Electricsafety

Batterysafety
1. Highambienttemperatureshortensthebatter’slifetimes,sothebatteryshouldbereplaced
periodicallytoensurenormalUPS operation and foradequateautonomytime.
2.Servicing ofbattery shouldbeperformed orsupervisedby personnelknowledgeableofbattery.
3. Inreplacementofbattery, pleaseusethesamenumberandtypeofbattery.
4.Abatterycanpresentariskofelectricalshockandhigh shortcircuitcurrent.Thefollowing
precautionshouldbeobserved whenworkingonbatteries.

A.Removewatches, rings, orothermetalobjectfromthehands;
B. Usetoolswithinsulatedhandles;
C.Wearrubberglovesand boots;
D. Do notlaytoolsormetalpartsontopofbatteries;
E. Disconnecttheload beforeoperatetheterminalofbattery.
5. Do notdisposeofbatteriesinafireasthey mayexplode.
6. Donotopenormutilatethebattery. Itmaycauseanelectrolyteleakagethatistoxicand
harmfultotheskin andeyes. Ifelectrolytecomesintocontactwiththeskin, wash theaffected
areawithplentyofcleanwaterimmediatelyand goto thehospitalforacheck.
7. Donotmakethepositiveand negativeterminalsofthebatteryshortcircuit; otherwiseit may
causeelectricshockorfire.
Maintenance
1.Theoperatingenvironmentandstoragemethod aretwomainfactorsaffectingthelifetime
andreliabilityoftheUPS.Hence,itisadvisablenotusethedevice inthefollowing environments:
●Wherethetemperatureandrelativehumidityareoutsidethespecifications(temperature:
0℃～40℃, relativehumidity:20%～90%.
●Wherevibrationsorshocksareexisting.
●Dust,corrosiveagentsorsaltsorinflammablegasarepresent.
2.IftheUPSwillremainidleforalongperiod, it mustbestoredinadryenvironment.The
storagetemperatureshouldrangebetween －25℃～＋ 55℃(withoutbattery).Maketheam-
bienttemperatureover0℃and keepaperiodoftimebeforepoweron theUPS.
