back of your TV to determine
which screw diameter (M6,
or M8) to use.

1.3 Attach TV Brackets
Ensure that your brackets are level and centered as much as possible on the back of the TV.
CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injuries and property damage! DO NOT use power tools for this step. Tighten the screws only enough
to secure the TV bracket to the TV. DO NOT overtighten the screws.
IMPORTANT: Ensure TV bracket is securely fastened before moving on to the next step.

STEP 2A Wood Stud Option
CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injuries and property damage!
ƕDrywall covering the wall must not exceed 5/8 in. (16 mm)
ƕMinimum wood stud size: common 2 x 4 in. (51 x 102 mm) nominal 1½ x 3½ in. (38 x 89 mm)
ƕMinimum horizontal space between fasteners: 16 in. (406 mm)
ƕStud center must be verified
1. Locate your stud. Verify and mark the center of the stud by finding the stud edges using an awl, a thin nail, or an edge to edge stud finder.
2. Position the wall plate assembly 09 at your desired height and line up the holes with your stud center line. Level the wall plate assembly 09
and mark the four hole locations.

3. Drill the four pilot holes using a 7/32 in. (5.5 mm) diameter drill bit.
IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 2 ¾ in. (70 mm). Be sure you mark and drill into the center of the stud.
4. Install wall plate assembly 09 . Tighten lag bolts 11 only until the washers 10 are pulled firmly against the wall plate assembly 09 .
CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. To avoid potential injuries or property damage Do not over-
tighten the lag bolts

Solid Concrete or Concrete Block Option
CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injuries and property damage!
ƕMount the wall plate assembly 09 directly onto the concrete surface
ƕMinimum solid concrete thickness: 8 in. (203 mm)
ƕMinimum concrete block size: 8 x 8x 16 in. (203 x 203 x 406 mm)
ƕMinimum horizontal space between fasteners: 16 in. (406 mm)
1. Position the wall plate 09 on the wall at your desired height. Level the wall plate 09 and mark the hole locations.
2. Drill four pilot holes using a 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter masonry drill bit.
IMPORTANT: Pilot holes must be drilled to a depth of 3 in. (75 mm). Never drill into the mortar between blocks.

3. Insert four anchors 12 .
CAUTION: Be sure the anchors are seated flush with the concrete surface.
4. Install wall plate 09 using four lag bolts 11 and three washers 10 . Tighten the lag bolts only until the washers are pulled firmly against
the wall plate.
CAUTION: Improper use could reduce the holding power of the lag bolt. To avoid potential injuries or property damage Do not over-
tighten the lag bolts

3. Secure the TV brackets 01 to the arm assembly 09 with locking screws 13 .
CAUTION: Avoid potential personal injury or property damage! locking screws 13 must be tightened to secure the TV to the
arm assembly 09 .

TV Adjustments
TILT ADJUSTMENT
To adjust the tilt level of your TV, loosen the tilt adjustment screws, using
hex key 14 , on both sides of the arm assembly, adjust the TV to the
desired tilt angle and retighten the tilt adjustment screws.
NOTE: Once your TV is in place, tighten the tilt adjustment screws
to prevent unwanted movement.
REMOVING THE TV
To remove your TV from the arm assembly
09 , disconnect all cables and then reverse
the procedures in STEP 3.

-Warranty
against defects
Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd warrants its Milestone/Secura products to be free
of
defects
in
material
and workmanship for the product's Warranty Period. The Warranty Period commences
on
the original purchase date
of the product.
The Milestone/Secura Warranty Period is:
Five (5) years for metal video monitor mounts.
For the avoidance
of
doubt,
in
order for you to be entitled to claim under this Warranty, you must lodge your
claim within the relevant period specified above.
Important Legal Notice
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled
to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonable foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be
of
acceptable quality
and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
This warranty does not change or take away your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Your right to claim
under this policy for the benefits covered is
in
addition to other rights and remedies you have under the law
in
relation to the product.
The product must be used strictly
in
compliance with the manufacturer's instructions. This Warranty extends only
to the original purchaser
of
the product and
is
automatically void if your Milestone/Secura product
is
modified
in
any way, improperly installed, taxed beyond its stated weight capacity or otherwise misused or abused. All
Milestone/Secura products are intended for indoor use only and any outdoor use voids this Limited Warranty.
The Limited Warranty for wall and ceiling mounts
is
void if the mount
is
moved from its initial installation. To the
maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd disclaims any other
warranties, express
or
implied, including warranties
of
fitness for a particular purpose and warranties
of
merchantability.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd will not be liable for
any damages whatsoever arising out
of
the use or inability to use its products, even if Milestone AV Technologies
Australia Pty Ltd has been advised
of
the possibility
of
such damages. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable
law, Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd disclaims any responsibility for incidental or consequential damages.
If the claim falls within the warranty, Milestone AV Technologies Australia Pty Ltd will remedy any defects
in
materials
or workmanship becoming apparent during the Warranty Period, by replacing or repairing any defective product or
component (at its option) free
of
charge to the purchaser
in
respect
of
replacement parts or labour.
For warranty claims made during the Warranty Period you must as soon as practicable return your product to the
retailer from which you purchased it or call Milestone

In
such circumstances the cost of doing this
will be borne by you. Where we determine that the product or component
is
not covered by the warranty we will
return
it
to you at your expense.
