Please read this ma ual carefully before usi g the security modules E10 a d E10C.
Security modules E10 a d E10C should be i stalled a d mai tai ed by qualified perso el, havi g specific k owledge
regardi g the fu ctio i g of GSM devices a d safety requireme ts. The device must be disco ected from exter al power
supply source before starti g device i stallatio .
Modules E10 a d E10C should be mou ted i places with restricted access a d i safe dista ce from a y se sitive electro ic
equipme t. The device is ot resista t to mecha ical effects, damp ess a d hazardous chemical e viro me t.
Liability restrictions
-Whe buyi g the Device, the Buyer agrees that the Device is a part of a security system of premises, which se ds
messages about security system status. The Device, whe i stalled, does ot dimi ish the probability of burglary, fire,
i trusio or other breach of premises.
-Whe buyi g the Device, the Buyer agrees that the Device supplied by UAB “TRIKDIS” fully meets his requireme ts for
i te ded use.
-UAB “TRIKIDIS” provides o guara tees that the Device shall fu ctio as declared if the Device is i stalled a d used ot
accordi g to its origi al purpose, user ma ual a d releva t electro ic a d tech ical co ditio s.
-UAB “TRIKDIS” is i o way associated with GSM/GPRS/I ter et service providers (operators), thus UAB “TRIKDIS” is i
o way respo sible for a y defects i Device operatio if they have occurred because of the loss of GSM/GPRS/I ter et
co ectio , or because of other defects i the service provider etwork.
-UAB “TRIKDIS” has o co trol a d is ot respo sible for the prices a d marketi g of etwork services provided by the
GSM/GPRS/I ter et service providers.
-User ma ual of the Device ca co tai tech ical i accuracies, grammatical or typographical errors. UAB “TRIKDIS”
reserves the right to correct, update a d/or cha ge i formatio i the i stallatio ma ual.

Ethernet modules E10 and E10C
Ether et modules E10 a d E10C are desig ed to tra smit messages from security co trol pa el at a secured object to a
mo itori g statio through I ter et co ectio .
The module E10 is applied for se di g of DSC, Pyronix, Caddx co trol pa els data bus sig als a d Paradox, Seco ink co trol
pa els Seria output sig als.
The module E10C is applied for se di g messages of co ected security pa el whe its PGM output state cha ges.
-Messages are tra smitted to o e IP address of mo itori g statio by TCP/IP or UDP/IP protocol;
-I case of commu icatio failure with the mai IP address, it switches tra smitti g of messages to backup IP address;
-Data tra smissio co tai s i formatio i Co tact ID codes;
-Two access levels for setti g of operati g parameters;
-Setti g of operati g parameters is impleme ted with the software Econfig while co ected via USB or I ter et
co ectio .
Description of device operation
Module E10 is compatible with co trol pa els of five ma ufacturers a d i terfaces C11, C14, C15 a d CZ6. Whe co ected
to a DSC, Caddx, Pyronix co trol pa el data bus or Paradox, SecoLink co trol pa el Seria output, or to a y of the supported
i terfaces, the module receives its messages a d tra smits them to a specified IP address or domai of the mo itori g
statio IP receiver. If a message fails to be tra smitted to the IP receiver, the module E10 will se d it to backup IP address or
domai of backup IP receiver.
Whe module E10C is co ected to PGM outputs of co trol pa el, it will se d messages about state cha gi g of exter al
circuits co ected to IN1-IN4 i puts. Messages are tra smitted to a specified IP address or domai of the mo itori g statio
IP receiver. If a message fails to be tra smitted to the IP receiver, the module E10C will se d it to backup IP address or
domai of backup IP receiver.
IP receiver of the mo itori g statio mo itors co ectio with modules E10 a d E10C by periodically receivi g PING sig als
of the modules.
The state of PGM output OUT1 of the modules E10 a d E10C ca cha ge after particular eve t occurs, for example: I ter et
co ectio is lost.
The use of interface

C14 Receives DTMF to e messages coded i Co tact ID protocol of security pa el telepho e commu icator

i terface e ables the security co trol pa el reporti g to mo itori g statio through two differe t
commu icatio cha els. This i terface e ables the use of o e cha el as mai a d the seco d o e as
backup.
C15 Receives data from data bus of BOLID C2000 alarm co trol pa el a d se ds it coded i Co tact ID protocol
to tra smitter E10.
CZ6 Expa ds tra smitter E10 i puts IN umber up to 6 EOL=2,2 kΩ type.

Module installation
Actio s Notes
1. Set the operati g parameters of module. Follow i formatio i chapter Setting of operating
parameters.
2. Faste the module i the co trol pa el metal
casi g by usi g M3x6 screws or a adhesive
faste i g tape.

The message must be received at the specified IP

Setting of operating parameters
Operati g parameters of the modules E10 a d E10C ca be set with software Econfig (v121116 or higher versio ). The
software is available for dow load o website www.trikdis.lt.
Firmware versio s of the modules has to be E10 v121018 a d E10C v121116 or higher versio s.
1. Co ect the module E10 to a computer USB port by usi g a USB cable. Computer must have the USB driver i stalled.
USB driver installation: If the module is co ected to a computer for the first time, MS Wi dows OS should ope the
wi dow Found New Hardware Wizard for i stalli g USB drivers. Dow load the USB driver file USB_COM.inf for MS
Wi dows OS from the website www.trikdis.lt. I the wizard wi dow select the fu ctio Yes, this time onl a d press
the butto Next. Whe the wi dow Please choose our search and installation options ope s, press the butto
Browse a d select the place where the file USB_COM.inf has bee saved. Follow the remai i g wizard i structio s to
fi ish the USB driver i stallatio .
2. Start the Econfig software.
3. Choose the comma d Settings i the me u bar a d select
the port to which the module is co ected i the Serial port
list. Press the butto OK.
Note: specific port will appear o ly whe the module is
co ected a d USB driver is i stalled correctly.
4. Choose the comma d Devices i the me u bar a d select E10 or E10C depe di g o which module is co ected to a
computer.
5. Press the butto Read [F7] for the operati g parameters set i the module to be read. If Access code request wi dow
ope s, e ter your perso al access code a d click its butto OK. The previously set parameters will be displayed i
co figuratio software wi dows a d i formatio about the co ected module will be displayed i its status bar.
6. Choose the directory S stem Settings a d set the followi g parameters:
Admin code Sectio for e teri g a admi istrator code (default 1234). Whe co ected usi g a Administrator
code, all module parameters ca be cha ged a d access to parameter cha ge for perso s
co ecti g with the User code ca be restricted or allowed by marki g Allow user to see and edit
fields fields.
User Code Sectio for e teri g a user code. Whe co ected by usi g a User code, o ly those module
parameters ca be cha ged, which were allowed to be cha ged by the admi istrator.
Account Number Sectio for e teri g a 4-digit module ide tificatio code.
Use internal account Select this checkbox if tra smitted messages from the security co trol pa el must co tai its
ide tificatio umber.

Panel T pe Select the security co trol pa el type, which is co ected to the module E10. If i terface C11, C14
or CZ6 is co ected to the module, select the INTERFACE C11, C14, CZ6.
Test time Periodic test messages will be se t accordi g to a time i terval set i this sectio .
Input After break of exter al circuit of i put IN, a message will be se t with a Alarm Code, a d whe
the circuit is restored – with a Restore Code.
A a d R By selecti g these checkboxes it ca be chose if messages about breachi g exter al circuits of
i puts IN (A) a d their restori g (R) should be se t.
T pe Sectio for selecti g the desirable type of exter al circuits of i puts IN. Available types NC, NO or
EOL=2.2 kΩ.
Output Output OUT1 state will be i verted after particular eve t occurs which type ca be set i the list
PGM1. Whe the optio LAN is selected the the output state will cha ge after losi g i ter et
co ectio ; whe the optio Communication trouble is selected the the output state will cha ge
after losi g co ectio with IP receiver. If there is selected the optio Pulse i the list PGM Mode,
the output state will cha ge for the time which duratio ca be specified i the sectio Pulse time.
7. Choose the directory Ethernet TCP/IP options a d set the followi g parameters for module co ecti g with the
mo itori g statio :
Internal MAC Address A u ique module physical address. It ca be cha ged by selecti g the checkbox Use Custom MAC
a d e teri g desired values to the appropriate fields.
DHCP Whe this checkbox is selected, module registratio i the etwork will be do e automatically. If
automatic registratio is u successful, e ter Internal IP address, Gatewa IP 2 address a d sub et
Mask ma ually.
Primar Port Sectio for e teri g the port umber of IP receiver at mo itori g statio . If a backup IP receiver
exists, e ter its port umber i the sectio Backup Port.
Primar IP Sectio for e teri g the IP address of the mo itori g statio IP receiver. If a backup IP address
exists, e ter its value i the sectio Backup IP.
Transport Protocol List for setti g tra sport protocol TCP/IP or UDP/IP for messages to be tra smitted.
Time Return to
Primar IP
This sectio is used whe both primary a d backup IP addresses are set. The duratio of time
should be e tered for how lo g the module will se d messages to the backup IP address whe
primary commu icatio is failed.
PING time The module se ds periodic PING sig als for I ter et co ectio to be ma aged. E ter desirable
time period a d mark the checkbox PING enable.
TCP data protocol List for setti g a e cryptio protocol for messages to be se t to the mo itori g statio .
Password Sectio for e teri g a e cryptio password for messages se t to the mo itori g statio . This
password must be ide tical to the decryptio password e tered i IP receiver.

provided by the admi istrator of the mo itori g statio .

9. Press the butto Write a d values which were e tered i fields of software Econfig will be tra sferred to the module
E10. U plug the USB cable from the USB socket.
Note: Values e tered i Econfig wi dows ca be saved i computer by pressi g the butto Save [F5]. A file with a
exte sio .tcfg will be created. It ca be used later as a template to co figure other modules.
Updating module firmware version
Whe the ma ufacturer adds ew features to the module E10 or E10C, firmware of the previously bought module ca be
updated:
1. Dow load the latest Econfig_xxx.exe file from the website www.trikdis.lt a d i stall it o a computer.
2. Co ect the module E10 or E10C to the computer with USB cable. Start the software Econfig a d select the folder
Firmware a d press the butto Browse. I a ewly ope ed wi dow select the file E10.enc a d press the butto
Open.
3. Press the butto Start FW Update. Updati g process starts by pushi g micro switch Reset (see Module overview)
o the module. After Updating process bar completely fills up push the micro switch Reset o e more time o .
4. Press the butto Read [F7]. New firmware versio will be displayed i the status bar of the software Econfig.
5. After firmware update parameters of the module are restored to default (factory) setti gs. Module parameters
must be set agai accordi g to the i structio s give i the chapter Setting of operating parameters..

Setting of operating parameters remotely
To cha ge setti gs or update firmware of the modules E10 a d E10C remotely Econfig software has to be ope ed i IPcom
software e viro me t.
1. Ope the wi dow of IPcom. Select ID umber [Object ID] of the module which will be co figured a d right-mouse click
it o .
2. Click start butto of software Econfig which appears beside the object ID.
3. After ope i g software Econfig wi dow click the butto Read o . If I ter et co ectio with the module is, the
software Eco fig will display the state Connected of this co ectio i its status bar.
4. Operatio parameters of the module E10 or E10C are co figured i the same way as the module co ected with USB
cable (see Setting of operating parameters).
5. If you choose the folder Firmware of the software Econfig you’ll be able to update the module with a ew firmware
versio . Just click o the butto Browse. Select the file E10_Remote.enc or E10C_Remote.enc a d click the butto
Open. The click the butto Start FW Update o . After Updating process bar completely fills up click the butto Read
[F7]. The firmware versio of the module will be displayed i status bar of software Econfig.
6. After e teri g desirable operati g parameters i to boxes of software Econfig click the butto Write for stori g
co figuratio i memory of the module. After closi g the software Econfig, I ter et co ectio sessio with the
module will be ca celled too.
