PreparingtheMachine

Mechanicalorhydraulicjacksmayfailto
supportthemachineandcauseseriousinjury.
Usejackstandswhensupportingthe
machine.
1.Removeanyattachmentsfromthemachine.
2.Parkthemachineonalevelsurface.
3.Engagetheparkingbrakeandlowerthearms.
4.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forthemachinetocool.
5.Raisethemachineoffthegroundsothatthe
tracksareofftheground.Supportthemachine
usingjackstands.
Note:Usejackstandsratedforyourmachine.
RefertotheOperator’sManualforyourmachine
todeterminetheweight.

Tensioning
1.Removethelockingbolt,spacer,andnutthat
securethetensioningscrew(Figure1).

3.Raisethesideofthemachinethatyouare
adjustingsothatthetrackisofftheground.
4.Verifythatthetrackdeectionis13mm(1/2
inch)asshowninFigure7.
Iftrackdeectionistoolargeortoosmall,
removethetensionerlockingboltandadjust
thetracktension;refertoAdjustingtheTrack
Tension(page3).
