PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The RS485 RTS transmitter is a motor controller which allows to manage all your Somfy
RTS applications with the same centralized home control system.
It can control up to 16 groups of SOMFY RTS motors and receivers.
It is impossible to set a motor or a receiver with this RS485 RTS transmitter.
The RS485 RTS transmitter is for internal use only.
ENVIRONMENT
Damaged electric products and batteries should not be disposed of with
normal household waste.
Make sure to drop them in specially provided containers or at an authori-
zed organization that will ensure they are recycled.

COMMISSIONING
Before assign a product to the transmitter,
this product must be set.
Assign a product with a RS485 control
1) Press the programming button on the
back of the RTS control point or the RTS
receiver until the motor jogs.
The product is in programming mode.
2) Send by the RS485 control, the
corresponding RTS frame on the desired
channel.
The product is assigned to the transmitter’s
channel with a motor jog.
Assign a product with a DRY CONTACT
control
1) Select the RTS adress on the Channel
selector corresponding to dry contact
connectors.
- The dry contact connector n°1 has per
default, the RTS address n°1
- The dry contact connector n°2 has per
default, the RTS address n°2
- .......
- .......
- The dry contact connector n°5 has per
default, the RTS address n°5
2) Press the programming button on the
back of the RTS control point or the RTS
receiver until the motor jogs.
The product is in programming mode.
3) Press the programming button on the
RS485 RTS transmitter until the motor jogs.
The product is assigned to the transmitter.

USE
Dry contact
Up, Down,Stop and My
Up
Press the Up button of the control
Down
Press the Down button of the control
Stop / My
Press the Stop button of the control.
If the product move, it will stop.
If the product don’t move, the product
goes to the My position (if a My position is
recorded).
My position
1) Recording My position.
To set the My position, move the
product to the desired position with the
UP and DOWN buttons then press the
My button until the shade jogs or the light
blink.
2) Changing the My position
To change the My position go to the
new desired My position with the UP
and DOWN buttons then press the My
button until the product jogs or the light
blink.
3) Delete the My position
To delete the MY position, move to this
position and press the My button until
the product jogs or the light blink.

DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Le RS485 RTS transmitter est un contrôleur de moteur qui permet de piloter toutes vos
applications Somfy RTS depuis le même systeme de contrôle.
Il peut contrôler jusqu’a 16 groupes de moteur ou de récepteur SOMFY RTS.
Il est impossible de régler un moteur ou un récepteur avec le RS485 RTS transmitter.
Le RS485 RTS transmitter est pour un usage interne uniquement.
ENVIRONNEMENT
Les produits électriques et électroniques endommagés tout comme les
piles usagées ne doivent pas être jetés avec les ordures ménagères.
Veiller à les déposer dans un point de collecte ou dans un centre agréé
an de garantir leur recyclage.

MISE EN SERVICE
Avant d’affecter un produit à un émetteur, ce
produit doit être réglé.
Affecter un produit avec un point de
commande RS485
1) Appuyer sur de bouton de programmation
du point de commande RTS ou du récep-
teur RTS jusqu’au va-et-vient du produit.
Le produit est en mode programmation.
2) Envoyer par le point de commande
RS485 la trame RTS correspondante sur le
canal souhaité.
Le produit est assigné au canal souhaité et
réalise un va-et vient.
Affecter un produit avec un point de
commande contact sec
1) Utiliser le bouton rotatif pour sélectionner
l’adresse RTS souhaitée.
- Le connecteur contact sec n°1 a par
défault l’adresse RTS n°1
- Le connecteur contact sec n°2 a par
défault l’adresse RTS n°2
- .......
- .......
- Le connecteur contact sec n°5 a par
défault l’adresse RTS n°5
2) Appuyer sur de bouton de programmation
du point de commande RTS ou du récep-
teur RTS jusqu’au va-et-vient du produit.
Le produit est en mode programmation.
3) Appuyer sur de bouton de programmation
du RS485 RTS transmitter jusqu’au va-et-
vient du produit.
Le produit est appairé au transmetteur.

UTILISATION
Contact Sec

Appuyer sur le bouton montée du point de
commande

Si le produit est en déplacement, il s’arrête.
Si le produit est arrêter, il va en position My
(si une position My est enregistrée).

1) Enregistrer une position My
Pour enregistrer une position My,
mettre le produit dans la position my
souhaitée en appuyant sur le bouton
Montée ou Descente.
Appuyer sur le bouton Stop jusqu’au
va-et-vient du produit ou jusqu’au clignote-
ment de la LED.
2) Modier la position My
Pour modier la position My, mettre
le produit dans la nouvelle position My
souhaitée en appuyant sur le bouton
Montée ou Descente
Appuyer sur le bouton Stop jusqu’au
va-et-vient du produit ou jusqu’au clignote-
ment de la LED.
3) Supprimer la position My
Pour supprimer la position My, déplacé le
produit vers cette position et appuyer sur le
bouton My jusqu’au va-et-vient du produit
ou jusqu’au clignotement de la LED.

PRODUKTBESCHREIBUNG
Mit dem Funksender RS485 RTS können Sie alle Somfy RTS-Produkte in Ihrem Haus
über ein einziges zentralisiertes Haussteuerungssystem steuern.
Er kann bis zu 16 Gruppen von SOMFY RTS-Antrieben und Empfängern steuern.
Es ist jedoch nicht möglich, mit diesem RS485 RTS-Sender Einstellungen an Antrieben
oder Empfängern vorzunehmen.
Der RS485 RTS-Sender ist nur für den Innenbereich geeignet.
UMWELT
Verbrauchte oder defekte Batterien gehören nicht in den Hausmüll.
Entsorgen Sie sie entsprechend den geltenden Vorschriften im Handel
oder den kommunalen Sammelstellen.
Alte oder defekte Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte nicht im Hausmüll ent-
sorgen, sie müssen dem Hersteller oder den kommunalen Sammelstel-
len zugeführt weden.

1) Für eine RS485-Bedieneinheit
Verbinden Sie den RS485 RTS Sender mit
dem RS485 Anschluss der Bedieneinheit.
NC: Wird nicht angeschlossen
+ : RS 485 Bus +
- : RS 485 Bus -
G : Erde
2) Für eine potentialfreie Bedieneinheit
Verbinden Sie die potentialfreie Bedienein-
heit mit dem potentialfreien Eingang des
RS 485 RTS Senders.

Spannungsversorgung
Schließen Sie den Sender an eine 220V ~
Standardsteckdose an.

INBETRIEBNAHME
Bevor ein Produkt am Sender eingelernt
werden kann, muss es eingestellt sein.
Ein Produkt mit einer RS485-Bedienein-
heit einlernen
1) Drücken Sie die Programmiertaste
(PROG-Taste) auf der Rückseite des RTS-
Funkhandsenders oder des RTS-Empfän-
gers, bis der Antrieb mit einer kurzen Auf-/
Abbewegung bestätigt.
Das Produkt bendet sich jetzt in Lernbe-
reitschaft.
2) Senden Sie mit der RS485-Bedieneinheit
den entsprechenden RTS-Daten-Frame auf
den gewünschten Kanal.
Das Produkt bestätigt den Einlernvorgang
mit einer kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung des
Antriebs.
Ein Produkt mit einer POTENTIAL-
FREIEN Bedieneinheit einlernen.
1) Wählen Sie mit dem Kanalwahlschalter
eine der RTS-Adressen, die für die den po-
tentialfreien Anschlüssen zugeordnet sind.
- Der potentialfreie Anschluss Nr. 1 hat
standardmäßig die RTS-Adresse Nr. 1
- Der potentialfreie Anschluss Nr. 2 hat
standardmäßig die RTS-Adresse Nr. 2
- .......
- .......
- Der potentialfreie Anschluss Nr. 5 hat
standardmäßig die RTS-Adresse Nr. 5
2) Drücken Sie die Programmiertaste auf
der Rückseite des RTS-Funkhandsen-
ders oder des RTS-Empfängers, bis der
Antrieb mit einer kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung
bestätigt.
Das Produkt bendet sich jetzt in Lernbe-
reitschaft.
3) Drücken Sie die PROG-Taste amRS 485-
RTS Funksender, bis der Antrieb mit einer
kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung bestätigt.
Das Produkt ist im RS 485 RTS Funksender
eingelernt.

Bedienung
Potentialfreie Bedieneinheit
Auf, Ab, Stop und My
AUF
Drücken Sie die Auf-Taste der Bedienein-
heit.
AB
Drücken Sie die Ab-Taste der Bedieneinheit.
Stop / my
Drücken Sie die Stop-Taste der Bedienein-
heit.
Falls das Produkt in Bewegung ist, hält es
jetzt an.
Wenn das Produkt nicht in Bewegung ist,
fährt es in die «my»-Position (Lieblings-
position) (wenn eine Lieblingsposition
gespeichert ist).
my-Position (Lieblingsposition)
1) Speicherung der «my»-Position (Lie-
blingsposition)
Sie können die «my»-Position einstellen,
indem Sie das Produkt mit der AUF- und
AB-Taste in die gewünschte Position
bringen und anschließend die «my»-Taste
drücken, bis der Sonnenschutz mit einer
kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung bestätigt oder das
Licht kurz blinkt.
2) Änderung der «my»-Position (Lieblings-
position)
Sie können die «my»-Position ändern,
indem Sie das Produkt mit der AUF- und
AB-Taste in die neu gewünschte Position
bringen und anschließend die «my»-Taste
drücken, bis der Sonnenschutz mit einer
kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung bestätigt oder das
Licht kurz blinkt.
3) Löschen der «my»-Position (Lieblings-
position)
Sie können die «my»-Position löschen,
indem Sie den Sonnenschutz in die «my»-
Position bringen und anschließend die
«my»-Taste drücken, bis der Sonnenschutz
mit einer kurzen Auf-/Abbewegung bestätigt
oder das Licht blinkt.
