Siderails
To Lower the Siderails
Lift the yellow latch
to release siderails.
To Raise the Siderails
Grasp the siderail any-
where and lift. A “click”
indicates it is fully raised
and locked.

Foley Bag Hooks
There are four Foley bag
locations on each side of the
bed frame.
The isolated hooks do
not add to the patient
weight.
Two additional Foley bag
hooks at the foot end are
not isolated from the scale.

Locations
The bed has multiple loca-
tions where restraints can
be tied.
Some are located under-
neath the mattress.

Brake Control Panel
Identical Brake Control Panels are located on siderails and
on the foot end control unit.
Neutral button deactivates brake to move bed
manually.
Drive button activates Zoom Drive System if bed is
unplugged.
Brake button activates electric brake.
Vascular Position brings the HOB to flat position
and raises the knees and feet above the heart.
One-Touch HOB 30 Degree brings the Fowler
angle to 30 degrees even when the bed is in Trendelen-
burg or Reverse Trendelenburg.

Zoom Drive
1. Unplug bed from the wall. Use the two yellow hooks
located just below the drive handles to wrap the power
cord when unplugged.
2. Ensure the surrounding area is clear of any devices or
other persons.
Disengage brake by pressing the Neutral button.
Engage the Drive system upon exiting the room or
confined space by pressing the Drive button.
Press on the yellow triggers on the underside of each
Zoom handle, observe and wait for the indication light to
change from orange to green, signalling the drive
system is engaged and you are ready to Zoom.
6. Apply minimal forward or reverse motion when driving
the bed.
7. Gently move handles in the direction you wish to turn
the bed.
8. To stop the bed while in drive, release grip from the
yellow triggers.
Disengage drive by pressing the Neutral button or by
pressing the Brake button.

CPR Pedal
Press and hold the CPR pedal
to automatically flatten the
fowler, knee gatch and foot
end of the bed.
Note: If using an XPRT®or
PositionPRO Therapeutic Sup-
port Surface, the mattress will
automatically inflate for maxi-
mum rigidity if the bed is
plugged in.

Manual CPR for XPRT or PositionPRO
To release:
Pull one of the two CPR cords. One cord is located on each
side at the head end of the surface.
All functions will stop and the mattress will go flat.
A message will appear on the touch screen indicating
CPR activation.
To reset:
Re-insert CPR plugs. Screen will automatically reset.

Bed status LEDs are lit when armed. Flashing is a status change condition.
