SPAN CALIBRATION
1. Long press Menu button until MENU is displayed.
2. Wait for display to show C.A.L, then press YES button.
3. Short press NO button to navigate until SPAN
appears on screen, then press YES button.
4. Calibration point and unit will flash on display based
on scale capacity and unit set in menu
(example: 030.000 kg.).
NOTE: If calibration point does not need to be
changed, skip to step 7.
5. To change calibration point, short press NO until
desired number appears.
NOTE: Press BACK button to decrease digit
value.
6. Short press YES button to accept number and move
to next digit. Repeat for remaining digits.
7. Press YES button to accept calibration point. It will
then flash on the display.
8. Place a calibration weight of the specified weight
on the pan and press YES button.
NOTE: If zero calibration has failed, CAL E will
be displayed for three seconds and previous
calibration data will be restored.
9. The display will show --C-- and -dONE-when
calibration is complete.
10. Display will then show LIN. Press EX IT button to exit.
LINEARITY CALIBRATION
Linearity calibration uses three calibration points. The
full calibration point is established with a weight on
the pan. The mid calibration point is established with a
weight equal to half of the full calibration weight on the
pan. The zero calibration point is established with no
weight on the pan.
NOTE: Full and mid calibration points can
be altered by users during the calibration
procedure.
1. Long press MENU button until MENU appears on
display.
2. Wait for display to show C.A.L. Press YES button.
3. Short press NO button to navigate until LIN appears
on display.
4. 0kg. and calibration unit will be flashing on display.
With no weight on the pan, press the YES button to
establish zero point. The display will then show --C--.
5. The first calibration point and unit will flash on display
based on scale capacity and unit set in menu
(e.g. 015.000 kg).
NOTE: If calibration point does not need to be
changed, skip to step 7.
6. To change calibration point, short press NO until
desired number appears.
NOTE: Press BACK button to decrease digit
value.
7. Short press YES button to accept number and move
to next digit. Repeat for remaining digits.
8. Press YES button to accept calibration point. It will
then flash on the display.
9. Place a calibration weight of the specified weight
on the pan and press YES button. The display will
show --C--.
10. The second calibration point and unit will flash on
display based on scale capacity and unit set in
menu (example: 030.000 kg.).
11. Repeat steps 6-9.
NOTE: If zero calibration has failed, CAL E will
be displayed for three seconds and previous
calibration data will be restored.
12. The display will show --C--, and -dONE-when linearity
calibration is complete.
13. Display will then show GEO. Press EXIT button to exit.
GEO CODE ADJUSTMENT
Geographical Adjustment Factor (GEO) code is used
to adjust calibration based on current location.
1. Long press MENU button until MENU appears on
display.
2. Wait for display to show C.A.L. Press YES button.
3. Short press NO button to navigate
until GEO appears on display.
Press YES button.
4. GEO point will flash on display. Short press NO button
until desired GEO number appears. Press YES button
to accept.
NOTE: Press BACK button to decrease digit.
5. Display will show C.test when
complete. Press EXIT button to exit.
