Important:Thiskitdoesnotcomewiththerecyclerblades.

PreparingtheMachine
NoPartsRequired
Procedure
1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control
leverstotheNEUTRAL-LOCKposition,and
engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Raisethefrontofthemachineandsupportit
withjackstands.
WARNING
Raisingthemowerdeckforservice
ormaintenancerelyingsolelyon
mechanicalorhydraulicjackscouldbe
dangerous.Themechanicalorhydraulic
jacksmaynotbeenoughsupportormay
malfunction,allowingtheunittofall,
whichcouldcauseinjury.
Donotrelysolelyonmechanical
orhydraulicjacksforsupport.Use
adequatejackstandsorequivalent
support.
4.Repairallbentordamagedareasofmower
deckandreplaceanymissingparts.
5.Cleanthemachineofanydebrisonthedeckto
easeinstallation.
6.Removetheexistingblades;refertothe
Operator’sManual.
7.Removethe4hex-socketscrews(5/16x3/4
inch)and4angenuts(5/16inch)pluggingthe
exposedmountingholesinthedeckandthe
inboardtireapfasteneroneachside(Figure1).
Note:Retainthesepartsforfutureuse.

1.Insert2carriagebolts(3/8x2-1/2inches)on
eachsidethroughtherightandleftbafeand
bumpers(Figure5).

1.DisengagethePTO,movethemotion-control

engagetheparkingbrake.
2.Shutofftheengine,removethekey,andwait
forallmovingpartstostopbeforeleavingthe
operatingposition.
3.Removethenish-cutbafesandkickerbafes.
Retainallthehardware.
4.Replacethenish-cutbladeswithstandard
blades.
5.Installthehex-socketscrews(5/16x3/4inch)
andtheangenuts(5/16inch)intheholes
onthetopofthedeckwiththebolthead
underneath.
Note:Youmustplugallopenholesnotcovered
bybeltshieldsortheframetopreventsand
and/orothersmallobjectsfrombeingthrownup
throughthedeck.
