2Introduction
The Easy Train MYO isamobiledual-channelEMG biofeedback device, whichissupplied
withpre-defined therapyprogramsfordifferent indications, wireless connection tocomputervia
Bluetoothand withamemory function viaamemory card. All parameterscan be adjusted indi-
viduallybythe therapist.
The deviceismade for2different operation modes:
· Setup mode
· Therapymode
Inthe setup mode it ispossibletochange the parameterofthe different programs.
Inthe therapymode, the therapist hasthe chancetolock the best-suited programforthe pa-
tient. Viaauserfriendlyoperation the patient can start the therapyon his/herown.
Tochange fromone mode tothe othermode, press the keys 4+ a(START +OK) simulta-
neously.
2.1Setup mode(interactive operation)
· The deviceissupplied inthe setup mode. Inthis
operation mode, the desired therapyisselected
bymeansofthe keys 5/6(SELECT).
· Afterwards, the interactiveEMG recording with
the given parameterscan be started bypressing
the key 4(START).
· Parameterscan be adjusted bypressing the key
r(STOP/ GO BACK) and using the keys 5/6
(SELECT)and a(OK), wherebythe effect on
the feedback signalcan be checked at anytime
bypressing the key 4(START).
Inthismode, all parameterscan be set manuallyand thereisno limit forthe therapytime.
Session datacan be read back and deleted. Statisticdata, however, arenot recorded.
Moreover, the EMG displayrange can be adjusted manuallyinthe setup mode during the re-
cording bymeansofthe doublekeyfunction 4+ 5/6(START +SELECT), and the specified
target can be adjusted bymeansofthe keys 5/6(SELECT).
2.2Therapymode(course oftherapy)
By changing tothe therapymode, parameterswhichhavebeen selected inthe setup mode are
taken overforthe courseoftherapy. What followsisthe request fordeleting the preceding
session data, whichcan be confirmed bypressing the key a(OK) orignored bypressing the
key r(STOP).

havefrequenciesless than 10 Hz, that isthe cut-off fre-

4Therapyprograms
Anyparametersofthe therapyprogramscan be adjusted individually, wherebythe last input is
saved automatically. Areset tothe basicvaluesispossibleat anytime.
Statisticdataofthe sessions(numberoftimes, totalduration and average value)arerecorded
continuouslyand can be reset ifnecessary.
4.1Relaxation:
EMG relaxation training hasaadaptivetarget guide mechanism. Afteradetermination ofthe
basicvalue (baseline), the average value istaken astarget value forthe relaxation training.
Due toafrequent exceeding ofthe target line, thiscausesadisplacement ofthisline indirec-
tion tothe therapytarget afteragiven time. Thisrepeatsautomaticallyuntil the pre-set end of
the therapysession isreached.
4.2Balance:
Balanceprogramhasdual-channelsymmetry training withdoublebargraph representation.
Thisisacombined training forbalancing asymmetries, wherebythe target guide mechanism
motivatestorelaxat the sametime. The sizeofthe bargraphscorrespondstothe respective
muscleactivation, wherebythe acousticfeedback forthe left and the right channelcomesup in
the headphonesseparately.
4.3EMG monitor:
Monitorfunction withalarmcontrolfortarget value and delayvalue. Thismonitorfunction is
especiallysuitableforcontrolling muscularoverload aswell asforrehabilitativepurposein
ordertosignalizethe training success clearly. The target value aswell asthe responsedelay
can be pre-set individually.

automaticallyisreplaced inthe therapymode.
