1 Anslut 511-enheten till LAN enligt figuren.
2 Anslut PC till samma nät och starta HTML-
läsaren (t ex Internet Explorer) i PC.
3 I HTML-läsaren: mata in enhetens IP-adress.
(Ex.: http://172.20.4.21.)
4 Logga in som root och med gällande lösenord.
Härvid skall du få upp 511-enhetens startsida på
skärmen.
5 Välj önskad åtgärd under rubriken System Con-
figuration för att konfigurera enheten (ruta 5 nedan).
(GB): Connect to LAN and prepare Configuration
1 Connect the unit 511 to LAN according to the figure.
2 Connect the PC to the same network and start the
PC HTML Browser (for example Internet Explorer).
3 Use the HTML Browser to set the IP address of the
unit. (Ex.: http://172.20.4.21.)
4 Log in as root and use the valid password. This
should get you to the Welcome page of the 511 unit.
5 Select the required item under the System Configu-
ration header to configure the unit (box 5 below).
LAN = Local Area Network
UTP = Unshielded Twisted Pair (oskärmad, partvinnad)
STP = Shielded Twisted Pair (skärmad, partvinnad)

3. Skapa applikationsprogram med TAC XBuilder.

1 Installera programmet LTA for TAC Vista i samma
katalog som TAC Vista (t ex TAC 330).
2 Starta programmet LTA for TAC Vista.

4 Välj LDV Server Port (default 1068) under Konfi-
guration/LTA for TAC Vista setup till samma som i
LTA for TAC Vista.

1 Install the program LTA for TAC Vista in the same direc-
tory as TAC Vista (for example TAC 330).
2 Start the program LTA for TAC Vista.
• Select a TACLON interface

• Enter the IP adress of the intended TAC Xenta 511
• Select Port (default 1068)
•UPDATE
•EXIT
3 Connect to the TAC Xenta 511.
4 Select the LDV Server Port (default 1068) under Con-
figuration/LTA for TAC Vista setup and use the same
value as in LTA for TAC Vista.
(GB): Assigning the IP address
Enter user name and password .
1 Type setip (see figure on prev. page) and
then answer the DHCP enable question:
- no if you are using a fixed IP address.
Continue with 2a.
- yes if you are using dynamic
IP addressing. Continue with 2b.

Felsäkert läge
Kortslutning mellan Failsafe 9 och 10 används för att
sätta enheten i felsäkert läge. Används (i nödfall!) t ex om
systemprogrammet hängt sig.
Brytarens läge avkännes direkt efter spänningstillslag.
Overall status indicator
Green, steady: Program in normal mode
Green, blinking: Program in start mode
Red, steady: Fail-safe mode (see description above)
Red, blinking: Unit error
Fail-safe state
Shorting the terminals Failsafe 9 and 10 will put the unit
in a “fail-safe” state. May be used in an emergency if an
erroneous system program keeps hanging.
The position of the switch is noted directly after Power
on.

511.
Using the TCP ports (Firewall)
If a TAC Xenta 511 and the IP-network are situated on oppo-
site sides of one or several firewalls, these must be opened
up to let the traffic through.
TAC Xenta 511 uses the following TCP/IP ports.
• Port 20, 21: FTP-access
• Port 25: SMTP-access
• Port 80: HTTP-access
• Port 443: HTTPS-access
• Port 1068 (default): TAC Xenta 511

Access to the unit is only granted if the correct user name (or
groupname) and password have been entered.

Användning av TCP-portar (Brandvägg)
Om TAC Xenta 511 och IP-nätverket är placerade på ömse
sidor av en eller flera brandväggar, måste dessa öppnas för
att släppa igenom trafiken.
TAC Xenta 511 använder följande TCP/IP-portar.
• Port 20, 21: FTP-access

• Port 80: HTTP-access
• Port 443: HTTPS-access

1 Anslut 511-enheten till LAN enligt figuren.
2 Anslut PC till samma nät och starta installations-
programmet
TAC Xenta511_nnnn.exe .
(Fås via TARAI eller på CD.)
3 Skriv in root, password , 511:ans IP-adress och
följ anvisningarna på skärmen.

2 Connect the PC to the same network and start
the installation program

3 Type root, password , the 511 IP address and fol-
low the instructions on the screen. UTP = Unshielded Twisted Pair (oskärmad, partvinnad)
STP = Shielded Twisted Pair (skärmad, partvinnad)
(SE): Systemuppdatering
Programmet i TAC Xenta 511 kan uppdateras över IP-nätet
genom att man kör ett installationsprogram på PC, se fig
nedan. Detta installationsprogram distribueras av TAC.
(SE): Systemservice
Funktioner för systemservice ligger under Utilities . De är
främst till för att ge teknisk information om systemet och dess
status och kan skrivas ut till fil eller skrivare.

Observera!
TAC Xenta 511 får inte användas för annat ändamål än till
vilket den konstruerats.
Installation, anslutning och service får endast utföras av be-
hörig personal.
All utrustning som ansluts till enheten måste uppfylla följande
normer:
-EN 60 742 (eller annan tillämplig säkerhetsnorm) för de(t)
aggregat som ger matning av typ ELV (normalt 24 V AC) till
enheten och annan ansluten utrustning.
-EN 61 010 eller IEC 950 (eller annan tillämplig säkerhets-
norm) för datorer och annan utrustning som matas med 230
V.

System service functions are situated under Utilities . They are
primarily intended to provide technical information about the
system and its status and can be written to a file or a printer.

Please note!
The TAC Xenta 511 must not be used for any other purpose
than that for which it was designed.
Installation, connection and repair may only be performed by
authorized personnel.
All equipment that is connected to the unit must comply with
the following standards:
-EN 60 742 (or other relevant safety standard) for the
device(s) that provide ELV-type power supply (normally
24 V AC) to the unit and other connected equipment.
-EN 61 010 or IEC 950 (or other relevant safety standard) for
computers and other equipment supplied by 230 V mains.
(GB): System Update
The TAC Xenta 511 program can be updated via the IP net-
work if you run an installation program on the PC, please refer
to the diagram below. The installation program is distributed
by TAC.
