• Replacefuseorcircuitbreakerandswitchon.Your
lightisnowreadyforuse.
Commissioning
• Pleasenotethattheunitwillnotilluminatein
emergencymodeuntilthemainshasbeenswitched
onandsubsequentlyfailed.
• Restorethemainssupplyforatleast30minutesand
thenturnitoff.TheLEDlampshouldilluminateforat
least30seconds.
• SwitchontheMainsSupplyandnotetheindicator
LEDsonthesideoftheunithaveilluminated.This
indicatesthattheunitisoperatingcorrectlye.g.the
lampcontinuityiscorrectandthatthebatteryisbeing
charged.
• TheunithasbuiltinHighDischargeProtectionand
thisshouldoperatewhenthebatteryvoltagefailsto
approximately8VDC,whilstinemergencymode

Existingfittingsmustbecompletelyremovedbefore
installationofanewproduct.Beforeremovingthe
existingfitting,carefully note the position of each set
of wires.
• Undothetwoscrewsthatholdthefrontcoverand
removethelidbyliftingandslidingitout.
• Holdtheproductinpositionandmarkthelocationof
thethreefixingholes.Drillholesandfitsuppliedwall
plugs(suitableformasonryonly-forothersurfaces
useappropriatefixings).Fixproducttothewallusing
thesuppliedscrews.Takecaretoavoiddamaging
anyconcealedwiringandpipes.

oftheproductandfeedtheincomingsupplycable
throughit.
