1 Intended Purpose
The SMC-2000H is a portable shiatsu massage cushion that contains internal electronic motors and
gears designed to massage the person sitting on it.
The full intensity Shiatsu function imitates a strong, stimulating massage.
The massage cushion can be fixed on an office chair or any other suitable seating with backrest (chair,
sofa, or similar).
With the controller you can vary the type, location, or intensity of massage.
The infrared heating improves the comfort during winter.
2 What is Shiatsu
The translation of the Japanese word ‘Shiatsu’ is ‘finger pressure’.
The primary aim of Shiatsu is to promote energy flow, which serves to enhance circulation of blood,
lymphatic fluid etc. It rebalances the digestive, circulatory, respiratory, nervous and immune systems,
which become unbalanced as your body redirects resources to deal with everyday stress.
In Shiatsu, the practitioner stimulates and balances the body through applying pressure and massaging
acupuncture points and meridians.
This stimulates the body's self healing capability and helps to maintain or regain health.
The SMC-2000H Shiatsu massage cushion has rotating massage heads which imitates the pressure
and kneading motions of a real Shiatsu massage.
3 Safety advice
3.1 General
• Always read the safety instructions carefully and keep this user guide for future reference.
• Follow the basic safety precautions for all electronic equipment when using this product.
• This product is not a toy. Don’t let children play with it.
• The device is only for private use and is not intended for medical or commercial purposes. If you
have any concern regarding your health, consult your doctor before using this product.
• This unit is not waterproof. Don't expose this product to rain or moisture.
• Do not leave the product unattended when plugged in. Unplug the product immediately from the
main power after use.
• Do not place the device on delicate surfaces, as otherwise the zip fastener could potentially
damage the surface.
• Make sure that the appliance is not too close to heat sources such as ovens, radiators or direct
sunlight.
The device is only intended for the purpose described in this user guide. The
manufacturer cannot be held liable for personal injuries or damages occurring as a
result of inappropriate or careless use.

3.2 Electric shock
• Do not operate this product when the cord or plug is damaged.
• Do not use the product if it is not working properly, dropped or damaged.
• Repairs to electrical appliances must only be carried out by qualified persons. Incorrect repairs can
lead to considerable danger for the user. In the event of repairs, please contact our customer
service or an authorized dealer.
• Don't disassemble this product. It doesn't contain parts that can be repaired by the user.
• Do not connect other attachments, as the power adapter, than the one supplied with the product.
• Do not drop or insert object into any opening.
• Do not place the basic unit in a damp room and at a distance of less than 1.5 m away from a water
source.
• Do not crush and avoid sharp folds.
• Do not use the product for more than 15 minutes at a time. Extensive use could lead to the
product’s excessive heating and shorter lifetime.
• The zip fastener on the Shiatsu massage device must not be opened. It is only fitted for reasons
relating to the manufacturing of the device.
• Don't disassemble this product. It doesn't contain parts that can be repaired by the user.
• Never use the appliance during a thunderstorm.
• Do not use the massage cushion under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause
fire, electrocution and injuries to person.
3.3 Massage cushion precautions
• It is not allowed to use the massage cushion:
– On young children under the age of 16.
– On persons suffering from a herniated disk or from abnormal changes to the vertebra.
– Not in case of cardiovascular diseases and headaches.
– Not in the case of swelling, burns, inflammation, open wounds, fresh wounds, hematomas,
bleeding or other injuries to the back or legs.
– During pregnancy.
– In bed or while sleeping.
– After taking medication or consuming alcohol (reduced levels of awareness).
– On a person with insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation.
– In a car
– While operating machinery.
– If you are fitted with a cardiac pacemaker, implant or other aid. Individuals with pacemaker
should consult their doctor before use.
– If you suffer from any of the following: common cold accompanied by fever, varicose veins,
thrombosis, phlebitis, jaundice, diabetes, nervous system diseases (e.g. sciatica), tuberculosis,
tumors, hemorrhoids, bruises or acute inflammation.
– Not in case of pains of unclarified origin.
• Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by or near invalids or disabled persons.
• Do not use on this product before sleeping. The massage has a stimulating effect and can delay
sleep.
• When the unit is working, do not touch the spinning massage mechanism with any other body part
except your back.
• Only gentle force should be exerted against the unit in order to eliminate any/all risk of injury.
• If the material or fabric covering the massage mechanism becomes torn or damages, discontinue
use.
• Never put any body part (fingers or hands) inside the interior of the unit.

4 Installation
4.1 Transportation screw
The massage cushion comes with a screw located on the backside of the unit to protect the massage
mechanism during shipment.
This screw must be removed before use to allow that the massager functions properly.
Properly dispose the screw and install the included black plug into the hole that was left by the screw.
4.2 Strapping system
The massage cushion can be installed to almost anychair.
Slip the straps over the seat or chair and adjust the fastening straps to secure.
The massage won’t slip or slide away.
4.3 Connecting to the main power.
• Plug one end of the power adaptor into the 230V outlet and the other end into the adapter jack
which leads from the massage cushion.
5 Button description
I Power button
• Press the power button to turn the unit on. The corresponding LED
light will illuminate.
• Press the power button once again to turn the unit off. The
massage mechanism will return to its lowest point before
switching off.
II Width adjustment
During rolling massage, you can change the distance between the
massage heads.
With each press on the width button, the massage heads will move to
the next available position.
III Full back rolling massage
Rolling is like two hands or thumbs working up and down along your
spine.
• Press this button for a full back ‘rolling’ massage.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• You will enjoy a full back rolling massage
• Press this button again to switch this massage off.
Remove the transportation screw on the backside of the product before use.
Not removing the screw can cause permanent damage to the massage cushion.
No guarantee is accepted in this case.
Only use the power adapter supplied. Do not use other adapters, as this may
damage the device.
The wall outlet for the power supply must be close and accessible.

IV Upper back rolling massage
• Press this button for a massage of your upper back only.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• The massage mechanism will skip the lower bag during massage.
• Press this button again to switch the massage off.
V Lower back rolling massage
• Press this button for a massage of your lower back only.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• The massage mechanism will skip the upper bag during massage.
• Press this button again to switch the massage off.
VI Spot massage (shiatsu)
• Press the spot massage up or down button to stop the kneading massage at a certain point.
• Hold the up or down button to move the massage mechanism up or down.
• Release the button when you have reached the desired massage point.
VII Heat function
• Press the heat button to activate a suitable heating function and the corresponding LED light will
illuminate.
• Press the button again to turn the heat function off.
The heat function cannot be turned on if no massage program is selected.
VIII Seat vibration
• Press this button to activate the seat vibration. The vibration will turn On in low-intensity and the
corresponding LED light (L) will illuminate.
• Press this button repeatedly to switch to medium (M) intensity, high (H) intensity or to deactivate the
seat vibration.
IX Full back Shiatsu massage
• Press this button for a full back ‘Shiatsu’ massage.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• You will enjoy a full back kneading massage
• Press this button again to switch this massage off.
X Upper back Shiatsu massage
• Press this button for a massage of your upper back only.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• The massage mechanism will skip the lower bag during massage.
• Press this button again to switch the massage off.
XI Lower back Shiatsu massage
• Press this button for a massage of your lower back only.
• The corresponding LED light will illuminate.
• The massage mechanism will skip the upper bag during massage.
• Press this button again to switch the massage off.

• Press this button to demonstrate the features of the massage cushion.
6 Technical data
7 Cleaning
• Disconnect the device and allow it to cool down.
• Clean it with a soft cloth or slightly damp sponge.
• Never allow that water or any other liquid enters the device or accessories.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass polish or paint thinner to clean.
8Storage
• Do not wrap the power cord around the unit before storing.
• Store the massage cushion in its original box and in a safe, dry and cool place.
• Store it out of the reach of children.
• Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed objects as this might damage the fabric.
• You can use the transportation screw for locking the massage mechanism. Be careful to remove it
from the unit when switching it on again.
9 Disposal of the device (environment)
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the normal
household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the recycling of electrical
and electronic equipments. The symbol on the product, user guide and/or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a recycling point. By re-
using some parts or raw materials from used products you make an important contribution
to the protection of the environment. Please contact your local authorities in case you need more
information on the collection points in your area.

There is a 15-minute auto shut off on the unit for your safety.
When the massager is switched off, the massage mechanism will always return to its
lowest position.
When selecting the seat vibration together with the back massage, there will be a
slight decrease of the vibration strenght. This adjustment is perfectly normal and
should not be interpreted as a defect.

10 Topcom warranty
10.1 Warranty period
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new unit
is purchased.
Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on operation or value of the equipment are not
covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase receipt, on which the date of
purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
10.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a valid purchase note.
If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially appointed service centre
will repair any defects caused by material or manufacturing faults free of charge.
Topcom will at its discretion fulfill its warranty obligations by either repairing or exchanging the faulty
units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour and model can be different from the
original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty period is not
extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by Topcom or its appointed service centres.
10.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from use of non-
original parts or accessories not recommended by Topcom are not covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire, nor
any damage caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered
illegible.
This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and other
relevant provisions of the directive 2004/108/EC.

1 Beoogd gebruik
De SMC-2000H is een draagbaar shiatsu massagekussen met interne elektronische motoren en
koppelingen die ontworpen zijn om de persoon die op het kussen zit te masseren.
Wanneer de shiatsufunctie op volledig vermogen werkt, geniet u van een stevige,
stimulerende massage.
Het massagekussen kan bevestigd worden op een kantoorstoel of op eender welk ander geschikt zitvlak
met rugleuning (stoel, sofa of iets gelijkaardigs).
Met de controller kan u het type, de locatie of de intensiteit van de massage aanpassen.
De infraroodverwarming zorgt 's winters voor extra comfort.
2 Wat is shiatsu
‘Shiatsu’ betekent in het Japans ‘vingerdruk’.
Shiatsu is vooral bedoeld om de energiestroom op te wekken die zorgt voor een betere circulatie van
het bloed, van de lymfevloeistof, enz. Deze massagevorm brengt uw spijsverteringsstelsel,
bloedsomloop, ademhalingsstelsel, zenuwstelsel en immuunsysteem opnieuw in evenwicht wanneer
deze verstoord zijn omdat uw lichaam de beschikbare middelen herverdeelt om de dagelijkse stress te
kunnen verwerken.
Door druk uit te oefenen en door acupunctuurpunten en meridianen te masseren stimuleert de
shiatsumasseur het lichaam zodat het opnieuw in evenwicht komt.
Dit stimuleert de zelfhelende capaciteit van het lichaam en helpt om gezond te blijven of opnieuw gezond
te worden.
Het SMC-2000H shiatsu massagekussen beschikt over roterende massagekoppen die de druk- en
kneedbewegingen van een echte shiatsumassage imiteren.
3 Veiligheidsadvies
3.1 Algemeen
• Lees de veiligheidsinstructies altijd aandachtig door en bewaar deze gebruiksaanwijzing voor
eventueel later gebruik.
• Houd u bij het gebruik van dit product aan de elementaire voorzorgsmaatregelen die gelden voor
alle elektronische apparaten.
• Dit product is geen speelgoed. Laat kinderen er niet mee spelen.
• Het toestel is enkel bestemd voor privégebruik, niet voor medische of commerciële doeleinden.
Hebt u enige twijfels over uw gezondheid, raadpleeg dan uw arts vooraleer het product te
gebruiken.
• Dit apparaat is niet waterbestendig. Stel het product niet bloot aan regen of vocht.
• Laat het product niet onbeheerd achter met de stekker in het stopcontact. Haal de stekker
onmiddellijk na gebruik uit het stopcontact.
• Plaats het toestel niet op delicate oppervlakken, de ritssluiting zou het oppervlak kunnen
beschadigen.
• Zorg ervoor dat het apparaat niet te dicht bij warmtebronnen staat zoals ovens, radiatoren of direct
zonlicht.
Het toestel is enkel bestemd voor het gebruik beschreven in deze
gebruiksaanwijzing. De fabrikant kan niet aansprakelijk gesteld worden voor
persoonlijke letsels of schade die voortvloeit uit onaangepast of onvoorzichtig
gebruik.

3.2 Elektrische schok
• Gebruik het product niet als de kabel of stekker beschadigd is.
• Gebruik het product niet als het niet correct werkt, als het gevallen of beschadigd is.
• Elektrische toestellen moeten altijd hersteld worden door een daartoe gekwalificeerde persoon.
Slechte reparaties kunnen leiden tot een aanzienlijk gevaar voor de gebruiker. Als een herstelling
nodig is, neemt u contact op met onze klantendienst of met een erkende verdeler.
• Demonteer dit product niet. Het bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden hersteld.
• Sluit geen andere accessoires (bv. stroomadapter) aan dan degene die met het product werden
geleverd.
• Steek geen voorwerpen in eender welke opening.
• Plaats het toestel niet in een vochtige ruimte en op een afstand van minder dan 1,5 meter van een
waterbron.
• Niet in elkaar drukken, vermijd scherpe vouwen.
• Gebruik het product niet langer dan 15 minuten per keer. Langer gebruik kan oververhitting
veroorzaken en hierdoor de levensduur van het product verkorten.
• De ritssluiting op het Shiatsu massagetoestel mag niet geopend worden. Ze is enkel aangebracht
om redenen die te maken hebben met de productie van het toestel.
• Demonteer dit product niet. Het bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden hersteld.
• Gebruik het toestel nooit tijdens een onweer.
• Gebruik het massagekussen niet onder een deken of kussen. Dit kan extra hitte veroorzaken met
brand, elektrocutie en lichamelijk letsel tot gevolg.
3.3 Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij gebruik van het massagekussen
• Het massagekussen mag niet gebruikt worden:
– door kinderen jonger dan 16 jaar;
– door personen die last hebben van een hernia of abnormale veranderingen aan de wervels;
– door personen met een cardiovasculaire aandoening en hoofdpijn,
– bij zwellingen, brandwonden, ontstekingen, open wonden, nieuwe wonden, bloeduitstortingen,
bloedende of andere letsels aan de rug of de benen;
– tijdens de zwangerschap;
– in bed of terwijl men slaapt;
– na de inname van medicatie of alcohol (verminderd bewustzijn);
– door personen met een ongevoelige huid of met een slechte bloeddoorstroming;
– in de wagen;
– terwijl men een machine bedient;
– door personen met een pacemaker, een implantaat of enig ander hulpmiddel. Personen met
een pacemaker moeten hun arts raadplegen vooraleer het product te gebruiken;
– door personen met de volgende aandoeningen: gewone verkoudheid met koorts, spataders,
trombose, flebitis, geelzucht, diabetes, aandoeningen van het zenuwstelsel (bv. ischias),
tuberculose, tumor, aambeien, kneuzingen of acute ontsteking;
– bij enige pijn waarvan de oorzaak niet gekend is.
• Wanneer het toestel gebruikt wordt door mindervaliden of personen met een handicap is degelijk
toezicht noodzakelijk.
• Gebruik dit product niet voor u gaat slapen. De massage heeft een stimulerend effect, waardoor u
eventueel moeilijk kunt inslapen.
• Wanneer het toestel werkt, mag u het draaiende massagemechanisme niet aanraken met een
ander lichaamsdeel dan uw rug.
• U mag enkel lichtjes drukken op het apparaat om eventuele/alle risico's van letsel weg te werken.

• Als het materiaal of de stof die het massagemechanisme bedekt, gescheurd of beschadigd is, mag
u het toestel niet langer gebruiken.
• Steek nooit enig lichaamsdeel (vingers of hand) in het apparaat.
4 Installatie
4.1 Transportschroef
Het massagekussen wordt geleverd met een schroef aan de achterkant van het apparaat. Deze schroef
beschermt het massagemechanisme tijdens het vervoer.
Vooraleer het toestel te gebruiken moet deze schroef verwijderd worden, anders kunnen de
massagefuncties niet correct werken.
Verwijder de schroef zoals voorgeschreven en plaats de meegeleverde zwarte plug in de opening
waaruit u de schroef hebt verwijderd.
4.2 Riembevestigingssysteem
Het massagekussen kan in bijna elke stoel aangebracht worden.
Trek de riemen over het zitvlak of over over de stoel en span ze aan.
Het massagekussen kan niet wegglijden.
4.3 Aansluiting op het elektriciteitsnet
• Steek een uiteinde van de stroomadapter in het 230V-stopcontact en het andere uiteinde in de
aansluiting van het massagekussen.
5 Beschrijving van de knoppen
I Aan/Uitschakelaar
• Druk op de Aan/Uitschakelaar om het apparaat in te schakelen.
Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• Druk nogmaals op de Aan/Uitschakelaar om het apparaat uit te
schakelen. Het massagemechanisme keert terug naar het laagste
punt voor de uitschakeling.
II Aanpassing van de breedte
Tijdens een rolmassage kunt u de afstand tussen de massagekoppen
wijzigen.
Telkens u op deze knop drukt, verspringen de massagekoppen in de
eerstvolgende beschikbare stand.
Verwijder de transportschroef aan de achterkant van het product voor gebruik.
Indien u deze schroef niet verwijdert, kan dit blijvende schade veroorzaken aan
het massagekussen.
In dat geval wordt geen garantie verleend.
Gebruik alleen de meegeleverde stroomadapter. Gebruik geen andere adapters,
omdat dit het toestel kan beschadigen.
Het wandstopcontact moet in de buurt en toegankelijk zijn.

III Rolmassage van de hele rug
Bij een rolmassage is het alsof twee handen of duimen op en neer gaan langs de wervelkolom.
• Druk op deze knop voor een ‘rollende’ massage van de hele rug.
• Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• U geniet van een rolmassage van de hele rug.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om deze massage uit te schakelen.
IV Rolmassage van de bovenrug
• Druk op deze knop wanneer u enkel een massage van de bovenrug wenst.
• Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• Het massagemechanisme zal tijdens de massage het onderste gedeelte overslaan.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om de massage uit te schakelen.
V Rolmassage van de onderrug
• Druk op deze knop wanneer u enkel een massage van de onderrug wenst.
• Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• Het massagemechanisme zal tijdens de massage het bovenste gedeelte overslaan.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om de massage uit te schakelen.
VI Gerichte massage (shiatsu)
• Druk op de gerichte massage omhoog of omlaag knop om de knedende massage op een bepaald
punt te stoppen.
• Houd de omhoog of omlaag knop ingedrukt om het massagemechanisme omhoog of omlaag te
verplaatsen.
• Zodra u het gewenste massagepunt hebt bereikt, laat u de knop los.
VII Verwarming
• Druk op de verwarmingsknop om een aangename verwarming te activeren. Het respectieve lampje
begint te branden.
• Druk opnieuw op de knop om de verwarming uit te schakelen.
De verwarming kan niet ingeschakeld worden zolang er geen massageprogramma
geselecteerd is.
VIII Stoeltrilling
• Druk op deze knop om de stoeltrilling te activeren. Bij het inschakelen staat de trilling op laag
vermogen, het respectieve lampje (L) begint te branden.
• Door herhaaldelijk op deze knop te drukken schakelt u over naar medium (M) vermogen, hoog (H)
vermogen of schakelt u de stoeltrilling uit.
IX Shiatsumassage van de hele rug
• Druk op deze knop voor een ‘shiatsu’ massage van de hele rug.
• Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• U geniet van een kneedmassage van de hele rug.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om deze massage uit te schakelen.
X Shiatsumassage van de bovenrug
• Druk op deze knop wanneer u enkel een massage van de bovenrug wenst.
• Het respectieve lampje begint te branden.
• Het massagemechanisme zal tijdens de massage het onderste gedeelte overslaan.
• Druk nogmaals op deze knop om de massage uit te schakelen.

XI Shiatsumassage van de onderrug

• Haal de stekker van het toestel uit het stopcontact en laat het afkoelen.
• Reinig het toestel met een zachte doek of een licht bevochtigde spons.
• Zorg ervoor dat er geen water of enige andere vloeistof in het toestel of de accessoires

8 Opbergen
• Draai de stroomkabel niet rond het apparaat vooraleer u het opbergt.
• Bewaar het massagekussen in de originele verpakking en op een veilige, droge en koele plaats.
• Bewaar het buiten bereik van kinderen.
• Vermijd contact met scherpe randen of puntige voorwerpen, dit kan het weefsel beschadigen.
• Vergrendel het massagemechanisme met behulp van de transportschroef. Vergeet ze niet te
verwijderen vooraleer u het apparaat opnieuw inschakelt.
9 Afvoeren van het toestel (milieu)
Na afloop van de levenscyclus van het product mag u het niet met het normale
huishoudelijke afval weggooien, maar moet u het naar een inzamelpunt brengen voor

Uit veiligheidsoverwegingen schakelt het apparaat zichzelf na 15 minuten
automatisch uit.
Zodra de massagefunctie uitgeschakeld wordt, keert het massagemechanisme
terug naar de laagste positie.
Selecteert u de stoeltrilling samen met de rugmassage, dan is een lichte

10 Topcom-garantie
10.1 Garantieperiode
Op de Topcom-toestellen wordt een garantie van 24 maanden verleend. De garantieperiode gaat in op
de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. Er is geen garantie op standaard of oplaadbare
batterijen (type AA/AAA).
Kleine onderdelen of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het
toestel zijn niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door voorlegging van het originele aankoopbewijs of kopie waarop
de datum van aankoop en het toesteltype staat.
10.2 Afwikkeling van garantieclaims
Een defect toestel moet, samen met een geldig aankoopbewijs en een ingevulde onderhoudskaart,
worden teruggestuurd naar een Topcom-hersteldienst.
Als het toestel tijdens de garantieperiode een defect vertoont, zal Topcom of diens officieel erkende
hersteldienst eventuele defecten te wijten aan materiaal- of productiefouten gratis herstellen, door
defecte toestellen of onderdelen van defecte toestellen ofwel te herstellen ofwel te vervangen. In het
geval dat het toestel wordt vervangen, kan de kleur en het model verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk
gekochte toestel.
De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum is bepalend voor het begin van de garantieperiode. De
garantieperiode wordt niet verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of hersteld door Topcom of diens
officieel erkende hersteldienst.
10.3 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten te wijten aan onoordeelkundig gebruik of bediening en schade te wijten aan het
gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires worden niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand, noch enige
transportschade.
Er kan geen garantie worden ingeroepen als het serienummer op het toestel is gewijzigd, verwijderd of
onleesbaar gemaakt.
Garantieclaims zijn ongeldig indien het toestel hersteld, gewijzigd of aangepast werd door de koper.
Dit product voldoet aan de basiseisen en andere relevante bepalingen

1 Utilisation
Le SMC-2000H est un coussin masseur Shiatsu transportable qui contient des engrenages et des
moteurs électroniques internes conçus pour masser la personne qui est assise dessus.
La fonction Shiatsu pleine intensité imite un massage fort et stimulant.
Le coussin de massage peut être fixé sur une chaise de bureau ou toute autre chaise adaptée avec un
dossier (chaise, canapé ou similaire).
Grâce au contrôleur, vous pouvez varier le type, l'emplacement ou l'intensité du massage.
Le chauffage à infrarouge améliore le confort pendant l'hiver.
2 Que signifie Shiatsu ?
La traduction du mot japonais «Shiatsu»est « pression des doigts ».
L'objectif premier du Shiatsu est de stimuler le flux d'énergie, qui sert à améliorer la circulation du sang,
du fluide lymphatique, etc. Il rééquilibre les systèmes digestif, circulatoire, respiratoire, nerveux et
immunitaire, qui sont déséquilibrés lorsque votre corps redirige ses ressources pour faire face au stress
quotidien.
Avec le shiatsu, le praticien stimule et équilibre le corps en appliquant une pression et en massant les
méridiens et les points d'acupuncture.
Cette technique permet de stimuler la capacité d'auto-guérison du corps et de maintenir ou de recouvrer
la santé.
Le coussin masseur Shiatsu SMC-2000H possède des têtes de massage pivotantes qui imitent la
pression et les mouvements de pétrissage d'un vrai massage Shiatsu.
3 Conseils de sécurité
3.1 Généralités
• Lisez toujours attentivement les instructions de sécurité et conservez ce manuel d'utilisation afin de
pouvoir le consulter ultérieurement.
• Respectez les précautions élémentaires applicables à tous les équipements électroniques lorsque
vous utilisez ce produit.
• Ce produit n'est pas un jouet. Ne laissez pas les enfants jouer avec.
• L'appareil est destiné uniquement à un usage privé et non à un usage médical ou commercial.
Si vous êtes préoccupé par votre santé, consultez votre médecin avant d'utiliser ce produit.
• Cet appareil n'est pas étanche. Évitez de l'exposer à la pluie ou à l'humidité.
• Ne laissez pas le produit sans surveillance pendant qu'il est branché. Débranchez le produit de la
prise d'alimentation immédiatement après utilisation.
• Ne placez pas l'appareil sur des surfaces délicates, car la fermeture éclair risquerait d'endommager
la surface.
• Vérifiez que l'appareil n'est pas placé trop près d'une source de chaleur, telle qu'un four,

3.2 Choc électrique
• N'utilisez pas ce produit lorsque le cordon ou la prise est endommagé.
• N'utilisez pas ce produit s'il ne fonctionne pas correctement, s'il est tombé ou a été endommagé.
• Seul un personnel qualifié est autorisé à réparer les appareils électriques. De mauvaises
réparations peuvent entraîner des dangers considérables pour l’utilisateur. En cas de réparations
nécessaires, veuillez contacter notre service client ou un revendeur agréé.
• Ne démontez pas ce produit. Il ne contient aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur.
• Ne branchez pas d'autres accessoires, comme l'adaptateur secteur, que ceux fournis avec
le produit.
• N'insérez pas d'objet dans les ouvertures.
• N'installez pas l'appareil de base dans une pièce humide ou à moins de 1,5 m d'un point d'eau.
• Ne le compressez pas et ne le pliez pas.
• N'utilisez pas le produit au-delà de 15 minutes. Une utilisation prolongée pourrait conduire à une
surchauffe du produit et réduire sa durée de vie.
• La fermeture éclair de l'appareil de massage Shiatsu ne doit pas être ouverte. Elle est uniquement
présente pour des raisons liées à la fabrication de l'appareil.
• Ne démontez pas ce produit. Il ne contient aucune pièce réparable par l'utilisateur.
• N'utilisez jamais l'appareil pendant une tempête.
• N'utilisez pas le coussin de massage sous une couverture ou un oreiller. Une surchauffe peut se
produire et provoquer un incendie, une électrocution et des blessures corporelles.
3.3 Précautions à prendre avec le coussin de massage
• Le coussin de massage ne doit pas être utilisé dans les cas suivants :
– sur des jeunes enfants âgés de moins de 16 ans ;
– sur des personnes souffrant d'une hernie discale ou de modifications anormales des
vertèbres ;
– en cas de maladies cardiovasculaires ou de maux de tête ;
– en cas de tuméfaction, de brûlures, d'inflammation, de blessures ouvertes, de blessures
fraîches, d'hématomes, d'hémorragie ou de toutes autres blessures sur le dos ou les jambes ;
– en cas de grossesse ;
– au lit ou en dormant ;
– sous l'emprise de médicaments ou d'alcool (niveaux réduits de conscience) ;
– sur une personne ayant une peau insensible ou ayant une mauvaise circulation sanguine ;
– dans un véhicule :
– en utilisant des machines ;
– si vous portez un stimulateur cardiaque, un implant ou toute autre prothèse ; les individus
portant des stimulateurs cardiaques doivent consulter leur médecin avant d'utiliser ce produit ;
– si vous souffrez de l'une des maladies suivantes : rhume accompagné de fièvre, varices,
thrombose, phlébite, ictère, diabète, maladies du système nerveux (par ex., sciatique),
tuberculose, tumeurs, hémorroïdes, ecchymoses ou inflammation aiguë ;
– en cas de douleurs d'origine non déterminée.
• Une surveillance rapprochée est nécessaire lorsque l'appareil est utilisé par des personnes
handicapées ou presque invalides.
• N'utilisez pas ce produit avant d'aller vous coucher. Le massage a un effet stimulant et peut
retarder le sommeil.
• Lorsque l'appareil fonctionne, ne touchez pas le mécanisme de massage en rotation avec une
autre partie de votre corps que le dos.
• Afin d'éliminer tout risque de blessure, n'exercez qu'une faible force contre l'appareil.

interrompez l'utilisation.

4 Installation
4.1 Vis de transport
Le coussin de massage est fourni avec une vis située à l'arrière de l'appareil afin de protéger
le mécanisme de massage au cours de la livraison.
Cette vis doit être retirée avant toute utilisation pour permettre le bon fonctionnement du rouleau-masseur.
Retirez correctement la vis et installez la fiche noire fournie dans le trou laissé par la vis.
4.2 Système de cerclage
Le coussin de massage peut être installé sur presque toutes les chaises.
Glissez les sangles au-dessus du fauteuil ou de la chaise et réglez les sangles de serrage pour sécuriser.
Le coussin de massage ne glissera pas.
4.3 Branchement sur le secteur d'alimentation.
• Branchez une extrémité de l'adaptateur secteur dans la prise de courant 230 V et l'autre extrémité
dans la prise d'adaptateur du coussin de massage.
5 Description des boutons
I Bouton d'alimentation
• Appuyez sur le bouton d'alimentation pour allumer l'appareil.
Le voyant correspondant s'allume.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton d'alimentation pour éteindre
l'appareil. Le mécanisme de massage revient à son point le plus
faible avant de s'éteindre.
II Réglage de la largeur
Au cours du massage par roulement, vous pouvez modifier la distance
entre les têtes de massage.
A chaque pression sur le bouton de largeur, les têtes de massage se
déplacent sur la position suivante.
Retirez la vis de transport placée à l'arrière du produit avant toute utilisation.
Si vous ne la retirez pas, le coussin de massage sera endommagé de manière
permanente.
Utilisez uniquement l'adaptateur secteur fourni. N'utilisez pas d'autres adaptateurs
au risque d'abîmer l'appareil.
La prise murale d’alimentation électrique doit se trouver à proximité et être
accessible.

III Massage complet du dos par roulement
Le roulement correspond à deux mains ou pouces se déplaçant de haut en bas le long de votre colonne
vertébrale.
• Appuyez sur ce bouton pour un massage complet du dos par roulement.
• Le voyant correspondant s'allume.
• Vous apprécierez un massage complet du dos par roulement
• Appuyez à nouveau sur ce bouton pour arrêter le massage.
IV Massage du haut du dos par roulement
• Appuyez sur ce bouton pour un massage du haut du dos uniquement.
• Le voyant correspondant s'allume.
• Le mécanisme de massage bloquera le rouleau inférieur pendant le massage.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur ce bouton pour arrêter le massage.
V Massage du bas du dos par roulement

VI Massage par percussion (shiatsu)
• Appuyez sur le bouton du haut ou du bas de massage par percussion pour arrêter le massage par
pétrissage à un point donné.
• Maintenez le bouton en haut ou en bas pour déplacer le mécanisme de massage vers le haut ou
vers le bas.
• Relâchez le bouton lorsque vous avez atteint le point de massage souhaité.
VII Fonction de chaleur
• Appuyez sur le bouton de chaleur pour activer une fonction de chaleur adaptée ; le voyant
correspondant s'allume.
• Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton pour arrêter la fonction de chaleur.
La fonction de chaleur ne peut pas être activée si aucun programme de massage n'est
sélectionné.
VIII Vibration du fauteuil
• Appuyez sur ce bouton pour activer la vibration du fauteuil. La vibration s'allume avec une faible
intensité et le voyant correspondant (L) s'allume.
• Appuyez sur ce bouton plusieurs fois pour passer à l'intensité moyenne (M), puis élevée (H) ou
pour désactiver la vibration du fauteuil.
IX Massage Shiatsu complet du dos
• Appuyez sur ce bouton pour un massage Shiatsucomplet du dos.
• Le voyant correspondant s'allume.
• Vous apprécierez un massage complet du dos par pétrissage
• Appuyez à nouveau sur ce bouton pour arrêter le massage.
X Massage Shiatsu du haut du dos

• Débranchez l'appareil et laissez-le refroidir.
• Nettoyez-le avec un chiffon doux ou une éponge légèrement humide.
• Ne laissez jamais entrer de l'eau ou tout autre liquide dans l'appareil ou ses accessoires.
• N'utilisez jamais de nettoyants abrasifs, de brosses, d'essence, de kérosène, de produit à polir les
vitres ou de diluant pour le nettoyer.
8 Stockage
• N'enroulez pas le cordon d'alimentation autour de l'appareil avant de le stocker.
• Conservez le coussin de massage dans son emballage d'origine et dans un endroit sûr, sec et frais.
• Stockez-le hors de portée des enfants.
• Evitez tout contact avec des angles tranchants ou des objets pointus pour ne pas endommager
le tissu.
• Vous pouvez utiliser la vis de transport pour bloquer le mécanisme de massage. Veillez à la retirer
de l'unité lorsque vous réutiliserez l'appareil.
9 Mise au rebut de l'appareil (environnement)
Au terme du cycle de vie de ce produit, ne le jetez pas avec les déchets ménagers
ordinaires mais déposez-le dans un point de collecte prévu pour le recyclage des
équipements électriques et électroniques. Le symbole indiqué sur ce produit, sur le mode
d'emploi et/ou sur la boîte est là pour vous le rappeler.
Certains matériaux qui composent le produit peuvent être réutilisés s'ils sont déposés dans

position la plus basse.
Lorsque vous sélectionnez la vibration du fauteuil avec le massage dorsal, la force

10 Garantie Topcom
10.1 Période de garantie
Les appareils Topcom bénéficient d'une période de garantie de 24 mois. La période de garantie prend
effet le jour de l'achat du nouvel appareil. Il n'y a aucune garantie sur les piles standard ou rechargeables
(de type AA/AAA).
Les accessoires et les défauts qui ont un effet nuisible sur le fonctionnement ou la valeur de l'appareil
ne sont pas couverts.
La garantie s'applique uniquement sur présentation du reçu d'achat original ou une copie de celui-ci sur
lequel figurent la date de l'achat et le modèle de l'appareil.
10.2 Mise en œuvre de la garantie
Tout appareil défectueux doit être retourné à un centre de service après-vente Topcom, accompagné
d'un ticket d'achat valable et d'une fiche de service dûment complétée.
En cas de panne pendant la période de garantie, Topcom ou son centre de service après-vente officiel
réparera gratuitement les dysfonctionnements dus à un vice de matière ou de fabrication, en réparant
ou en remplaçant les appareils ou les pièces défectueux. En cas de remplacement, la couleur et le
modèle peuvent être différents de ceux de l'appareil acheté initialement.
La date d'achat initiale détermine le début de la période de garantie. La période de garantie n'est pas
prolongée si l'appareil est remplacé ou réparé par Topcom ou son centre de service après-vente officiel.
10.3 Exclusions de garantie
Les dommages et les pannes causés par un mauvais traitement ou une utilisation incorrecte et les
dommages qui résultent de l'utilisation de pièces et d'accessoires non originaux ne sont pas couverts
par la garantie.
La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages causés par des éléments extérieurs tels que la foudre, l'eau
et le feu, ni les dommages provoqués par le transport.
Aucune garantie ne pourra être invoquée si le numéro de série indiqué sur les appareils a été modifié,
supprimé ou rendu illisible.
Aucune garantie ne peut non plus être invoquée si l'appareil a été réparé ou modifié par l'acheteur.
Ce produit est conforme aux conditions essentielles et aux autres
