3. MOUNTING/ASSEMBLY
p
p
WARNING! Ensure the hose is disconnected from the air supply. Do not position the hose in direct sun light or in areas of
extreme heat or cold.
3.1. To wall mo nt the reel first remove the wall mo nting bracket from the reel by releasing and withdrawing the two bracket pivots.
(Refer to items 11 on the parts diagram for the SA892.V3 & SA893.V3 and to items 7 on the parts diagram for SA894 & SA895.) To
release the pivots remove the casing screws which pass directly thro gh each pivot. ( The pivots for SA894 & SA895 are each
retained by two screws.)
pWARNING! DO NOT remove any other casing screws.
3.2. Fix the bracket in an appropriate position ens ring that the wall and the mo nting screws and pl gs will adeq ately s pport the
weight of the reel and the tension of the hose as it is p lled from the reel.
3.3. Re-attach the reel to the bracket ens ring that the pivots are correctly inserted and retained by the casing screws.
3.4. Ens re that the hose can be p lled o t to, and reeled back from, work sites witho t r bbing on the sides of the cable entry.
4.1. Extending the hose.
4.1.1. As the hose is p lled o t from the reel the action of the ratchet mechanism can be heard alternating between the s al clicking so nd and a
short period of silence. If the tension on the hose is released whilst the ratchet is clicking the hose will remain extended. If the tension on the
hose is released d ring silent operation the hose will retract. To stop the hose retracting p ll it o t again a little ntil yo hear the ratchet clicking.
4.2. Retracting the hose.
4.2.1. To release the hose and allow it to a tomatically rewind, p ll the hose o t from the locked position ntil the clicking stops and then release
the tension on the hose. Do not let go of the hose b t keep hold of it and g ide the end back to the reel.
pWARNING! The reel tension is factory set, if any adj stment is req ired contact an a thorised service agent. DO NOT remove any of
