The capping melting and purification tank allows a
continuous work of capping melting.
The capping melting tank saves time, especially when
using a Spinomel centrifuge: two sets of baskets are
used, allowing a reduction in waiting time.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION : Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, make sure that the electrical
installation complies with current standards (protection by earth leakage circuit breaker, earth wire,
etc.).
Check the supply voltage.
Before using the unit for the first time, clean the unit to remove any residual chips or filings.
Use edible oil to fill the water bath (not included, to be ordered separately).
Never use water: risk of damage to the immersed heaters. Never operate the appliance without oil.
This appliance is designed for continuous operation.
Do not the device heat for a long time without constant flow or without surveillance (for example
over night).

OPERATIONG PRINCIPLE
Thanks to its oil-bath heating, the tank melts and purifies the cappings in order to offer a clean
and clear wax at the end of the process.
The unit is equipped with an electronic temperature controller with digital display (1) to precisely
regulate the heating temperature.
Each cycle allows 110 to 120 kg of wax to be recovered.

USAGE GUIDE
•Oil bath filling
Unscrew the vent plug (2).
Pour 120 litres of oil into the filler (3) after unscrewing the perforated plastic plug
(4).
•Oil-bath emptying
Unscrew the vent plug, turn the outlet valve (5) and allow the oil to drain into a
container.

•Tank filling (for 2 capping barrels or 16 Spinomel baskets)
Connect the unit to the power supply.
Set the POWER button (6) to "ON".
Set the ON/OFF button (7) to "ON", the indicator light will come on to indicate when the
unit is heating up.
Pour 10 litres of water into the tank.
Place the contents of a barrel or 8 baskets in the tank.
Set the electronic temperature control to 90 °C (1) (see also enclosed instructions) :
- Press the SET key for more than 2 seconds.
- The temperature value is displayed and the °C LED flashes.
- Change this value using the keys ▲ou ▼within 10 seconds to reach the temperature
of 90 °C.
- To store the new value, press the SET button again or wait 10 seconds to restart the
operation.
The melting time for this first run is approximately 8 hours.
After melting down the first round, fill the tank with the remaining lids (either one
barrel or 8 baskets).
The re-melting time for this second round is between 6 and 8 hours.
Before recovering the liquid wax and honey, lower the electronic temperature regulator
(1) to 65 °C and wait 2 to 3 hours.
Recover the honey via the 50/60 male outlet (8) by opening the valve. Close the valve as
soon as impurities start to flow out.
Collect the wax through the valves equipped with elbows (9) by turning the handles.
Allow the product to flow into a wax container (regulator always set to 65 °C).
WARNING: Never switch off the heating system while the wax is draining.
If the wax does not drain immediately, increase the temperature by operating the
electronic temperature regulator.
To stop the machine, set the ON/OFF button (7) to OFF and then press the power button
(6) to "OFF".

MAINTENANCE
CAUTION : Disconnect the machine from the power supply before servicing.
Protect electrical appliances when cleaning.
Clean with hot water.
The capping melting and cleaning tank is a seasonal equipment but must run regularly
throughout the year (at least a few seconds per month when empty, but never without
oil).
Store preferably in a dry room.

Frequent questions
CAUTION : Unplmug the machine before any operation.
Problem Possible Solution
The machine does not start
- Check that the machine is correctly plugged to the power
supply.
- Check the state of the power suplly (power failure)
- Turn the raise the temperature and check that the
heating light turns on.
- Check the state of the circuit breakers inside the
command box.
