Introduction
The Mobile Docking System Lite II (MDS Lite II) provides a mobile work platform for the
M-Turbo™ ultrasound system, transducers, accessories, and peripherals.
The MDS Lite II User Guide provides information on the MDS Lite II and on connecting accessories and
peripherals. For information on a peripheral, please see the manufacturer’s operating instructions
included with that product. For information on the ultrasound system and transducers, see the
ultrasound system user guide.
Conventions, symbols, and terms
The user guide follows these conventions:
•AWARNING describes precautions necessary to prevent injury or loss of life.
•ACaution describes precautions necessary to protect the products.
• Numbered steps in procedures must be performed in a specific order.
• Bulleted lists present information in list format but do not imply a sequence.
Labeling symbols and terms used on the system are explained in the ultrasound system user guide.
WARNING: To avoid the risk of patient injury, misdiagnosis, or user injury, read all the warnings
in the ultrasound system user guide and supplemental guides.
