Installation:
1.
Select the l
ocation where the sensor will be ounted.
The sensor should be ounted to the
underside of a ailbox flap.
2. Use the included adhesive strip to ount the sensor.
3. When the ailbox flap is in its neutral/closed position, turn the sensor adjust ent until the arrow
is aligned with the white area.
4. Open the ailbox flap to the desired actuation angle and ensure that the arrow is pointing into
the red activation area.

instructions for the RA

VPQ wireless receiver
to enter pairing ode. (Refer to the RA-4961-K1Q or RA-4961-VPQ anual for further pairing
instructions.)
2. Trigger the sensor for pairing by lifting the ailbox flap so that the arrow on the sensor
adjust ent oves out of the white area and into the red trigger area.
3. The receiver will beep once and cycle to the next channel to confir successful pairing.
Resetting the Sensor:
1.
To reset the receiver infor ation, press the reset button on the front of the sensor.
2. After the reset button has been pressed, the sensor will not be able to send a signal for five
seconds.
Simple Reset
1.
If a si ple reset does not resolve any issues, a hard reset ay be necessary.
2. Re ove the battery fro the sensor.
3. Place the battery back into the sensor while holding down the reset button for five seconds.
4. The LED on the receiver will flash five ti es and the sensor will be reset.
Note: A hard reset will reset the pairing code and the device will need to be paired again.

1.
Using
a screwdriver, re ove the screw
fro the
front of the sensor and re ove the cover.
2. Place a 12V/23A battery (included) in the battery
co part ent, aking sure to observe correct
polarity.
3. Replace the cover and screw.
