We at Tramontina are always concerned with safety, we design and
manufacture our products putting your safety first, additionally, we ask you
to be careful when using any electrical appliance and please follow the
instructions below.
Safety measures:
READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY! KEEP THIS MANUAL
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
• To prevent the asphyxiation of small children, remove and safely dispose
of all plastic packaging of product.
• Do not place the appliance near the edge of a counter or table during use.
Make sure that the surface is level and clean.
• Place the appliance at a minimum distance of 7.8 inches from walls,
curtains, fabrics, and other heat-sensitive materials.
• Always use the appliance on stable, heatproof surfaces. Do not use on
surfaces covered with fabric, near curtains or other flammable materials.
• When using the appliance, make sure the power cord is far from any heat
source, including the appliance’s own resistor.
• Before using, make sure the appliance is correctly assembled. Follow the
instructions laid out in this manual.
• When using the appliance, plug it into one single power socket.
Do not connect to a double adapter or similar device, and do not use
together with other appliances.
• Do not place cardboard, plastic, paper, or other flammable materials near
the appliance.
• The external surface of the appliance heats up during use. Use protective
equipment when placing, removing, or handling the resistor or product is hot.
Alternatively, wait for the appliance to cool before handling it.
• Before moving, disassembling, cleaning, and storing the appliance, or
when it is not in use or is left unattended, make sure the chafing dish is cool
and unplugged.
Imptant safety measures f all electrical appliances:
• Unwind the power cord completely before using.
• Do not leave the cord hanging over the edge of counters or tables. Watch
that the cord does not come into contact with hot surfaces or get tangled.
• To prevent an electric shock, do not immerse the cord, the plug, or the
resistor in water or any other liquid.
• Do not clean this appliance with a water jet.
• This appliance is not meant to be used by people (including children)
with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capacities, or without experience
or knowledge unless they are supervised or duly instructed on using the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Supervise children to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
• It is recommended that the appliance is inspected regularly. Do not use
the appliance if the cord, the plug, or the resistor present any type of damage.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
authorized agent, or qualified person to prevent hazards. Installing a residual
current device (circuit breaker) is recommended for added protection when
using electrical appliances. We advise installing a circuit breaker with a
nominal residual operational current no higher than 30 mA in the electrical
