Water / Moisture
The apparatus should be protected from moisture and rain and can not be used near
water; for example near a bathtub, a kitchen sink, a swimming pool, etc.
Heat
The apparatus should be located away from heat sources such as radiators, stoves or
other appliances that produce heat.
Ventilation
Do not block areas of ventilation opening. Failure to do could result in re. Always

install according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
Object and Liquid Entry
Objects do not fall into and liquids are not spilled into the inside of the apparatus for
safety.
Power Cord and Plug
Protect power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience
receptacles, and the point where they exit from the apparatus. Do not defeat the safety
purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two poles; a
grounding-type plug has two poles and a third grounding terminal. The third prong is
provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not t into your outlet, refer to an
electrician for replacement.
Power Supply
In case of external power supply, the apparatus should be connected to the power sup-
ply only of the type as marked on the apparatus or described in the manual. Failure to
do could result in damage to the product and possibly the user. Unplug this apparatus
during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
Fuse
To prevent the risk of re and damaging the unit, please use only of the recommend-
ed fuse type as described in the manual. Before replacing the fuse, make sure the unit
turned off and disconnected from the AC outlet.
Electrical Connection
Always disconnect from the power source before servicing or replacing fuse and be
sure to replace with same fuse size and type. Cut off power before moving, repairing
and cleaning the unit. Improper electrical wiring may invalidate the product warranty.
To avoid electric shock, all xtures must be connected to circuits with a suitable ground.
Do not power on and power off the xture in a short time.
DMX connection
When use DMX controller, please make sure that there is no interference sources (e.g.
intercom, high frequency radio waves and radiation source).
Cleaning
Clean only with a dry cloth. Do not use any solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
Servicing
Do not implement any servicing other than those means described in the manual. Refer
all servicing to qualied service personnel only. Only use accessories/attachments or
parts recommended by the manufacturer.

1. 1. INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing our 4LEDKIT-PARTY lighting bundle. Enjoy your new equip-
ment and make sure to read this manual carefully before operation!
This user manual is made to provide both an overview of controls, as well as informa-
tion on how to use them. In order to help you to understand the connections between
the various controls, we have gathered in groups according to their functions.
1.1. UNPACKING
Your 4LEDKIT-PARTY was carefully packed to ensure safe transport. Despite this, we
recommend you to carefully examine the package and its contents for any signs of
physical damage, which can occur during transport. It is composed by following parts:

ATTENTION: Packaging bag is not a toy! Keep out of reach of children!!! Keep in
a safe place the original packaging material for future use.
1.2. ACCESSORIES
SOUNDSATION can supply a wide range of quality accessories that you can use with
your LED Kit, like Cables, Splitters, DMX controllers, and a wide range of xtures.
All products in our catalogue has been long tested with this device, so we recommend
you to use Genuine SOUNDSATION Accessories and Parts.

2. OVERVIEW
SOUNDSATION 4LEDKIT-PARTY brings you a complete light system including all acces-
sories in only one package. It is the smartest solution for all musicians, DJs, and small
rental companies.
It comes complete with 4 compact LED spots. Each spot contains 81 LEDs (27 Red, 27
Green, 27 Blue) in order to create a complete color palette. The spots are mounted on
a T-bar which has a built-in controller unit. The T-bar can be controlled by the included
pedal-board or by DMX.

In addition to RGB color adjustment of all four PARs independently, the unit features
12 auto running programs and 4 Audio Mode Options, to let your lighting kit create
wonderful effects even without a DMX controller.

4. OVERHEAD RIGGING
WARNING: The installation must be carried out by qualied service personal
only. Improper installation can result in serious injuries and /or damage to
property. Overhead rigging required extensive experience! Working load
limits should be respected, Certied installation materials should be used,
the installed device should be inspected regularly for safety.
• Make sure the area below the installation place is free from unwanted persons
during rigging, de-rigging and servicing.
• Locate the xture in a well ventilated spot, far away from any ammable materials
and/or liquids. The xture must be xed at least 50cm from surrounding walls.
• The device should be installed out of reach of people and outside areas where
persons may walk by or be seated.
• Before rigging, make sure that the installation area can hold minimum point load
of 10 times the device”s weight. The device should be well xed; a free swinging
mounting is dangerous and may not be considered!
• Do not cover any ventilation opening as this may result in overheating
• Before the rst time use, it must be inspected by professional staff to make sure
safety, inspection regularly every year.

5. OVERVIEW
1. POWER: Main input and output with IEC socket and integrated fuse holder. Con-
nect here the supplied mains cable and any next light.
2. SENSITIVITY: This knob is used to adjust music input sensitivity.
3. MICROPHONE: Turn the knob to adjust sound activated sensitivity.
4. DMX INPUT: 3PIN male XLR connector for DMX communication.
5. DMX OUTPUT: 3PIN female XLR connection for DMX communication.
6. LED DISPLAY: It shows all menus and functions.
7. MENU: Used to select Pod different menu items.
8. UP: To go up in the menu and to increase values shown on the display.
9. DOWN: To go back in the menu and to lower values shown on the display.
10. ENTER: Used to conrm your choice.
11. PAR LED CONNECTORS: Connect LED PARs here.
12. CABLE: Special cables with LED power signal for passive LED panels.
13. FOOTSWITCH CONNECTOR: Connect here the supplied pedalboard.
14. PANELS: Passive LED PARs.
15. ADJUSTMENT: PARs’ Pan Tilt adjustment brackets with fastening knobs.
16. STAND CONNECTOR: It is a Ø36mm connecting bracket to put the T-bar on the

supplied tripod stand. Use the knob to fasten the bar to the stand.
17. GROUND PLACEMENT CONNECTOR: Put here the supplied bracket to use the
T-bar stacked on ground or other plain surfaces.
6. FUNCTION
The unit has ve working modes:
fAuto mode - Built-in programs not controlled by foot pedal controller.
fManual mode - RGB color mix
fAudio mode - automatic built in programs Sound activated
fDMX512 mode - DMX512 control via controller
fFootswitch mode - Hold, black out, and control programs via the foot pedal.
fOb3 - mode this allows control of unit using just 3 dmx channels RGB

2. Once you have made a selection then press ENTER to con-
rm.
3. Use DOWN and UP button to choose the desired menu op-
tion.
4. Just wait 20 seconds, the menu structure is shown in previous
page.
This product has a memory function. It will go directly into DMX mode after switching
on, it will show “A001”. Once a menu has been selected the next time it is powered on
the unit will show the mode you previously nished on.
6.2.Footswitch
The footswitch has 2 pedals
fLeft pedal is blackout / on. Pressing the left pedal once will blackout the unit and all
par cans will go off
fPressing the left pedal once again the unit will light and return to be the position the
unit was in before black out was pressed. In blackout mode the display will show OFF.
Using the right hand foot pedal (programs) APon.
fBy pressing the program pedal the kit will step through the built in options.
fAuto programs 1-12 and Auto programs ALL. The digital display will read “APon ->
Ap01 -> AP02 -> AP03 -> Ap04-> AP05 -> AP06 ->AP07-> AP08 -> AP09 -> AP10
-> AP11 -> AP12 -> ALL”) as you step through the selection.
fYou also can step on the “PROGRAMS” footplate again to select into R ->G ->B ->RG
->GB ->RB -> RGB -> modes.
7. MODE INTRODUCTION
DMX512 mode
To receive DMX512 controller and the slave data.
Auto mode
There are 12 modes under this the auto mode: from AP01 to AP12. On every mode you
can set running speed.
Manual mode
Direct RGB control of color and strobe speed can be manually set under this mode.
fWhen display shows r-00 - r08, you can increase RED brightness value.
fWhen the display shows g-00 - g08, you can increase GREEN brightness value.
fWhen the display shows b-00 - b08, you can increase BLUE brightness value

fWhen the display shows F-00 - F-08, you can adjust Strobe Speed.
Audio mode
Under this mode, please adjust the Audio Sensitivity control knob on rear panel to a
suitable position. There are 4 modes, from SP00 to SP03, as you increase the value the
sound mode will increase and change.
Foot Switch mode
There are 20 modes that can be selected. AP01-AP12 are single internal auto programs;
ALL means that these 12 internal programs run constantly.
8. DMX Channel Chart
Several operating modes were preprogrammed into this LED Kit at DMX Channel 1.
Before controlling other DMX channels, please be sure that channel 1 is set in proper
mode (value).

9. MAINS CONNECTIONS
Connect the device to the mains with the power-plug. The wire correspondence is as
follow:

The earth must to be connected! Pay attention to the safety! Before taking
into operation for the rst time, the installation has to be approved by an
expert.
10. WORKING MODE OPTIONS
10.1. Stand-alone Mode
You can choose between AUTO, MANUAL mode, AUDIO mode.
fUse the MENU, UP, DOWN and ENTER buttons to select the desired mode.
10.2. Stand-alone master slave
Connecting several units together without a DMX controller
Setting the master unit
fPress the menu button to select the desired mode: Auto, Sound, Manual RGB
fPress enter to conrm.
Setting the slave units
fPress the menu button until A*** is displayed.
fUse the UP/DOWN buttons lo select A001
fPress the ENTER button to conrm
fAll slave units must be set to A001

NOTE: Please note only one unit must be set as a master. The slave units Will
Follow the controls from the master unit. The foot pedal can be connected to
the master unit To control all connected units.
Using a DMX controller
Each unit uses 15 DMX channels. To control all units the same, DMX value must be set
the same on all units (e.g.: all to A001).
To control units individually each unit must have its own DMX start address and each
address must be at least 15 channels apart. No DMX address values must cross (Ex-
ample unit 1 set to A001, unit 2 set to A016 etc., each 15 channels apart).
Using ob-3 mode
This is designed to use a basic 3-channel DMX controller and will only give control of
the RGB of all par cans. Individual control of each can is not available nor are any of the
built in programs.
To select ob-3 mode:
fPress the MENU button until ob-3 is displayed.
fPress ENTER to conrm

12.APPENDIX
DMX xtures are designed to receive data through a serial Daisy Chain. A Daisy Chain
connection is where the DATA OUT of one xture connects to the DATA IN of the next
xture. The order in which the xtures are connected is not important and has no effect
on how a controller communicates to each xture. Use an order that provides for the
easiest and most direct cabling.

Connect xtures using shielded 2-conductor twisted pair cable with 3-pin XLR male to
female connectors. The shield connection is pin 1, while pin 2 is Data Negative (S-), and
pin 3 is Data positive (S+).

CAUTION: Wires must not come into contact with each other; otherwise the
xtures will not work at all, or will not work properly.
12.1. DMX Terminator
DMX is a resilient communication protocol, however errors still occasionally occur.
In order to prevent electrical noise from disturbing and corrupting the DMX control
signals, a good habit is to connect DMX output of last xture in the chain to a DMX
terminator, especially over long signal cable runs.
The DMX terminator is simply an XLR connector with a 120Ω (ohm), 1/4 Watt resistor
connected across Signal (-) and Signal (+), respectively, pins 2 and 3, which is then
plugged into the output socket on last projector in the chain. The connections are
illustrated below.

Complimentary signal cable can transmits signals to 20 unit xtures at most.
Signal amplier is a must to connect more xtures.
12.2. 3-Pin vs 5-Pin DMX cables
DMX connection protocols used by controllers and xtures manufacturers are not stan-
dardized around the world. However, two are the most common standards: 5-Pin XLR
and 3-Pin XLR system. If you wish to connect SCENESPLIT 8 RACK to a 5-Pin XLR input
xture, you need to use an adapter-cable or make it by yourself.

14.WARRANTY AND SERVICE
All SOUNDSATION products feature a limited two-year warranty. This two-year warranty is specic
to the date of purchase as shown on your purchase receipt.
The following cases/components are not covered from the above warranty:
• Any accessories supplied with the product
• Improper use
• Fault due to wear and tear
• Any modication of the product effected by the user or a third party
SOUNDSATION shall satisfy the warranty obligations by remedying any material or manufacturing
faults free of charge at SOUNDSATION’s discretion either by repair or by exchanging individual
parts or the entire appliance. Any defective parts removed from a product during the course of a
warranty claim shall become the property of SOUNDSATION.
While under warranty period, defective products may be returned to your local SOUNDSATION
dealer together with original proof of purchase. To avoid any damages in transit, please use the
original packaging if available. Alternatively you can send the product to SOUNDSATION SERVICE
CENTER – Via Enzo Ferrari , 10 – 62017 Porto Recanati - Italy . In order to send a product to service
center you need an RMA number. Shipping charges have to be covered by the owner of the prod-
uct.

ACQUA / UMIDITA’
L’apparecchio deve essere protetto dall’umidità e dalla pioggia, non può essere usato
in prossimità di acqua; ad esempio nei pressi di una vasca da bagno, di un lavandino,
di una piscina, etc.
CALORE
L’apparecchio deve essere posto lontano da fonti di calore come radiatori, stufe o altri
apparecchi che producono calore.

Ventilazione
Non ostruite le prese d’aria per la ventilazione: ciò potrebbe provocare incendi. Installa-
re sempre l’unità secondo le istruzioni del produttore
INTRODUZIONE DI OGGETTI E LIQUIDI
Non introdurre oggetti o versare liquidi all’interno dell’apparato per ragioni di sicurezza.
PRESA DI ALIMENTAZIONE
Proteggere il cavo di alimentazione nel caso in cui venga calpestato o schiacciato, in
particolare in corrispondenza delle spine, delle prese e il punto di uscita dall’apparec-
chio. Non annullare l’obiettivo di sicurezza della spina polarizzata o con messa a terra.
Una spina polarizzata ha due poli; una spina a terra ha due poli e un terzo morsetto
di messa a terra. Il terzo polo è previsto per la vostra sicurezza. Se la spina fornita non
entra nella presa, consultare un elettricista per la sostituzione.
ALIMENTAZIONE
L’apparecchio deve essere collegato alla sorgente di alimentazione elettrica del tipo
indicato sull’apparecchio o descritto nel manuale. In caso contrario si potrebbero
provocare danni al prodotto ed eventualmente all’utente. Staccate la spina in caso di
temporali o quando non viene utilizzato per lunghi periodi di tempo.
Fusibile
Per prevenire il rischio di incendio e danneggiamento dell’unità, per favore usare solo
il tipo di fusibile consigliato come descritto nel manuale. Prima di sostituire il fusibile,
assicurarsi che l’unità sia spenta e scollegata dalla presa.
COLLEGAMENTO ALLA RETE ELETTRICA
Disconnettere sempre d alla fonte di alimentazione prima di riparare o sostituire il
fusibile e assicurarsi di sostituire con la stessa dimensione e tipo di fusibile. Scollegare
l’alimentazione prima di spostare, riparare e pulire l’unità. Il cablaggio elettrico impro-
prio potrebbe invalidare la garanzia del prodotto. Per evitare scosse elettriche, tutti gli
apparecchi devono essere collegati a circuiti con un terreno adatto. Non accendere e
spegnere l’apparecchio in poco tempo.
COLLEGAMENTO DMX
Quando si usa un controller DMX, accertarsi che non ci siano fonti di interferenza (per
es., citofoni, onde radio ad alta frequenza e sorgenti di radiazione).
PULIZIA
Pulire solo con un panno asciutto. Non utilizzate solventi come benzolo o alcol.
MANUTENZIONE
Non effettuate qualsiasi altro intervento al di fuori di quelli descritti nel manuale. Per
eventuale assistenza rivolgetevi solo a personale qualicato. Utilizzate solo accessori /
componenti suggeriti dal produttore.

16.1. DISIMBALLAGGIO
Il 4LEDKIT-PARTY è stato accuratamente imballato per garantire un trasporto sicuro.
Nonostante ciò, ti consigliamo di esaminare attentamente il pacchetto e il suo contenuto
per eventuali segni di danni sici che possono vericarsi durante il trasporto. È composto
