Descripción
La Serie Centrales CATV está formada por centrales profesionales de calidad, en las que se combinan
amplicadores en sentido ascendente y descendente, con la ventaja de ajustes de lectura directa, ali-
mentación por entrada y/o salida según elección y todo ello con características de intemperie hasta
el grado IP67.
Las centrales son compatibles con conexiones 5/8”. Se recomienda montar con cable TR-165 Ref.
214901 mediante conexión Ref. 4122 5/8” , para garantizar el grado IP67 y la telealimentación en
paso 5A Imáx.
En montajes con menos requisitos, puede montarse con los adaptadores a conector F UNEF32,
Ref.4123.
La Serie Centrales CATV, ofrece una ganancia plana sobre el canal directo de 30dB o 40dB, selecciona-
ble por el usuario. La ganancia en el canal de retorno es de 28dB cuando se selecciona el modo activo.
Los diversos controles sobre canal de subida y de bajada, ofrecen pasos discretos de 2dB en atenuado-
res y ecualizadores, de 0 a 18dB. Además, se puede ajustar 0/5dB la ganancia interstage y la preacen-
tuación (canal de bajada), mientras que puede preacentuarse el canal de subida en 0/3/6dB.
La presencia deTensión AC en entrada y salida, se lee directamente mediante testigos luminosos LED,
y la telealimentación por E/S se seleccionará por el usuario mediante puentes insertables aislados.
La fuente de alimentación es de alto rendimiento, soporta 35-90Vac y está protegida de accesos
fortuitos del usuario. No abrir ni levantar la tapa protectora, peligro. Los conectores de RF llevan un
símbolo de peligro. No tocar directamente y usar herramientas aisladas. Recomendable conectar los
cables de entrada y salida primero, y por último situar los puentes de alimentación AC en su posición
denitiva.
El chasis, realizado en Aluminio, resulta muy compacto y fácilmente instalable; proporciona excelente
disipación de calor, permitiendo su funcionamiento en entornos con temperaturas elevadas y situa-
ciones de intemperie sin que su rendimiento o abilidad se vean degradados.
Las instrucciones de manejo son claras y situadas sobre los propios controles, con Leds que indican la
selección efectuada.
LosTest son de -20dB, para canal de subida y bajada, disponibles para entrada y salida. Situados en el
interior a salvo de inclemencias, con conectores F.
La tecnología es GA-AS y está protegida contra sobretensiones según UNE-EN 50083-2:2013. Asegura
larga duración con excelentes características técnicas de funcionamiento.
Description
The CATV amplier series is made up of high-quality professional ampliers, combining upstream and
downstream ampliers with the advantage of being able to change all settings from the unit itself, with
no need for plugin modules, all within a weather proof housing meeting the IP67 rating.
The ampliers are compatible with 5/8” connections. In order to maintain the IP67 rating, be sure to use
appropriate coax and connectors. If a standard F-connector termination is all that is available, just use a
5/8” to F-connector adaptor. All available from your Televes representative.
The CATV Series oers a user selectable at gain of either 30dB or 40dB. The return path gain is 28dB when
the active mode is selected.
The forward and return path attenuator and equalizer can be set from 0 to 18dB in 2dB steps. The forward
path interstage and pre-emphasis can be set to either 0 or 5dB and the return to 0, 3, or 6dB.
The AC voltage at the input and output is read directly by LED lights, and the input and output power
supply is selected by the user with jumpers too.
The high performance PSU, supports 35-90Vac and is shielded from accidental contact by the user. The
user should not remove the cover since there are no user serviceable parts in side the power supply. RF
connectors carry a danger symbol as a reminder that voltage may be present. Do not touch the connectors
and use only insulated tools.Input and output connections should be madeprior to poweringthe amplier.
The compact, weather tight, aluminum chassis is designed for easy installation and provides excellent heat
dissipation, allowing it to operate in more extreme conditions.
Easy to follow operating instructions are located on the controls with LEDs indicating the current selection.
-20dB test port F-connectors are available for both input and output and are located inside the housing to
maintain protection from the weather when not in use.
Uses Ga-As “Power Doubling” technology and is protected against overloads according to UNE-EN 50083-
2: 2013, ensuring a long life with excellent operating characteristics.

Televes S.A guarantees this product as per legislation
applicable for this type of product at the time and in the
country of purchase.
(A) Televes warrants, only to the original Purchaser,
all Products be free from any defect in materials
or workmanship for a period of two (2) years
from the date of original purchase, unless
otherwise specied.
(B) Televes shall, free of charge and in its sole
discretion, either repair, replace with a new or
factory reconditioned equivalent, or refund
the purchase price of the Product(s), that has
been determined by Televes to be defective in
material or workmanship, subject to the limits
of this warranty.
(C) This warranty excludes any damage or
inoperability resulting from:
(I) use or installation that is not in strict
compliance with the written instructions and
specications;
(II) any modication or alteration performed by
any third party not authorized in writing by
Televes;
(III) service or repair performed by any third
party not authorized in writing by Televes;
(IV) misuse, abuse, intentional harm, or lack of
reasonable care;
(V) re, ice, snow, rain, wind, water, volcano,
excessive heat or cold, lightning, ood,
power surge, earthquake, or any other acts
of God;
(VI) war, crime, strike, riot, electro-magnetic
pulse, or any other acts beyond the control
of Televes;
(VII) shipping.
(D) All claims under the terms of this warranty must
be made in writing, by the original Purchaser,
within fourteen (14) days of the defect being
known to the Purchaser. Such claims shall be
accompanied by a description of any material
facts related to the claimed defect and the
invoice or other proof of original purchase date
and price. If Televes so requests, the Purchaser
shall, at Purchaser’s expense, deliver the
claimed Product(s) to Televes, within 14 days of
the date of the return authorization. Under no
circumstances shall the Product(s) be returned
to Televes without a return authorization.
(E) Any refund to the Purchaser, shall be limited to
the purchase price of the Product(s), excluding
any applicable taxes, duties, freight costs,
removal costs, installation costs, or any other
charges incident to the purchase of the product.
(F) Any damage caused by shipper shall be
claimed with the shipper in accordance with
the shipper’s policies and procedures.
(G) Televes shall in no event and under no
circumstances be liable or responsible for any
consequential, indirect, incidental, punitive,
direct or special damages based upon breach
of warranty, breach of contract, negligence,
strict tort liability or otherwise or any other
legal theory, arising directly or indirectly from
the sale, use, installation or failure of any
product acquired by Purchaser from Televes.
(H) This limited warranty extends to the original
Purchaser and cannot be assigned or
transferred to any other party without the prior
express written permission of Televes, which
permission Televes may withhold for any
reason or for no reason at all.
(I) Televes will not assume any liabilities for any
other warranties, whether statutory, express or
implied, made by any other person.
(J) Televes reserves the right to modify or
discontinue this warranty at Televes’ sole
discretion without notication. No other
warrantees are expressed or implied.

11. Solicite todas las reparaciones a personal de servicio
cualicado. Solicite una reparación cuando el
aparato se haya dañado de cualquiera forma, como
cuando el cable de red o el enchufe están dañados,
se ha derramado líquido o han caído objetos dentro
del aparato, el aparato ha sido expuesto a la lluvia
o humedad, no funciona normalmente, o haya
sufrido una caída.
Cómo utilizar el equipo de forma segura
La tensión de alimentación de este producto ha de
ser: 35-90V~ 50/60Hz.
En el caso de que cualquier líquido u objeto caigan
dentro del aparato, debe de ponerse en contacto con
el servicio técnico.
No quitar la tapa del equipo sin desconectarlo de la
alimentación.
Instalación segura
La temperatura ambiente no debe superar los 45°C.
No situar el equipo donde pueda estar sometido a
fuertes vibraciones o sacudidas.
Deje un espacio libre alrededor del aparato para
proporcionar una ventilación adecuada.
No situar sobre el aparato fuentes de llama desnuda,
tales como velas encendidas.

have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally,
or has been dropped.
Safe operation
Power requirements for this product are 35 - 90V~ 50/60
Hz.
Should any liquid or object fall into the equipment, please
refer to qualied personnel for service.
Do not take the cover o the equipment without
disconnecting it from the power.
Safe installation
Ambient temperature should not be higher than 113°F.
Do not place the equipment in a place where it can suer
vibrations or shocks.
Please allow air circulation around the equipment.
Do not place naked ames, such as lighted candles on or
near the product.
