About This Manual
It is important for you to understand your new scooter.
By reading this manual before you go out on your rst ride, you’ll
know how to get beer performance, comfort, and enjoyment from
your new scooter. It is also important that your rst ride on your
new scooter is taken in a controlled environment, away from cars,
obstacles and cyclists.
This manual contains important informaon regarding safety,
assembly, use, and maintenance of the scooter but is not intended
to be a complete or comprehensive manual covering all aspects
concerning scooter ownership. We recommend consulng an
expert if you have any doubts or concerns regarding your
experience or ability to properly assemble and maintain the scooter.
A Special Note For Parents and Guardians
As a parent or guardian, you bear the responsibility for the acvies
and safety of your minor child. Among these responsibilies are to
make sure that the scooter which your child is riding is properly
ed to the child; that it is in safe operang condion; that you and
your child have learned, understand and obey not only the
applicable local motor vehicle, scooter, and trac laws, but also the
common sense rules of safe and responsible scoong. As a parent,
you should read this manual before leng your child ride the
scooter. Please make sure that your child always wears an approved
helmet when riding.

damage to property, injury, or death.
This manual contains many Warnings and Cauons concerning the
consequences of failure to follow safety warnings. Because any fall
can result in serious injury or even death, we do not repeat the
warning of possible injury or death whenever the risk of falling is
menoned.

• Do not to modify unit from original design and conguraon.
• Before each use, check to conrm: That all guards and pads are
in place and in serviceable condion; That the area that the unit
is to be operated in is safe and suitable for safe operaon; That
the braking system is funconing properly; That all safety labels
are in place and understood by the operator; That any and all
axle guards, chain guards, or other covers or guards are in place
and in serviceable condion; and That res are in good
condion and have sucient tread remaining.
• Do not perform racing, stunt riding, or other maneuvers, which
may cause loss of control, or may cause uncontrolled acons
or reacons.
• Do not allow hands, feet, hair, body parts, clothing, or similar
arcles to come in contact with moving parts, wheels, or
drivetrain, while the motor is running.
• The owner shall allow the use and operaon of the unit aer a
demonstraon that such operators can understand and operate
all components of the unit before use.
• Obey all local trac and scooter riding laws and regulaons.
• Do not ride at night. Operate only with adequate daylight
condions of visibility.
• Persons with the following condions shall be cauoned not to
operate: Those with heart condions; pregnant women; persons
with head, back, or neck ailments, or prior surgeries to those
areas of the body; and persons with any mental or physical
condions that may make them suscepble to injury or impair
their physical dexterity or mental capabilies to recognize,
understand, and perform all of the safety instrucons and to be
able to assume the hazards inherent in unit use.
• Always wear safety equipment such as helmet, knee pads, and
elbow pads. Always wear a helmet when riding your scooter and
keep the chinstrap securely buckled. Always wear shoes.
• Wear proper riding are, reecve if possible, and avoid open
toe shoes.
• Avoid sharp bumps, drainage grates, and sudden surface changes.
• Avoid streets and surfaces with water, sand, gravel, dirt, leaves,
and other debris. Wet weather impairs tracon, braking, and
visibility.
• Never allow more than one rider.

Riding a scooter without protecve gear, clothing, shoes, or a
helmet may result in serious injury or death. Always wear
protecve gear, clothing, and helmet when riding the scooter.
Ensure protecve gear does not interfere with steering,
or braking.

Protecve Gear and Clothing
Always wear:
• Colors that are easily seen and, if possible, reecve clothing.
• Clothing appropriate for the weather condions.
• Always wear shoes
• Use of protecve gear such as pads for the knees and elbows is
highly recommended for children.
• A properly ed helmet that complies with ASTM or SNELL
helmet standards.
Do not wear:
• Loose clothing parts, strings, or jewelry that may become
entangled with moving parts on the scooter or interfere with
handling of the scooter.
• Shoes with uned shoe laces
Personal Safety Helmet Use
Important! Many states have passed helmet laws regarding
children. Make sure you know your states helmet laws. It is your
job to enforce these rules with your children. Even if your state
does not have a children’s helmet law, it is recommended that
everyone wear a properly ed helmet that complies with ASTM
or SNELL helmet standards.
The correct helmet should:
• Be comfortable
• Have good venlaon
• Fit correctly
• Cover forehead

Baery Warnings
WARNING!
• Liquids on the baery may cause re or electric shock.
Always keep all liquids away from the baery and keep
the baery dry.
• Stop using the scooter if the baery begins to emit odor,
overheats, or begins to leak. Do not touch any leaking
materials or breath fumes emied.
• Seek immediate medical assistance if you are exposed
to any substance that is emied from the baery.
• This baery contains dangerous substances. Never
open the baery or insert anything into the baery.
• Lithium-Ion baeries are considered hazardous
materials. Please follow all local, state, and federal laws
regards to recycling, handling, and disposing of Lithium-
Ion baeries.
• Do not expose scooter, baeries, or baery pack to
excessive heat, such as prolonged direct sunlight or
open ame.
• Never store at freezing temperatures. Freezing will
permanently damage the baery.
Risk of Fire: No User Serviceable Electric Parts. The following safety
hazards may result in serious injury or death to the user of the
scooter:
• Use of a baery or charger other than the supplied
Schwinn rechargeable baeries and charger may cause a
re or explosion. Only use the supplied Schwinn
rechargeable baery and charger with the scooter.
• Using the Schwinn rechargeable baeries and charger for
any other product may result in overheang, re or
explosion. Never use the Schwinn rechargeable baeries
with another product.
• Tampering or modifying the electric circuit system may
cause a shock, re or explosion and permanently damage
the system. Exposed wiring, circuitry in the charger may
cause electric shock. Always keep the charger housing
closed.
• Charge the baery in a well-venlated area. Do not
charge the baery near heat or ammable materials.
• Contact between the posive and negave terminals
may result in re or explosion. Avoid direct contact
between the terminals. Picking up the baery by the
wires or charger can cause damage to the baery and
may result in a re. Always pick up the baery by its case
or handles.

Aach the Handlebar Grips
❶ Place a washer over the ends of each handlebar grip.
❷ Twist each handlebar grip into the openings on each side of the
control panel. Note: the handlebar grips are labeled R for right
and L for the le grip.
❹ Ensure the folding handle is locked by pushing the handle
forward towards the frame.
Tip! To fold your scooter again aer use, place your foot on
the rear brake while pulling the folding lever down to assist in
folding scooter.

Important
Before you ride:
• Check that the brake lever works
• Check all of the locking nuts are firmly
tightened
• Check the tires are filled at the proper
air pressure of 36 PSI
