CA-6 SATEL 3
The zones (input ines) can perform the fo owing functions in the system:
00 – exit/entry – the vio ation of which, when in the armed mode, wi start countdown of the entry
de ay time and wi enab e the de ay for INTERIOR DELAY type zones (vio ation of an
INTERIOR DELAY zone without prior vio ation of the ENTRY/EXIT zone wi trigger an
a arm immediate y). Upon vio ation, a “zone vio ation” code is sent to the report station
(it is possib e to skip sending this message), and, after counting down the "entry de ay
time" and triggering the a arm – a “zone a arm” code. The "entry de ay" countdown can be
signa ed in the keypad. It is possib e to define automatica y bypassing zones if no
ENTRY/EXIT zone is vio ated during the exit de ay time. Because of its additiona
functions, this zone type cannot be used as a common zone for both partitions.
01 – delayed – when vio ated in the armed mode, it starts de ay countdown, after which an a arm is
triggered. It wi not occur if the zone is disarmed before comp etion of the de ay
countdown. Upon vio ation, a “zone vio ation” code is sent to the report station, after
counting down the entry de ay time and triggering the a arm – a “zone a arm” code.
The de ay is not signa ed in the keypads.
02 – interior delayed – when vio ated in the armed mode after previous vio ation of the
ENTRY/EXIT zone, it behaves ike a DELAY zone. When vio ated in the armed mode
without previous vio ation of the ENTRY/EXIT zone, it behaves ike an INSTANT zone.
03 – instant – when vio ated in the armed mode, it immediate y triggers an a arm and sends a ”zone
a arm” message to the monitoring station.
04 – day/night – when vio ated in the armed mode, it behaves ike an INSTANT zone, whi e when
disarmed, it wi signa vio ation in the keypad (un ess function is disab ed – FS20, second
set, option 3) and send a “zone vio ation” code to the station.
05 – counting L1 – when vio ated in the armed mode, it increases the status of the first of three
vio ation counters (a “zone vio ation” code is sent to the station), unti the number of
vio ations specified for that counter is exceeded (programming in FS7). Then the vio ation
triggers an a arm (a ”zone a arm” code is sent to the report station). By defau t, the count-
up time is set at 30 seconds. It is possib e to program another counter count-up time
(FS123). If the preset number of vio ations is not reached within this time, it wi be reset.
The next zone vio ation wi start the add-up procedure a over again. The vio ations are
added up starting from zero, and the count-up time starts upon the first vio ation after
resetting the counter. The "counting L1" function can be assigned to more than one zone,
in that case vio ations of those zones wi be summed up. The zone wi trigger an a arm
upon exceeding the programmed number of vio ations added up by a given counter.
A arm can a so be triggered after resetting the counting zone counter, if the zone
associated with the given counter is sti vio ated.
06 – counting L2 – operation identica as for the "counting L1", but changes the status of the
second of the three counters.
07 – counting L3 – operation identica as for the "counting L1", but changes the status of the third
of the three counters.
08 – 24H audible – armed a the time, irrespective of whether the partition it is assigned to is
armed, or not. Each vio ation of this zone wi trigger a arm on the “burg ary a arm” type
outputs, in the keypad and wi send a “zone a arm” code. It makes possib e to create
tamper circuits and panic buttons.
09 – 24H auxiliary – armed a the time, irrespective of whether the partition it is assigned to is
armed, or not. Each vio ation of this zone wi trigger an a arm in the keypad and wi send
a “zone a arm” code. It is intended for connecting detectors such as gas or f ood sensors,
etc.
10 – 24H silent – armed a the time, irrespective of whether the partition it is assigned to is armed,
or not. Vio ation of this zone wi on y send a “zone a arm” code to the monitoring station.
11 – 24H fire – armed a the time, irrespective of whether the partition it is assigned to is armed,
or not; intended for the fire detectors.
