1 General information
These instructions describe the maintenance of the MammoReportPlus system.
All maintenance should be carried out on a yearly basis.
All maintenance performed must be checked off in the MammoReportPlus Maintenance
Protocol (SPB7- 420.832.20...).
1.1 Safety Information
The product specific safety information contained in this document, as well as the general
safety information must be observed.
The general ESD guidelines must be observed. (Refer to document ARTD-001.709.01...)
1.2 Training
The training required is described in the document Field Service Strategy
(SPB7-420.890.10...).
1.3 Documents required

Approximately 2 - 2.5 hours for one CSE.

The work steps in this document that are identified by these abbreviations should be
checked off in the Maintenance Protocol (SPB7-420.832.20...).
DANGER indicates when there is an immediate danger that leads
to death or serious physical injury.
WARNING indicates a risk of danger that may lead to death or to
serious physical injury.
CAUTION used with the safety alert symbol indicates a risk of
danger that leads to slight or moderate physical injury and/or
damage to property.
NOTICE used without the safety alert symbol indicates a risk of
danger that if disregarded leads or may lead to a potential situa-
tion which may result in an undesirable result or state other than
death, physical injury or damage to property.
NOTE contains information provided with special emphasis to
facilitate proper use of the equipment or proper execution of a
procedure, i.e. hints, tips.

2 Hardware maintenance
2.1 Computer
•Remove the computer access panel, refer to Fig. 1.
PM Check of fans
•Visually check that the two fans that are cooling the processors are working properly.
The air should flow from front to back.
•Visually check that the power supply fan works properly. The air should flow from front to
back.
•Listen to the noise of the fans. Does it sound ok?
•Shut down the operating system properly and turn off the computer and any external
devices.
•Disconnect the power supply cable.
High Voltage!
Life-threatening electric shock hazard exists.
Do not touch computer components until the power supply cable
has been disconnected.
The computer contains electrostatic highly sensitive components
requiring particular care in their handling.
Risk of damaging components.
Be sure to follow the ESD guidelines. When cleaning, make sure
that no cleaning liquid penetrates into the equipment.

PM Fans - cleaning
•Clean dust from all fans.
PM Check internal cables and plugs
•Check that all internal cables are properly connected to the devices.
PM Cleaning
•If necessary, clean dust from the computer cabinet.
•Reinstall the computer access panel and connect the power supply cable.
2.2 Cables
PM Check that cables are not squeezed or broken
•Check that the cables are neither squeezed nor broken; if they are, they must be
replaced.
PM Check all external cable connections
•Check that all external cables are properly connected.
PM Safe cable run
•Check that all cables are placed in such a way that no one will trip over them.
2.3 Keyboard and mouse
PM Keyboard - cleaning
•Use a damp cloth to clean dust from the keyboard.
PM Mouse - operational check
•Check that the mouse is operational.
PM Mouse - cleaning
•Open the mouse and clean the rolls inside the housing.
•Clean the external surface of the mouse.
2.4 Monitors
PM Desktop placement
•Ensure that the two high resolution monitors are safely placed on the workstation table.
•Ensure that the service monitor is safely placed on a side table.
PM Cleaning
•Clean the housing of the two high resolution monitors and the service monitor with a
damp cloth.
•Wipe the glass with a cloth moistened with a lukewarm aqueous solution of mild
detergent.

QIQ Calibration of High resolution monitors
The two High resolution monitors must be calibrated every year.
•Perform calibration according to the MammoReportPlus System Manual Calibration of
Monitors (SPB7- 420.820.20...)
•Check calibration according to the MammoReportPlus Quality Control Manual (SPB7-
420.621.20 ...).
