Sehr geehrte Kundin, sehr geehrter Kunde
Vielen Dank für den Kauf des DV-5370 /-SS (Früher 790HPNMLF)
Diese Bedienungsanleitung dient der einfachen und sicheren Bedienung des Ventils.
Bitte lesen Sie diese Anleitung vor Inbetriebnahme aufmerksam durch und beachten
Sie auch die angeführten Sicherheitshinweise.

Das Ventil ist für den gewerblichen Gebrauch konzipiert und konstruiert. Es dient nur
zum Dosieren von flüssigen Materialen wie Klebstoff, Paste, Fett, Öl, Silikon und ähnli-
chen. Jede andere Verwendung gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäß. Wird dieses Gerät für
andere Zwecke eingesetzt, kann es zu Personen- oder Sachschäden kommen.
Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für Folgen aus nicht bestimmungsgemäßer
Verwendung.
Zu nicht bestimmungsgemäßer Verwendung zählen:
• Änderungen am Gerät und seinen Komponenten, die nicht ausdrücklich in der
Bedienungsanleitung empfohlen werden
• Einsatz nicht kompatibler, oder beschädigter Ersatzteile
• Verwendung von nicht zugelassenem Zubehör oder Hilfsgeräten
• Überschreiten der zugelassenen und empfohlenen Druckwerte
Das Dosierventil ist konzipiert um mit einer großen Druchflußrate mittelviskose bis
hochviskose Produkte genau zu dosieren.
Trotz der hohen Durchflußrate kann das Ventil durch die kompakte Bauweise in
automatischen Linien und unter beengten baulichen Bedingungen eingesetzt werden.
Es besteht aus 3 Grundkörpern. Zylinder, Zylinderdeckel und Materialkörper.
In Ruhestellung ist das Ventil geschlossen. Der Ventilkolben ist so ausgelegt, daß er beim
Schließen einen Materialrückzug erzeugt. Der Materialeingangsdruck hat keinen Einfluß
auf die Funktionsweise des Ventils.
Geschlossen wird das Ventil über Federkraft. Optional kann es aber auch zusätzlich über
Hilfsluft geschlossen werden.

Wird dieses Gerät für andere Zwecke eingesetzt, als in
dieser Bedienungsanleitung beschrieben, kann es zu
Personen- oder Sachschäden kommen.
Setzen Sie das Gerät nur gemäß der Anleitung ein.
Vor Gebrauch die Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig lesen.
Tragen Sie immer die geeignete Schutzkleidung und
Augenschutz.
Rauchen oder offenes Feuer sind bei der Dosierung
brennbarer Medien untersagt.
Dieses Gerät ist nur für den Gebrauch in geschlossenen
Räumen vorgesehen.
Einzelheiten hinsichtlich der ordnungsgemäßen Hand-
habung und Sicherheitsvorkehrungen finden Sie im
Sicherheitsdatenblatt des verwendeten Dosier-
materials.

Maximal 170 bar!
1. Montieren Sie das Ventil auf die gewünschte Halterung
2. Schließen Sie die Materialleitung an (1/4“ NPT Materialeinlaß). Das Ventil kann in
90° Schritten gedreht werden.
3. Schließen Sie die Steuerluft oben am Ventil an (1/4“ NPT Anschluß).
Zum Öffnen des Ventils werden min. 3,5 bar benötigt.
4. Geben Sie Druck auf die Materialleitung
Beim Schließen des Ventils wird das Material in die
Dosiernadel zurück gezogen.
5. Öffnen Sie das Ventil mit Ihrer Steuerung, bis die Materialleitung keine Luft mehr
enthält. Es kann hilfreich sein dazu das Ventil mit dem Auslaß nach oben zu halten.
6. Schrauben sie eine Dosiernadel auf. Evtl. verwenden Sie hierzu auch einen
Luer-Lock Adapter, um kleine Dosiernadeln anschließen zu können.
Die Schußgröße und die Raupenbreite hängt von folgenden Faktoren ab:
• Ansteuerzeit des Ventils
• Materialdruck
• Materialviskosität
• Durchmesser und Typ der Dosiernadel

1. Spülen Sie das Ventil zuerst mit Reinigungsflüssigkeit durch und trennen Sie
die Materialleitung ab
2. Stecken Sie die Steuerluft und ggf. die Hilfsluft ab.
3. Schrauben Sie die Endkappe (14) ab
4. Schieben Sie den Ventilkolben heraus (8+10)
5. Schrauben Sie die 4 Halteschrauben heraus (1)
6. Nehmen Sie die Materialauslaßblock (2), Materialeinlaßblock (5) und Zylinder (6)
auseinander.
7. Nehmen Sie die Dichtungen (4) und den O-Ring (3) heraus. Merken Sie sich die
Einbaulage der Dichtung.
1. Setzen Sie den O-Ring (3) in den Materialauslaßblock (2) und den Zylinder (6) ein
2. Setzen Sie die Dichtungen (4) in den Materialauslaßblock (2) und den Zylinder
ein (6)
3. Setzen Sie den Materialauslaßblock (2), Materialeinlaßblock (5) und den Zylinder (6)
wieder zusammen.
4. Schrauben Sie mit den Schrauben (1) wieder alles zusammen.
5. Setzen Sie den O-Ring (9) auf den Ventilkolben (8) ein
6. Setzen Sie die Dichtung (11) auf den Kolben (10)
7. Schrauben Sie (wenn vorher zerlegt) die Kolbenstange (8) wieder auf den
Kolben (10) auf. Beachten Sie dabei die richtige Lage des Kolbens (10) !
8. Setzen Sie die Feder (7) in die Zylinder (6) ein.
9. Montieren Sie den Ventilkolben wieder in den Ventilkörper
10. Setzen Sie den O-Ring (13) in die Endkappe (14)
11. Schrauben Sie die Endkappe (14) auf den Zylinder (6) auf
Die Dichtungen müssen genauso eingebaut werden,
wie die alten entnommen wurden!

Problem Möglichkeiten
Kein Materialfluß Materialdruck ist zu niedrig. - Erhöhen Sie den Materialdruck

Material hat sich im Ventilsitz abgelagert. - Ventil reinigen

Entsorgen Sie das Produkt am Ende seiner Lebensdauer gemäß den geltenden
gesetzlichen Bestimmungen.
Elektrotechnische Teile dürfen nicht über den Hausmüll entsorgt werden.
Nach Richtlinie 2012/19/EU über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE)
sind diese an den dafür eingerichteten Sammelstellen abzugeben um
einer Wiederverwendung zugeführt zu werden.

The device is designed and constructed for commercial use. It is only to be used for
dispensing liquid and paste materials such as adhesives, lubricants, various pastes, grease,
oil, silicone and other similar materials. Any other use is considered improper. If this device
is used for other purposes, personal injury or damage to property may result.
The manufacturer assumes no responsibility for consequences resulting from improper
use of the unit.
Non-intended use, which would also void the warranty, includes:
• Changes to the device not expressly recommended in the operating instructions
• Modifications to the unit and its components
• Use of incompatible or damaged spare parts
• Use of non-approved accessories or auxiliary equipment
• Exceeding the approved and recommended pressures
The dosing valve is designed to precisely dose medium-viscosity to high-viscosity
products with a large flow rate.
Despite the high flow rate, the valve can be installed in automatic lines and in cramped
structural conditions.
It consists of 3 basic bodies. Cylinder, cylinder head and material body.
In the rest position, the valve is closed. The valve piston is designed in such a way that
it produces a retraction of material when it closes. The material inlet pressure has no
influence on the function of the valve.
The valve is closed by spring force. Optionally, however, it can also be closed using
auxiliary air.

NOTICE
When the valve closes, the material is drawn back into
the dispensing needle.
5. Open the valve with your controller until the fluid line runs out of air contains.
It may be helpful to hold the valve with the outlet pointing up.
6. Screw on a dispensing needle. You may also use one for this Luer lock adapter
to connect small dispensing needles.
Weft size and bead width depends on the following factors:
• Activation time of the valve
• Material pressure
• Material viscosity
• Dispensing tip diameter and type
NOTICE
Maximal material pressure - 170 bar!
1. Mount the valve on the desired bracket
2. Connect the fluid line (1/4“ NPT fluid inlet). The valve can be rotated in 90° steps.
3. Connect the control air to the top of the valve (1/4“ NPT connection).
A minimum of 3.5 bar is required to open the valve.

1. Install o-ring (3) into fluid outlet block (2) and barrel (6).
2. Install the gaskets (4) into the fluid outlet block (2) and cylinder one (6)
3. Place the fluid outlet block (2), fluid inlet block (5) and cylinder (6) together again.
4. Screw everything back together with the screws (1).
5. Put the O-ring (9) on the valve piston (8).
6. Put the seal (11) on the piston (10)
7. Screw (if previously dismantled) the piston rod (8) back onto the Piston (10) up.
Pay attention to the correct position of the piston (10)!
8. Insert the spring (7) into the cylinders (6).
9. Reassemble the valve piston into the valve body
10. Place the o-ring (13) in the end cap (14)
11. Screw the end cap (14) onto the cylinder (6).
The seals must be installed in exactly the same way as
the old ones were removed!
NOTICE
1. Flush the valve with cleaning fluid first and disconnect the material line off
2. Disconnect the control air and, if necessary, the auxiliary air.
3. Unscrew the end cap (14).
4. Slide out the valve piston (8+10)
5. Unscrew the 4 retaining screws (1)
6. Take out the fluid outlet block (2), fluid inlet block (5) and cylinder (6) apart.
7. Take out the seals (4) and the O-ring (3). Remember those Installation position of
the seal.

Problem Possible solution
No material flow Material pressure is too low. - Increase material pressure
Operating pressure is too low. - Raise.
Material has built up in the valve seat. - Clean the valve
Material flow not constant Operating pressure fluctuates
Material pressure fluctuates
There is air in the valve. - Valve must be vented
Dispensing time is too short for valve activation. - Increase
dispensing time.
Material continues to flow even
though the valve is closed. It
may stop flowing after a while
Air is in the valve. - Valve must be vented
