the piston
at the forward end before switching
power off.
(1) 실린더에 드로우 파이프를 부착하
여 주십시오. 실린더의 피스톤 로드에
드로우 파이프를 나사 체결할 때에는
피스톤 로드가 클램프/언클램프 상태
에서 실시하여 주십시오.(중간 위치에
서 체결하면 피스톤의 내부 가이드핀
이 파손될 수 있습니다.)
(2) 실린더를 스핀들 (실린더 아답터)
에 부착하여 주십시오. 실린더의 흔들
림을 확인하고 정상이라면 유압배관
을 설치하여 주십시오. 저압
(0.4~0.5Mpa, 4~5kgf/cm)으로
2~3회 작동하고 피스톤 로드를 전진
시킨 후 전원을 꺼주십시오.

If the drawpipe is insufficiently
screwed into the drawnut, the thread
will be damaged, thus eliminating the
gripping force momentarily. It will re-
sult danger due to discharge of work-
piece.
드로우 너트에 대하여 드로우 파이프의 체
결 길이가 부족하면 나사가 파손되어 파악
력이 일순간에 떨어져 공작물 이탈(비산)의

(3) Connect the chuck to the
drawpipe. Remove the soft jaw
and cover of the chuck to insert
the connecting handle in to the
central hole of the chuck.
Connect the chuck onto the
drawpipe, turning the drawnut.

If the connecting of the chuck and
drawpipe is difficult check the
thread. If connected by force, the
plunger will be damaged, thus
resulting in seizing.
(3) 척을 드로우 파이프에 연결합니다.
척의 소프트 죠와 커버를 떼어내고
척 핸들을 척의 중심 구멍에 삽입하
여 드로우 너트를 회전시키면서
드로우 파이프를 연결하여 주십시오.

드로우 너트와 드로우 파이프를
연결할 때, 자연스럽게 연결되지
않으면 나사부위를 확인하여 주십시
오. 무리하게 연결하면 소착의 원인
이 되어 부품이 파손됩니다.

(5) Adjust the master jaw to the
correct position. The adequate
master jaw position at the cylinder
advance end is where dinension A
from cover mounting face is shown
in the following table. (Fig.4)
At this time, Check the master jaw
standard mark is aligned to the
outer line of total stroke mark.(Fig.6)
Since the clip stop (locking system)
is provide to the draw nut, adjust
the nut where it is effectual.
(5) 마스터죠의 위치를 조절합니다.
실린더 전진단에서 마스터죠의 적정
위치는 커버부착면에서 부터의 치수
A가 아래표가 되는 위치입니다.(Fig.4)
이때, 마스터죠의 스트로크 마크가
전 스트로크 마크 외측의 선에 맞추어
있는 것을 확인해 주십시오. (Fig.6)
또 드로우 너트에는 Clip stopper
(회전멈춤장치)가 갖추어져 있어서
이 감촉이 있는 위치에서 조정완료
하도록 하여 주십시오.

Tighten chuck mounting bolts at the
specified tightening. If the tightening
torque is insufficient or too strong,
bolts will be damaged and the chuck
or workpiece may fall. Periodically
check that bolts are not loosened.
Use only attached SAMCHULLY
brand bolts. In an unavoidable case,
use bolt with strength code 12.9(M22
more than:10.9)or more and sufficient
length.
척 체결볼트는 규정체결 토크로 체결하여
주십시오.체결 토크가 부족하거나 너무 크
면 볼트가 파손되며, 척 또는 공작물이 비
산될 수 있습니다. 또 사용중 정기적으로
볼트의 체결상태를 확인하여 주십시오. 삼
천리 부속의 체결 볼트 이외에는 사용을 금
해 주십시오. 만일 다른 볼트를 사용할 경
우 강도구분 12.9(M22 이상 10.9) 이상으
로 하고 길이에 특히 주의해 주십시오.
(4) Mount the chuck to the spindle
(back plate) Turn the joint handles
so that the chuck is prorerly
attached to the spindle mounting
face of lathe. Uniformly tighten
chuck mounting bolts in the
order of 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 as shown
in Fig.5
(Uneven tightening will cause
run-out.)
(4) 척을 스핀들(척 아답터) 부착면에
부착하여 주십시오. 척 핸들을 회전
시켜 척이 선반의 스핀들 부착면에
완전히 밀착하게 해 주십시오.
척 체결볼트를 균등히 체결하여
주십시오.

It is the most desirable that the work-
piece is gripped at mid stroke of the
master jaw. To grip the workpiece
correctly, avoid gripping at stroke end
because it is danger due to discharg-
es of workpiece.(Fig.6)
For the cylinder, refer to the instruc-
tion manual.
공작물을 파악할때 마스터 죠의 스트로크
는 스트로크 범위의 중앙 및 적정 스트로
크 범위 내에서 사용하는 것이 최적으로,
구조상 안전하고 정도상으로 좋습니다. 스
트로크 끝 부분에서의 파악은 공작물 이탈
(비산)의 위험이 있으므로 피하는 것이 좋
습니다.(Fig.6)
실린더에 대해서는 실린더의 취급설명서에
따라 주십시오.
(6) Remount the cover and check
run-out of the chuck. Make
peripheral run-out and face run-
out of the chuck to 0.02mm or less.
(6) 커버 부착 후 흔들림 정도를 확인
하여 주십시오. 척의 외주 흔들림,
면 흔들림 정도는 0.02mm이하로
해주십시오.

Power Chuck
(1) When changing the top jaw,
carefully lean the serration of
master jaw.
(2) Set the hydraulic pressure
according to the shape of
workpiece and cutting conditions.
Gripping a workpiece like pipes
with high pressure, may cause
distortion.
(3) When gripping inclined or taper
parts such as casting, etc. use
special jaws with spikes so that the
workpiece will not discharge.
(4) When gripping an unbalanced
workpiece, it is necessary to set the
balance weight on the chuck so as
not vibrate or not to discharge the
workpiece at adequate speed.
(5) If the chuck or workpiece is
misused by interfering with the tool
or tool rest due to malfunction or
tape error, immediately stop the
machine and check the top jaws,
jaw mounting bolts and etc. and
gripping accuracy.
(1) 탑죠의 교환시 마스터죠 세레이션
부와 맞물림부를 깨끗이 청소해 주십시
오. 흔들림정도의 오차 원인이됩니다.
(2) 공작물의 형상, 절삭조건에 따라
유압력을 조정해 주십시오. 파이프
모양의 공작물등을 고압력으로 물렸을
경우는 소재의 변형등이 발생 될 수 있
습니다.
(3) 주물등 넓은 구배 형태의 테이퍼
형상을 파악할 때는 공작물의 형상에 맞
는 특수 죠를 제작하여 사용해
주십시오. 예) 로케이터, 인써트 등
(4) 불균형한 공작물을 파악할 경우
적정 회전속도에서 밸런스 유니트를 이
용해 진동, 공작물의 흔들림 등을 측정
하여 방지하여야 합니다.
(5) 오조작, 입력오류에 의해 척 또는
공작물과 공구, 공구대 충돌이 발생 하
였을 때는 즉시, 회전을 멈추고
탑죠, 마스터죠, 죠 체결볼트 등에
이상이 없는지 확인하고 또 파악력
등을 확인하여 주십시오.
Machine the unbalanced workpiece
at a low speed because the centrifu-
gal force by the eccentricity mass of
work is applied onto the jaw.
If top jaws other than SAMCHULLY
brand are used, the master jaws may
be distorted, resulting in gripping
failure. As a result, the workpiece dis-
charges therby causing danger. Do
not use the top jaw in which serration
pitch differs from the master jaw. If
the workpiece is gripping with serra-
tion insufficient engaged, the serra-
tion is broken. At this time, the jaw or
workpiece discharges thus resulting
in danger Before machining, run with
low speed to check that the top jaws,
locator or workpiece does not inter-
fere with the tool or tool holder.
When gripping a long workpiece, use
the tailstock or steady rest. If extruded
length of workpiece is too long, it dis-
charges thus resulting in danger.
When it does not work the machine
for a long period of time, remove the
workpiece from the chuck.
불균형량이 큰 공작물의 경우, 공작물의 편
심 질량에 의해 원심력이 죠에 영향을 주
므로 필히 낮은 회전속도로 가공하여 주
십시오.
심천리 이외의 탑죠를 사용하면 조립상
태가 고르지 못하므로 마스터 죠에 변형
이 생겨 파악정도 불량 및 파악력 부족등
으로 공작물 비산의 위험이 있습니다. (유
사품 주의)
마스터죠와 세레이션 피치가 같은 탑죠를
사용하여 주십시오. 세레이션 산의 물림이
부족하면 공작물을 파악할때에 세레이션
산이 파손되고 죠 또는 공작물이 비산될 위
험이 있습니다.
작업개시전, 탑죠, 로케이터 또는 공작물
이 공구 또는 공구대등과 간섭되지 않도
록 하고 저속 회전으로 확인한 후 가공하
여 주십시오.
긴 공작물을 파악한 경우에는 반드시 심압
대나 방진구 등을 사용하시고 자유단을 확
실히 지지하여 주십시오. 긴 공작물을 가공
할 때 비산의 위험이 있습니다.
기계를 장시간 정지시킬 경우 공작물을 척
으로부터 제거시켜 주십시오.
