1 Intended Purpose
The MM-1000 is a handheld massager that uses vibration as a means of alleviating
muscular strains and pains, as well as promoting relaxation. It can be used to stimulate
meridians and enhance blood circulation. A wonderful way to relieve stress.
2 Safety advice
2.1 General
• Always read the safety instructions carefully and keep this user guide for future
reference.
• Follow the basic safety precautions for all electronic equipment when using this
product.
• This product is not a toy. Don’t let children play with it.
• The device is only for private use and is not intended for medical or commercial
purposes. If you have any concern regarding your health, consult your doctor
before using this product.
• This unit is not waterproof. Don't expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Make sure that the appliance is not too close to heat sources such as ovens,
radiators or direct sunlight.
• Do not use the product if it is not working properly, dropped or damaged.
• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by qualified persons.
Incorrect repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. In the event of
repairs, please contact our customer service or an authorized dealer.
• Don't disassemble this product. It doesn't contain parts that can be repaired by
the user.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in this user
guide. The manufacturer cannot be held liable for personal injuries
or damages occurring as a result of inappropriate or careless use.

• Do not drop or insert object into any opening.
• Do not place the basic unit in a damp room and at a distance of less than 1.5 m
away from a water source.
• Do not use the product for more than 15 minutes at a time. Extensive use could
lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter lifetime.
• Don't disassemble this product. It doesn't contain parts that can be repaired by
the user.
2.2 Batteries
• Batteries can cause fire or burns when the terminals are short-circuit.
• Never throw batteries in fire as they may explode.
• Keep batteries away from small children.
• Leaking acid from batteries may damage the device permanently. Remove the
batteries if the device is not going to be used for a long period.
• Handle damaged or leaking batteries very carefully.
2.3 Massage precautions
• It is not allowed to use the massager:
– On young children under the age of 16.
– On persons suffering from a herniated disk or from abnormal changes to
the vertebra.
– Not in case of cardiovascular diseases and headaches.
– Not in the case of swelling, burns, inflammation, open wounds, fresh
wounds, hematomas, bleeding or other injuries to the back or legs.
– During pregnancy.
– In bed.
– After taking medication or consuming alcohol (reduced levels of
awareness).
– On a person with insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.
– In a car.
– While operating machinery.

– If you are fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, implant or other aid.
– If you suffer from any of the following: common cold accompanied by fever,
varicose veins, thrombosis, phlebitis, jaundice, diabetes, nervous system
diseases (e.g. sciatica), tuberculosis, tumours, haemorrhoids, bruises or
acute inflammation.
– Not in case of pains of unclarified origin.
– On the head.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near invalids or
disabled persons.
• Individuals with pacemaker should consult their doctor before use.
• Do not use this product before sleeping. The massage has a stimulating effect
and can delay sleep.
• When the unit is working, do put hands between the massage head and body.
• Only gentle force should be exerted against the unit in order to eliminate any/all
risk of injury.
• If the material covering the massage mechanism becomes torn or damaged,
discontinue use.
• Never put any body part (fingers or hands) inside the interior of the unit.
• Consult your physician, if you have any therapeutic questions regarding use of
massager.
• Massage should be pleasant and comfortable. Should pain or discomfort result,
discontinue use and consult your physician.

4 Getting started.
4.1 Important
• Consult a licensed health care professional. He or she
will advise you on whether it is safe for you to use a
massager, what to do, and whether there are other
things that you should be doing as well to help.
• Do not use directly on your skin. Use clothing or a cloth to protect your skin and
aid in hygiene.
• Do not massage a body part more often than every second day.
4.2 Installing batteries
a. Press the battery cover bolt to release the
battery cover. Watch very carefully how the
battery cover is removed.
b. Remove the battery security clip by pressing
both ends.
c. Install 3 AAA (1,5) batteries following the
polarity as indicated in the battery compartment
and re-install carefully the battery security clip
and battery cover.

4.3 Using the massager
After installing batteries:
• Press the On/Off button (1) to activate the vibration. The massage heads will
illuminate.
• Press the On/Off button (1) again to deactivate the vibration.
4.4 How and where to massage
• Keep the massager still on one of the next spots for approximately 30 seconds
then move it onto the next part that needs massaging.
• Apply little pressure at first.
• It is very important that the part you are massaging is relaxed. When you hold a
massager, the shoulder on the side you hold the massager with will tighten.
Therefore you should hold the massager with the opposite hand.
• Never press too hard.

5 Cleaning
• Clean it with a soft cloth or slightly damp sponge.
• Never allow that water or any other liquid enters the device or accessories.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass polish or paint
thinner to clean.
6 Disposal of the device (environment)
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the
normal household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipments. The symbol on the
product, user guide and/or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a
recycling point. By re-using some parts or raw materials from used products you make
an important contribution to the protection of the environment. Please contact your
local authorities in case you need more information on the collection points in your
area.
7 Topcom warranty
7.1 Warranty period
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the
day the new unit is purchased.
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the
equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase receipt, on
which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.

7.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a valid purchase
note. If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially
appointed service centre will repair any defects caused by material or manufacturing
faults free of charge.
Topcom will at its discretion fulfill its warranty obligations by either repairing or
exchanging the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour
and model can be different from the original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty
period is not extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by Topcom or its appointed
service centres.
7.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting
from use of non-original parts or accessories not recommended by Topcom are not
covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning,
water and fire, nor any damage caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed,
removed or rendered illegible.
This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and
other relevant provisions of the directive 2004/108/EC.

1 Bedoeld gebruik
De MM-1000 is een handmassageapparaat dat via trillingen spierspanning en -pijn
verlicht en ontspanning bevordert. U kunt het gebruiken om meridianen te stimuleren
en de bloedsomloop te verbeteren. Een zalige manier om u van stress te verlossen.
2 Veiligheidsadvies
2.1 Algemeen
• Lees de veiligheidsinstructies altijd aandachtig en bewaar deze
gebruiksaanwijzing voor eventueel later gebruik.
• Houd u bij het gebruik van dit product aan de elementaire voorzorgsmaatregelen
die gelden voor alle elektronische apparaten.
• Dit product is geen speelgoed. Laat kinderen er niet mee spelen.
• Het apparaat is enkel bestemd voor privégebruik, niet voor medische of
commerciële doeleinden. Hebt u enige twijfels over uw gezondheid, raadpleeg
dan uw arts vooraleer het product te gebruiken.
• Dit apparaat is niet waterbestendig. Stel het product niet bloot aan regen of
vocht.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet te dicht bij warmtebronnen staat zoals ovens,
radiatoren of direct zonlicht.
• Gebruik het product niet als het niet correct werkt, als het gevallen of beschadigd
is.
Het apparaat is enkel bestemd voor het gebruik beschreven in deze

• Elektrische toestellen moeten altijd hersteld worden door een daartoe
gekwalificeerd persoon. Slechte reparaties kunnen leiden tot een aanzienlijk
gevaar voor de gebruiker. Als een herstelling nodig is, neemt u contact op met
onze klantendienst of met een erkend verdeler.
• Demonteer dit product niet. Het bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker
kunnen worden hersteld.
• Steek geen voorwerpen in welke opening ook.
• Plaats het apparaat niet in een vochtige ruimte en op een afstand van minder
dan 1,5 meter van een waterbron.
• Gebruik het product niet langer dan 15 minuten per keer. Langer gebruik kan
oververhitting veroorzaken en hierdoor de levensduur van het product verkorten.
• Demonteer dit product niet. Het bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker
kunnen worden hersteld.
2.2 Batterijen
• Kortsluiting tussen de batterijcontacten kan brand of brandwonden veroorzaken.
• Gooi batterijen nooit in het vuur, aangezien ze dan kunnen ontploffen.
• Houd de batterijen uit de buurt van kinderen.
• Lekkend zuur van batterijen kan het toestel blijvend beschadigen. Verwijder de
batterijen als u het toestel langere tijd niet gebruikt.
• Wees voorzichtig met beschadigde of lekkende batterijen.
2.3 Voorzorgsmaatregelen
• Het massageapparaat mag niet worden gebruikt:
– door kinderen jonger dan 16 jaar;
– door personen die last hebben van een hernia of abnormale veranderingen
aan de wervels;
– door personen met een cardiovasculaire aandoening en hoofdpijn;
– bij zwellingen, brandwonden, ontstekingen, open wonden, nieuwe wonden,
bloeduitstortingen, bloedende of andere letsels aan de rug of de benen;
– tijdens de zwangerschap;

– in bed;
– na de inname van medicatie of alcohol (verminderd bewustzijn);
– door personen met een ongevoelige huid of met een slechte
bloeddoorstroming;
– in de auto;
– terwijl men een machine bedient;
– door personen met een pacemaker, een implantaat of enig ander
hulpmiddel;
– door personen met de volgende aandoeningen: gewone verkoudheid met
koorts, spataders, trombose, flebitis, geelzucht, diabetes, aandoeningen
van het zenuwstelsel (zoals ischias), tuberculose, tumoren, aambeien,
kneuzingen of acute ontsteking.
– bij enige pijn waarvan de oorzaak niet bekend is.
– Op het hoofd.
• Wanneer het apparaat gebruikt wordt door mindervaliden of personen met een
handicap is degelijk toezicht noodzakelijk.
• Personen met een pacemaker moeten hun arts raadplegen vooraleer het
product te gebruiken;
• Gebruik dit product niet voor u gaat slapen. De massage heeft een stimulerend
effect, waardoor u eventueel moeilijk kunt inslapen.
• Wanneer het apparaat werkt, plaats uw handen dan niet tussen de massagekop
en uw lichaam.
• U mag enkel lichtjes drukken op het apparaat om eventuele/alle risico's van
letsel te vermijden.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer de behuizing van het massagemechanisme
beschadigd is.
• Steek nooit enig lichaamsdeel (vingers of hand) in het apparaat.
• Raadpleeg uw huisarts voor vragen over het gebruik van het massageapparaat.
• Een massage moet aangenaam en comfortabel aanvoelen. Ervaart u echter pijn
of ongemak, staak dan het gebruik en raadpleeg uw huisarts.

4 Om te beginnen
4.1 Belangrijk
• Raadpleeg een medisch deskundige. Hij of zij kan u
vertellen of u veilig een massageapparaat kunt
gebruiken, wat u moet doen en of er andere zaken zijn
die u zou moeten doen om u te helpen.
• Gebruik het toestel niet rechtstreeks op de huid. Draag kleding of gebruik een
doek om uw huid te beschermen en voor de hygiëne.
• Masseer een lichaamsdeel niet vaker dan om de twee dagen.
4.2 De batterijen plaatsen
a. Druk op de vergrendeling van het batterijdeksel
om het deksel los te halen. Wees voorzichtig bij
het verwijderen van het batterijdeksel.
b. Verwijder de veiligheidsklem voor de batterijen
door op beide uiteinden te drukken.
c. Plaats 3 AAA-batterijen (1,5 V) en let daarbij op
de polariteit die in het batterijvak wordt
aangegeven; plaats de veiligheidsklem voor de
batterijen en het batterijdeksel voorzichtig
terug.

4.3 Het massagetoestel gebruiken
Na het plaatsen van de batterijen:
• Druk op de aan/uit-toets (1) om de trilfunctie aan te zetten. De massagekoppen
zijn verlicht.
• Druk op de aan/uit-toets (1) om de trilfunctie uit te zetten.
4.4 Hoe en waar masseren?
• Houd het massageapparaat gedurende 30 seconden stil op een plek en zet het
dan op een volgende plek.
• Oefen in het begin niet te veel druk uit.
• Het is erg belangrijk dat het lichaamsdeel dat u masseert ontspannen is.
Wanneer u het massageapparaat vasthoudt, zal de schouder van de zijde
waarmee u het apparaat vasthoudt zich opspannen. Houd het massageapparaat
dus vast met de tegenovergestelde hand.
• Druk nooit te hard.

• Reinig het apparaat met een zachte doek of een licht bevochtigde spons.
• Zorg ervoor dat er geen water of enige andere vloeistof in het apparaat of de
accessoires binnendringt.
• Gebruik nooit agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, borstels, benzine, petroleum,
poetsmiddel voor glas of verfverdunner om te reinigen.
6 Het toestel afvoeren (milieu)
Na afloop van de levenscyclus van het product mag u het niet met het
normale huishoudelijke afval weggooien, maar moet u het naar een
inzamelpunt brengen voor recycling van elektrische en elektronische
apparatuur. Dit wordt aangeduid door het symbool op het product, in de
handleiding en/of op de verpakking.
Sommige materialen waaruit het product is vervaardigd, kunnen worden
hergebruikt als u ze naar een inzamelpunt brengt. Door onderdelen of grondstoffen van
gebruikte producten te hergebruiken, levert u een belangrijke bijdrage aan de
bescherming van het milieu. Wend u tot de plaatselijke overheid voor meer informatie
over de inzamelpunten bij u in de buurt.
7 Topcom-garantie
7.1 Garantieperiode
Op de Topcom-toestellen wordt een garantie van 24 maanden verleend. De
garantieperiode gaat in op de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. Kleine
onderdelen of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of
waarde van het toestel zijn niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door voorlegging van het originele aankoopbewijs
of kopie waarop de datum van aankoop en het toesteltype staat.

7.2 Afwikkeling van garantieclaims
Een defect toestel moet, samen met een geldig aankoopbewijs en een ingevulde
onderhoudskaart, worden teruggestuurd naar een Topcom-hersteldienst. Als het
toestel tijdens de garantieperiode een defect vertoont, zal Topcom of diens officieel
erkende hersteldienst eventuele defecten te wijten aan materiaal- of productiefouten
gratis herstellen, door defecte toestellen of onderdelen van defecte toestellen ofwel te
herstellen ofwel te vervangen. In het geval dat het toestel wordt vervangen, kan de
kleur en het model verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk gekochte toestel.
De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum is bepalend voor het begin van de garantieperiode.
De garantieperiode wordt niet verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of hersteld door
Topcom of diens officieel erkende hersteldienst.
7.3 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten te wijten aan onoordeelkundig gebruik of bediening en schade te
wijten aan het gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires worden niet gedekt
door de garantie. De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals
bliksem, water en brand, noch enige transportschade. Er kan geen garantie worden
ingeroepen als het serienummer op het toestel is gewijzigd, verwijderd of onleesbaar
gemaakt. Garantieclaims zijn ongeldig indien het toestel hersteld, gewijzigd of
aangepast werd door de koper.
Dit product voldoet aan de basiseisen en andere relevante
bepalingen van de richtlijn 2004/108/EEG.

sanguine. C'est un moyen fantastique pour vous relaxer.
2 Conseils de sécurité
2.1 Généralités
• Lisez toujours attentivement les instructions de sécurité et conservez ce manuel
d'utilisation afin de pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement.
• Respectez les précautions élémentaires applicables à tous les équipements
électroniques lorsque vous utilisez ce produit.
• Ce produit n'est pas un jouet. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec.
• L'appareil est destiné uniquement à un usage privé et non à un usage médical
ou commercial. Si vous êtes préoccupé par votre santé, consultez votre médecin
avant d'utiliser ce produit.
• Cet appareil n'est pas étanche. Évitez de l'exposer à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
• Vérifiez que l'appareil n'est pas placé trop près d'une source de chaleur, telle
qu'un four, un radiateur ou la chaleur directe du soleil.

2.2 Piles

• Gardez les piles hors de portée des enfants.
• Des fuites d'acide au niveau des piles peuvent causer des dégâts irréversibles
sur l'appareil. Retirez les piles si vous n'utilisez pas l'appareil pendant une
période prolongée.
• Manipulez avec une extrême précaution les piles endommagées ou présentant
des fuites.
2.3 Précautions concernant le massage
• L'appareil de massage ne doit pas être utilisé dans les cas suivants :
– sur des jeunes enfants âgés de moins de 16 ans ;
– sur des personnes souffrant d'une hernie discale ou de modifications
anormales des vertèbres ;
– en cas de maladies cardiovasculaires ou de maux de tête ;
– en cas de tuméfaction, de brûlure, d'inflammation, de blessure ouverte, de
blessure récente, d'hématome, d'hémorragie ou de toute autre blessure
sur le dos ou les jambes ;
– en cas de grossesse ;

– sous l'emprise de médicaments ou d'alcool (niveaux réduits de
conscience) ;
– sur une personne ayant une peau insensible ou ayant une mauvaise
circulation sanguine ;

– si vous portez un stimulateur cardiaque, un implant ou toute autre
prothèse ;
– si vous présentez l'une des affections suivantes : rhume accompagné de
fièvre, varices, thrombose, phlébite, ictère, diabète, maladies du système
nerveux (p. ex., sciatique), tuberculose, tumeurs, hémorroïdes,
ecchymoses ou inflammation aiguë ;
– en cas de douleurs d'origine non déterminée ;

4 Pour commencer
4.1 Important
• Consultez un professionnel de la santé diplômé. Ce
dernier vous indiquera si vous pouvez utiliser le
masseur en toute sécurité, vous expliquera son fonctionnement et vous
précisera les autres actions éventuellement requises.
• N'utilisez pas l'appareil directement sur la peau. Protégez-la avec un tissu ou un
vêtement, ce qui est également plus hygiénique.
• Chaque partie du corps ne doit pas être massée plus d'une fois tous les deux jours.
4.2 Insertion des piles
a. Appuyez sur le verrou du couvercle du
compartiment à piles pour ouvrir le
compartiment. Observez très attentivement
comment s'enlève le couvercle du
compartiment à piles.
b. Enlevez l'attache de sécurité des piles en
appuyant aux deux extrémités.
c. Insérez 3 piles AAA (1,5 V) en respectant la
polarité indiquée dans le compartiment à piles
