30512or30516tooperatetheRegistrationPlateKit
Light.
1.Positionthemachineonalevelsurface,stopthe
engine,removetheignitionkeyandengagethe
parkingbrake.
CAUTION
Ifyouleavethekeyintheignitionswitch,
someonecouldaccidentlystarttheengineand
seriouslyinjureyouorotherbystanders.
Removethekeyfromtheignitionswitchbefore
youdoanymaintenance.

5.Installatreebracketontoeachoftheharnessclips
(Figure1).
6.Routethewireharnessalongthetopleftsideof
thehoodwhilepluggingthetreebracketsontothe
hoodsexistingplastictreeplugs(Figure1).
7.Drilla13mmholeinthehoodscreentoallowthe
connectoroftheregistrationplatelightwireharness
topassthroughtothelight.Theholeinthehood
screenshouldbealignedwiththewireaccessholein
therearplateassemblyafteritismounted.
8.Mounttherearplateassemblytotherearofthe
hoodwith(2)5/16x.613inchangeheadscrews
and5/16angeheadnuts(Figure1).
9.Routetheharnessthroughtheholeinthehood
screenandtherearplateassembly(Figure1).
10.Plugthewireharnessconnectorintotherearplate
lamp(Figure1).
11.Mounttheplatelighttotheregistrationplatebracket
with(2)#10x5/8inchscrewsand#10locknuts
(Figure1).Donotovertighten.Makesurethelens
pointsdownwardandthewiresareinsertedthrough
theholeintheplatemount.
12.Connecttheregistrationplatelightwireharnessto
theexistinglightkitharness.
Important:Makesurethewireharnessisclear
ofallhot,sharpormovingcomponents.
13.Checktheoperationoftheregistrationplatelight.
Theplatelightshouldilluminatewhenthelightsare
turnedONandthekeyisintheRUNposition.
