Thermo-Hygro-Transmitter
It has never been so easy to monitor the room climate. COSY RADAR informs you
about the temperature and humidity at the installation site, e.g. in the bedroom,
children’s room or storeroom. With the innovative long-term monitoring radar
display, you become aware of any ongoing risk of mould.

The connection to the WeatherHub gateway enables you to check the data
worldwide via smartphone and to use numerous additional functions via the
smartphone app. The app allows you to check the current temperature and
humidity values with maximum and minimum values, set alarm limits, and be
informed by push notifications. The record of the last 90 days can be viewed in
different graphics with adjustable periods of time.
Extension with the Thermo-Hygro transmitter:
The WeatherHub app compares the indoor air with the outdoor air and shows
specific recommendations for the active improvement of the indoor climate by
ventilation, heating, dehumidification or humidification.
Standard functions in the WeatherHub app:

Download App
Download the WeatherHub app from the „Apple App Store“ or „Google Play Store“.
Connect the Gateway
Connect the gateway to the power supply using the enclosed AC power adaptor. Connect the included LAN cable to
the gateway and your router. After about 10 seconds, the gateway is in operation. The LED will turn static green. If
no DHCP server is available in your network, you can congure the gateway in the app under „Settings“ manually. If
the gateway‘s green LED is not permanently lit, please check whether the gateway is properly connected to the AC
power adaptor and the router, or if it is turned on and connected to the Internet. (More information can be found on
the app under „Info“).
Important: The gateway should always be put into operation before starting the sensors!
Set up transmitter and COSY RADAR
Set up the transmitter and the COSY RADAR as described in the specic device‘s manual and look for a suitable
location. Important: To get accurate ventilation recommendations, you must place the thermo-hygro transmitter
outdoors and the COSY RADAR indoors.
Add sensor
Open the app, the dashboard is displayed. The sample sensors are for testing purposes only and may be deleted
later on. Tap „Add“ new sensor and scan the sensor‘s QR code. Then set a name for the sensor. To set a name,
select the transmitter and then tap the area left of the pencil icon on the top right corner of the screen. Repeat this
process with the COSY RADAR.
Conguration of the COSY RADAR
It is possible to get specic ventilation recommendations displayed in addition to the standard readings by using
the thermo-hygro sensor (30.3303.02) and the COSY RADAR (30.5043.01) simultaneously.
To do this you must connect the two devices:
Quick reference
31.4008.02 WeatherHub weather station
Read measurements
Now you can read the measured values and overviews on your mobile phone and get specic ventilation
recommendations.
Troubleshooting
If no sensor readings are displayed on the app, check rst whether the gateway‘s green LED is permanently lit.
(See „Connect the gateway“).
If the gateway works properly, but the problem persists, we recommend the following steps:
• Check if the sensor batteries are inserted with the correct polarity.
• Restart the sensor by removing the batteries for a minute and reinserting them.
• Check if your phone is connected to the internet.
• Decrease the distance between sensor and gateway. The signal may be weakened by thick
walls and ceilings.
• More information can be found on the app under „Info“.
