CARGA Y USO
•El IDX-200 se envía congurado de fábrica a la intensidad especicada para una

The Nano 365 Series IDX-200 Rechargeable UV-A LED Flashlight kit contains
the IDX-200 ashlight, a portable, versatile, lightweight
light source featuring one ultra-high intensity UV-A LED
ideal for industrial leak detection and other specialized applications.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS (Read all instructions)
•Do not operate the Nano 365 Series Rechargeable UV-A LED
ashlight (IDX-200) if it has been physically damaged.
•Do not look directly into the light. ALWAYS wear the provided UV-absorbing
protective glasses when operating the ashlight. Use in low-light conditions to achieve
the best inspection results. The darker the room, the greater the uorescent contrast.
•Use only the provided Ni-MH battery for the IDX-200.
•The IDX-200 is not approved for use in hazardous atmospheres.
Do not attempt to use it in areas requiring explosion-proof lighting.
•Never use this equipment in any manner not specied in
these instructions because your protection may be impaired.
•NEVER aim the ashlight in the direction of another human
being. It is meant for professional uorescent inspections ONLY!
•DO NOT attempt to modify the lens assembly or light output. Doing so may alter
the performance and intensity of the IDX-200 and render the item out of compliance.

INTRODUCCIÓN

CHARGING AND USE
•The IDX-200 is shipped factory set at the specied intensity for optimal
performance during inspections.
•Turn ashlight upside down, unscrew and remove tail cap from
housing and place included Ni-MH batteries positive end towards head of ashlight.
•Replace tail cap by screwing into ashlight housing.
•The IDX-200 has one switch (on and off) on rear of tail cap. Prior to using the unit,
ensure that the switch is in the off position (no light illuminating from the
ashlight). Press the switch once to turn the ashlight on. Instant-on
operation ensures that the UV-A LED will reach full intensity immediately. Check to
see if the unit is operating optimally.
• Press switch again to turn the ashlight off.
UV INTENSITY VERIFICATION
To ensure that your IDX-200 ashlight is operating at the required
UV intensity, it should be checked periodically. The AccuMAX ™ XRP-3000
radiometer/photometer kit uses a UV-A sensor detector to accurately measure
ultraviolet irradiance. For more information about these units, please contact the

CARE AND MAINTENANCE OF FLASHLIGHT
•It is suggested to regularly replace or lubricate the included O-ring and screw thread
to ensure seal and smooth tail cap removal and replacement.
•Turn off ashlight and ensure unit is cool before cleaning lter glass. Please use lens
tissue, or non-dust cloth for cleaning.
•For long term storage remove battery from ashlight.
•Be sure to use genuine Nano 365 Series replacement parts. Using another
manufacturer’s parts could affect product performance and will void the lamp’s
warranty.
CARE AND USE OF ALKALINE BATTERIES
•When not in use remove the batteries from the ashlight and store separately.
•Store in a fairly cool environment away from sunlight, heat and humidity. Store
the battery at temperatures between 5 °C and 20 °C (41 °F and 68 °F).
•The battery self-discharges during storage. Higher temperatures (above 20 °C or 68
°F) will reduce the battery life.
•Alkaline batteries are subject to disposal and recycling regulations that vary by
country and region. Always check and follow your applicable regulations before
disposing of any battery.
WARRANTY
The warranty policy for the IDX-200 is provided on the Certicate of Limited
Warranty enclosed separately with each unit. The part number is located in
the center of the ashlight and serial number is located below the lamp head.
