InstallingtheKit
1.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface,turnofftheengine,
andremovethekey.
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitch
beforeyoudoanymaintenance.
2.Disconnectthenegative(-)batterycablefromthe
battery.
3.Disconnecttheexistinglampfromthewiringharness.
4.Removetheexistingcarriagebolt,nut,andlampfrom
thesupportbracket(Figure1).
