2. Programming CURRENT TIME (Time Setup)
a. Press the “SET” button once to enter into Time Setup
mode. The icon “SET TIME” will flash.
b. Press the “SET” button again to select the “SET TIME”
mode. With the initial setup, the “12” and “AM” will
flash. NOTE: When changing the Current Time
programming after the initial setup, the “12” may be
replaced by a different hour number.
c. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, advance the hour, paying
special attention to the AM and PM.
d. Press “SET” to save the hour and activate the minutes.
The “00” will flash and either the “AM” or “PM” will be
solid. NOTE: When changing the Current Time
programming after the initial setup, the “00” may be
replaced by different minute numbers.
e. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, advance the minutes.
f. Using the “DAY” button, select the current day of
the week.
g. Press the “ON/OFF” button to save settings or wait
about 10 seconds and the programmed time will be
automatically saved.
3. Programming ON/OFF EVENTS (Event Setup)
a. Press the “SET” button once to enter into Time
Setup mode. The icon “SET TIME” will flash.
b. Press the “+” button to change to the Event Setup
mode. The icon “SET PROGRAM” will flash. The
number “1” will appear in the lower left corner. By
continuing to press the “+” button, it will cycle through
all 8 potential programs. Stop on the program to be
set up.
c. Press the “SET” button to select the “SET PROGRAM”
mode for the program number chosen (1 - 8). The hour
and “AM” or “PM” will flash. With the initial setup the
hour/colon will appear as “- :” on the LCD screen.
NOTE: When changing the ON Event setting after the
initial setup, the dash representing the hour may be
replaced by an actual number.
d. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, enter the hour of the
desired ON time, paying special attention to the AM
and PM.
e. Press the “SET” button to save the hour and activate
the minutes. The minutes represented by either a “--”
or “00” and the “AM” or “PM” will be solid. NOTE:
When changing the ON Event setting after the initial
setup, the dashes or “00” representing the minutes
may be replaced by numbers.
f. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, enter the minutes of the
desired ON time.
g. Using the “DAY” button, enter the desired day(s) of
week for programming to be ON. Choose any
individual day or blocks of days including MO-FR,
SA-SU, or MO-SU.
h. Press the “SET” button to save the ON
programming. With the initial setup the hour/colon
will appear as “- :” on the LCD screen. NOTE: When
changing the OFF Event setting after the initial
setup, the dash representing the hour may be
replaced by an actual number.
i. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, enter the hour of the
desired OFF time, paying special attention to the AM
and PM.
j. Press the “SET” button to save the hour and
activate the minutes. The minutes represented by
either a “--” or “00” and the “AM” or “PM” will be
solid. NOTE: When changing the OFF Event setting
after the initial setup, the dashes or “00”
representing the minutes may be replaced by
numbers.
k. Using the “-” and “+” buttons, enter the minutes of
the desired OFF time.
l. Using the “DAY” button, enter the desired day(s) of
week for programming to be OFF. Choose any
individual day or blocks of days including MO-FR,
SA-SU, or MO-SU.
m.Press the “ON/OFF” button to save settings, or wait
about 10 seconds and the programmed Events will
be automatically saved.
n. Repeat Step 3 to program up to 8 different ON/OFF
Events.
4. REVIEWING, CHANGING and DELETING Events
a. Press the “SET” button once to enter into Time
Setup mode. The icon “SET TIME” will flash.
b. Press the “+” button to change to the Event Setup
mode. The icon “SET PROGRAM” will flash. The
number “1” will appear in the lower left corner. By
continuing to press the “+” button, it will cycle
through all 8 potential programs. Stop on the
program desired.
c. Press the “SET” button to select the “SET
PROGRAM” mode for the program number chosen
(1 - 8).
d. TO REVIEW THE EVENTS, continue to press the
“SET” button and it will cycle through the program
chosen, one setting at a time.

1. Entering SETUP MODES
NOTE: There are 2 different setup modes: Time
Setup, where the current time of day should be
entered, and Event Setup, where up to 8 ON/OFF
events are programmed to control attached devices.
The icons for these two events display as follows on
the timer LCD screen:
SET PROG will have a number 1 through 8 after it,
indicating the program being set up.
a. Press the “SET” button once to enter into setup
mode. The icon “SET TIME” will flash.
b. Press the “-” or “+” buttons to move between
“SET TIME” and “SET PROG 1 - 8”.
c. When the desired mode is flashing, press “SET”
to select.

e. TO CHANGE THE EVENTS, using the “SET” button,
locate the event setting(s) to change and then use
the instructions in Step 3d through 3m to change the
setting.
f. TO DELETE THE EVENTS, using the “SET” button,
locate either the hour “ON” or hour “OFF” setting to
delete and then use the “-“ and “+” buttons to cycle
through until the clock clears and shows “- : - -”.
NOTE: The clock clears and shows “- : - -” between
the hours of 11 PM and 12 AM.
g. To end Reviewing, Changing & Deleting of Events,
press the “ON/OFF” button and any changes will be
automatically saved or wait about 10 seconds and
changes will be automatically saved.
5. RESET Sequence
a. Press the “RESET” button for 5 seconds with the tip
of a small non-metallic insulated tool, such as a
pencil (not included). Display will flash 12:00 AM.
b. Setup timer by following “Time Setup” in Step 2 of
the instructions or Event Setup” in Step 3.

HELPFUL TIPS
• To automatically advance through the Hour and Minute
selections, press and hold the “-“ or “+” buttons.
• The “ON/OFF” button can be used as an ENTER key
when setting the Current Time or an ON/OFF Event.
When pressed at any time during setup, it will save the
current entry and return to the main screen.
• The battery icon illuminates and flashes when the
timer is operating on battery power. Restore power to
the timer to preserve all programming.
IN CASE OF POWER FAILURE
Timer will continue to operate on battery backup if the
power goes out; however, it will not turn attached devices
on or off. Once power is restored, programming will
resume. If power remains out longer than the battery
backup will operate, re-program the timer as explained in
Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the “Programming Instructions”.
NOTE: Battery is permanently installed and not
replaceable. It automatically recharges when power is
provided to the timer.

defects for a period of one year from the original date of
purchase (“warranty period”). This warranty is limited to the
repair or replacement of this product only and Prime is not

products that may be used with this unit. This warranty is
effective only if such unit is returned to Prime not later than
thirty (30) days after the expiration of the warranty period.
Warranty is void if damage is due to neglect, misuse,
alteration, modification, improper installation, or repair by
other than Prime. This warranty is in lieu of all other
warranties express or implied. Some states do not allow
limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or permit

to a manufacturing defect in materials or workmanship, will

2. One-Touch “RANDOM”
Security Setting
Locate the Random icon
underneath the minus (-) and
plus (+) buttons. Press the “-”
and “+” buttons at the same
time to enter or exit the Random
Security Setting. When this
setting is activated, the icon “ ” will appear.
NOTE: This function requires at least one event to be
set up as described in Step 3 of the instructions. The
event must be set for a minimum of 2hrs., 10min.

1. Ingreso a los MODOS DE CONFIGURACIÓN

1. ANULACIÓN DE ENCENDIDO/
APAGADO manual
Presione el botón “ON/OFF”
para omitir la configuración
actual y ENCENDER o
APAGAR temporalmente sus
dispositivos. La configuraciones

CONSEJOS PRÁCTICOS
• Para avanzar automáticamente a través de las

EN CASO DE UN APAGÓN
El temporizador continuará funcionando con la batería de
respaldo si hay un corte de energía; sin embargo, no encenderá
ni apagará los dispositivos conectados. Una vez restablecida la
alimentación, continuará la programación. Si la alimentación
permanece cortada por más tiempo que el de funcionamiento
de la batería, vuelva a programar el temporizador como se
explica en los Pasos 1, 2 y 3 de las “Instrucciones de
programación”. NOTA: La batería está instalada de manera
permanente y no es reemplazable. Se recarga
automáticamente cuando el temporizador recibe alimentación.

Prime garantiza que este producto no presentará defectos de
fabricación por un período de un año a partir de la fecha de compra
original ("período de garantía"). Esta garantía se limita a la reparación o

4. REVISIÓN, CAMBIO y ELIMINACIÓN de eventos
a. Presione el botón “SET” (configurar) una vez para
ingresar en el modo de configuración de hora. El ícono
“SET TIME” destellará.
b. Presione el botón “+” para cambiar al modo de
configuración de eventos. El ícono “SET PROGRAM”
destellará. El número “1” aparecerá en la parte inferior
izquierda
derecha. Si continúa presionando el botón
“+”, este recorrerá los 8 programas posibles.
Deténgase en el programa deseado.
c. Presione el botón “SET” para seleccionar el modo
“SET PROGRAM” para el número de programa elegido
(1 a 8).
d. PARA REVISAR LOS EVENTOS, continúe
presionando el botón "SET" y este recorrerá el
programa escogido, una configuración a la vez.
e. PARA CAMBIAR LOS EVENTOS, usando el botón
“SET”, ubique las configuraciones de eventos que
desee cambiar y luego siga las instrucciones del Paso
3d a 3m para cambiar la configuración.
f. PARA ELIMINAR LOS EVENTOS, usando el botón
“SET”, ubique las configuraciones de hora de
ENCENDIDO u hora de APAGADO para borrarlas y
luego use los botones “+” y “-” para recorrer los
programas hasta que el reloj se reinicie y muestre
“- : - -”. NOTA: El reloj se reinicia y muestra “- : - -”
entre las 11 PM y las 12 AM.
g. Para finalizar la Revisión, cambio y eliminación de
eventos, presione el botón “ON/OFF” y todos los
cambios se guardarán automáticamente, o espere
alrededor de 10 segundos y los cambios se guardarán
automáticamente.
5. Secuencia de REINICIO
a. Presione el botón “RESET” (reiniciar) durante 5
segundos con la punta de una herramienta pequeña
aislada no metálica, como un lápiz (no se incluye). La
pantalla destellará 12:00 AM.
b. Configure el temporizador siguiendo la “Configuración
de hora” del Paso 2 de las instrucciones o
“Configuración de eventos” del Paso 3.
