Conditions for structural verification:
■Max. snow loads up to 2.55 kN/m2
■ Wind speeds up to 150 km/h
■ Max. rafter centres 800 mm.
■ Screws 8 x 120 Assy Plus VG with
DIBT approval for threaded width in
rafters of 60 mm.
■ Timber 40 x 120 mm; use two screws
per rafter.

All the timbers are 3000 mm long.
■ Single row installation:
Two timbers of each 1 and 3 per
collector
■ Double row installation:
Double the relevant number.
Required roof area
■ To prevent any damage to the ridge
cover, allow sufficient clearance on the
ridge side; at least 3 rows for pantiled
roofs.
Note
In the case of pantiled roofs, we also
recommend keeping a width of at least
3 pantiles at the bargeboard.
■ If necessary, install a snow guard.
■ Provide a roof hatch near the collec-
tors for inspection and maintenance.
■ Take additional measures on site to
protect against water penetrating from
snow and wind pressure, e.g. sarking
membranes.

requirements (see page 6).

installation".
3. Fit lower timbers 40 x 120 mm (see
page 20).
4. Mark right angle (see page 22).
5. Fit upper timbers 40 x 120 mm (see
page 24).
6. Fit drain panels and lead flashing
(see page 27).
7. Fit the l.h. side connection panels
(see page 31).
8. Fit the l.h. side panels (see
page 33).
9. Fit the centre panels (see
page 35).
10. Fit the r.h. side panels and side con-

Observe prior to installation
Repair panel applications
The repair panel is contained in the "Side
sections" packaging unit.
Application area:
■ As a spacer between the collectors
(see diagram on page 48).
■To seal incorrectly drilled holes H in
the panels.

In order that the hydraulic lines
can be safely routed through the
roof, ensure
that there is no rafter below this
side panel.
These side panels vary depending on
the version of hydraulic connections to
be used (can be left bottom/top, or right
bottom/top).

■ Provisionally position the lower tim-
bers 40 x 120 mm parallel to the lower
row of tiles (use a mason's line).
It is essential to adhere to dimension
a in the diagrams from page 13.
■ Secure the timbers as shown in the
following diagrams.
Note
It may be necessary to remove exist-
ing battens from around the timbers.
Support the dividing point between the
batten and the timber.
■ It is essential to secure timbers along
the entire length with two screws for
every rafter.
■
!Please note
Ensure that the joining points
between two timbers
always rest on a rafter (see dia-
grams on page 21).

Pantile, slate and barrel roof tiles
■ Ensure that the roof tiles butt onto the
l.h. and r.h. side panel.
■ Should it become necessary to trim the
pantiles, arrange dimension f so that
the pantiles will be trimmed in front of
the corrugation.
