SECTION 1
SERVICING NOTES
The SERVICING NOTES contains important information for servicing. Be sure to read this section before repairing the unit.
ADVANCE PREPARATION WHEN REPAIRING
All of the units included in the WF-SP800N (left side headset/right
side headset/charging case) are required to repairing of this unit.
Check in advance that you have all of the units.
ABOUT REUSE OF THE LITHIUM ION STORAGE BAT-
TERY OF THE CHARGING CASE
It cannot reuse, when the lithium ion storage battery is removed
from inside the charging case. Be sure to replace with new part.
ABOUT INSULATING OF THE LITHIUM ION STORAGE
BATTERY OF THE CHARGING CASE
When wire of the lithium ion storage battery of the charging case is
removed from board, insulate the end of battery wire by wrapping
tape etc. to prevent short-circuited of the wire part.

CHECKING THE NEW LITHIUM ION STORAGE BAT-
TERY FOR BEFORE USE AND NOTES ON HANDLING
(CHARGING CASE)
• Checking before use
When replacing the lithium ion storage battery to the new parts, be
sure to check the exterior condition before installing the new lithium
ion storage battery in this unit.
• No external wound such as scratches
• No swell
etc.
If there are some abnormality with the exterior, do not use that lith-
ium ion storage battery.
• Notes on handling
When handling the new lithium ion storage battery, handle with
notes of the following.
• Do not drop it
If it drops accidentally, do not use that lithium ion storage bat-
tery.
• Do not scratch with tweezers or other sharp objects
If it scratches accidentally, do not use that lithium ion storage
battery.

When identifying the destination of this unit, open the charging case
lid and referring to the engraved contents on the model number label
on the inner side of the lid.
Note 1: Engraved contents of the model number label may be changed in
the midway of production.
Note 2: Can not identifying the destination by referring to the left and right
headset.

SERIAL NUMBER CHECKING METHOD
The serial number is engraved on the inside of the charging case lid.
Note 1: Serial numbers are not written on the left and right headset.
Note 2: If the charging case is replaced with a new part, the serial number
will change.

RESETTING METHOD
If this unit does not operate properly, perform the reset.
Note 1: Even if this work is performed, device pairing information is not
deleted. Also, other settings are retained.
Resetting procedure:
1. Attach the left and right headset to the charging case.
Note 2: If all indicators do not turn on, remove the left and right headset
from the charging case and put it in the charging case again. All
indicators lighting in red.

headset for about 20 seconds, and the indicator of left side head-
set changes from lighting in red to flashing in red, then check the
indicator is light offand the then release your finger. (After the

INITIALIZATION METHOD
After completing the repair, be sure to initialize this unit according
to the following procedure.
Note 1: When this work is performed, all device pairing information is
deleted and settings return to factory defaults.
Initialization procedure:
1. Attach the left and right headset to the charging case.
Note 2: If all indicators do not turn on, remove the left and right headset
from the charging case and put it in the charging case again. All
indicators lighting in red.

2. Touch and hold the touch sensor control panel on the left and
right headset simultaneously for about 10 seconds, and the indi-
cator changes from lighting in red to flashing in red, then release
your finger when state that flashing in red.

3. The left and right headset indicator changes from flashing in red
to flashing 4 times in blue, and when the all indicators are light
off, initialization is complete. (After the light off, all indicators
lighting in red and restart automatically)
Note 3: When this operation is performed, it might not be able to connect to
iPhone or PC.
In that case, delete the registration of this unit on iPhone or PC,
register the device again.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION METHOD
This unit does not have NFC function.
Refer to the following when checking the connection between the
Bluetooth device and this unit.
Pairing mode procedure:
1. Remove the left and right headset from the charging case, check
that the left and right headset indicators are flashing in blue, and
attach them on your ears.
Note 1: If it is already removed the left and right headset from the charging
case, put it in the charging case again and remove it.
Note 2: If the battery is low, it may not flashing in blue. In that case, charge
the battery and perform this operation again.
Note 3: Be sure to attach the left and right headset on your ears.

2. Attaching state the headset on your ears, touch and hold the left
and right touch sensor control panels simultaneously for about
7 seconds, and make sure you can hear the pairing mode voice
guidance from the left side headset.
Note 4: Depending on the status of this unit, such as after initialization,
you may hear the pairing mode voice guidance when you attach the
headset on your ears.
In that case, there is no need to operate the left and right touch sen-
sor control panels.

3. Perform pairing according to the Bluetooth device connect this
unit.
Note 5: For the operation method of the Bluetooth device side, refer to the
instruction manual of the Bluetooth device.

Note 6: After completing the Bluetooth connection checking work, be
sure to perform initialization and delete the Bluetooth device
pairing information by referring to “INITIALIZATION METH-
OD” on the left.

REPAIRING AND REPLACING OF THE LEFT SIDE HEAD-
SET OR RIGHT SIDE HEADSET
If the left side headset or right side headset is broken, it will be
replaced with the finished product excluding the earbud and arc sup-
porter. The headset cannot be disassembled and repaired.
Also, when replacing the left side headset or the right side headset
with a new part, perform the work for according to the following
procedure.
Note 1: Repair part of the headset do not include hybrid silicone rubber
earbud and arc supporter.
Earbud and arc supporter can be replaced with single part. Refer to
“4. ACCESSORIES” on page 17.
Check in advance:
• Check that you have all of the left and right headset and charging
case, included in the WF-SP800N.
• Be sure to check that there are no WF-SP800N in the surround-
ings (within about 50 cm). If using WF-SP800N in the sur-
roundings (within about 50 cm), it may connect to another WF-
SP800N.
Replacing procedure of headset:
1. Replace the broken left side headset or right side headset with a
new left side headset or new right side headset.
Note 2: Remove the hybrid silicone rubber earbud and arc supporter from
the broken headset and attach them to the new headset.

2. Attach the left and right headset to the charging case.
Note 3: The left and right headset will display a warning message (repeat
flashing 3 times in red), but proceed to the next step as it is.

3. Touch and hold the touch sensor control panel on the left and
right headset simultaneously for about 10 seconds, and the indi-
cator changes from warning message (repeat flashing 3 times in
red) to flashing slowly in red, in this state release the your finger.

4. The left and right headset indicator changes from flashing slow-
ly in red to flashing 4 times in blue, and when the all indicators
are light off, pairing of left and right headset is complete. (After
the light off, all indicators lighting in red and restart automati-
cally)
Note 4: When this operation is performed, it might not be able to connect to
iPhone or PC.
In that case, delete the registration of this unit on iPhone or PC,
register the device again.

REPAIRING AND REPLACING OF THE CHARGING CASE
• The lithium ion storage battery can be replaced
The lithium ion storage battery inside the charging case can be re-
placed with new part.
When replacing the lithium ion storage battery, refer to “2. DISAS-
SEMBLY” on page 9 and “3. EXPLODED VIEWS” on page 14.
– The case outer part removed state –
• When parts other than the lithium ion storage battery
are broken
When parts other than the lithium ion storage battery are broken, it
will be replaced with the finished product of the charging case.
Note 1: When the charging case is replaced with new part, be sure to refer
to “INITIALIZATION METHOD” on page 6 and perform it.
Note 2: When the charging case is replaced, the serial number changes.
