When an error occurs in the toilet you will receive a message on the display. Below are some
examples of error codes that may come up and what you should go to correct them. A more
detailed list and information can be found at www.separett.com
Fan stopped / The fan does not start
1. Check to see that nothing has got caught up in the fan
2. Check through the exhaust air outlet on the back of the toilet that the fan blades rotate freely
3. Try cleaning the fan with the brush
Incineration time maximized
The incineration has been going for more than six hours since the last program selection. Restart
the toilet by turning o the power switch and then turning it on again.
No power / No main power
1. Check that the power cord is in the wall socket and that the switch have been turned on
2. Check that there is power at the wall socket. Check fuses and residual-current circuit breaker
in
3. Check all three fuses on the circuit board. The best troubleshooting is to measure incoming
current and see how far it goes
4. Check that the switch and cords are undamaged and working
Temperature outlet air / The ventilation temperature is too high
1. Let the fan cool down the toilet
2. Check that the ash pan is in the correct position and that the handle has been turned to the
right
3. Check that the installation has been carried out correctly and that the ventilation is working
4. Check that the lid of the incineration chamber opens and closes as it should when the ush
handle is pressed down
Heating time up / The temperature in the incinirating chamber is not increasing
1. Check whether the overheating protection has been triggered
2. Check that the ash pan is in the correct position and that the handle has been turned to the
right
3. Restart the toilet by turning the switch o and then turning it on again
Overheat protect or element
The overheating protection has been triggered or the element needs to be replaced. See instruc-
tions at page 23.
Troubleshooting
LANGUAGE
Change the language used in the toilet. Conrm that you want to change the language with the
circle, then switch between dierent languages using the arrows. When you have found the right
language, conrm with circle.
ASHPAN EMTIED
If you choose to empty the ashpan before you get the reminder from the toilet you have the pos-
sibility to reset the counter, so that you stay in phase with the message.
Once you have emptied the ashpan, you go to “ASHPAN EMPTIED” and conrm it with the circle
button, you will then get the following question “ASHES EMTIED?”, conrm with YES or NO.
ASHPAN INTERVALL
After a specic number of uses the toilet will remind you to emty the ashpan. The default value is
that the message is shown after 50 ushes. Here you can adjust this number up or down.
NOTE! The message is only a reminder! It’s always the user’s responsibility to make sure to empty
the ashpan before it is full.
DEFAULT SETTINGS
If you wish to reset the following values you do it under default settings:
– ASHPAN INTERVALL (50)
– ADJUST BIG (40)
– ADJUST SMALL (15)
CLOSE MENU
Press circle to close the menu.

If you press INFO when in the ready-mode, you will be able to see the following values:
• PROG. - shows you which software that is installed in the toilet
• TOTAL TIME - shows you the number of hours that the current heating element in your toilet
has been running.
• FLUSH.LEFT - shows you how many ushes that is left before the reminder for emptying the
ashpan is shown on the display
