FDCL181 LineSeparator isused todetect andisolatetheshort-circuit part oftheFD18-
BUS. Isolatorsare connected toprevent different branchesfrombreakingdownat the
sametimeduetoashort circuit.

1. Determinethetype ofinstallation: there are 2typesof
installationfor FDCL181 isolator:
Installationoutside aswitchingcabinet or acontrolunit:
useFDCH221 housing(Fig. 3) .
Installationdirectlyinaswitchingcabinet or acontrol
unit: mount themoduleonanevensurface(Fig.2).

1. Openthehousing.
2. Determinethecableentriesinthehousingandbreak
theseopen.
3. Usetwoscrews(M 4) tofit thehousingonaplane
surface(Fig. 3). Distancebetweenholes: 182.0±1.0mm.
4. Fixandguide inthecableswithwaterproofjoint
(provided byusersthemselves).
5. Fixthelidadditionallywithfourscrews(Fig. 4).(Onl

2. FixmodulewithtwoscrewsM4X15 (Fig. 2). Distance
betweenholes: 63.5±1.0mm.
