Read and follow all instructions, warnings and notes in this manual before attempting to
operate your power wheelchair for the first time. If any part of the text is not clear or if
you need any further information, please, contact your dealer.
RIDER II is a power wheelchair designed according to the latest trends and technology.
The power wheelchair you have purchased combines state-of-the-art components with
safety, comfort and styling in mind guaranteeing maximum comfort of use.
In order to ensure smooth operation and safety the power wheelchair should be regularly
checked (at least once a year) at a service point.
Should you have any doubts or in case of damage of the power wheelchair, contact your
service centre, which has all the skills to solve your problem.
Please, make sure that you filled in the guarantee form and that you returned it to your
dealer. It will help to ensure the best service.
FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS MAY DAMAGE THE
EQUIPMENT OR CAUSE SERIOUS INJURY.
The manufacturer and the distributor are not liable for any damage to property or
persons resulting from the use of power wheelchair contrary to the safety standards
specified in the manual.

Practical advice relating to the use of the power wheelchair.
Before you start to freely use the power wheelchair find an open area where you
can practice all the manoeuvres and where you can get acquainted with the
operating system of the power wheelchair.
It is best to use the assistance of another person who will aid and assist you till you
gain total confidence and freed of movement when driving the power wheelchair.
Before you get in always make sure that the vehicle is set off and that the speed
setting is set on the value chosen according to your experience and skills.
When using the power wheelchair for the first time set the speed to the minimum
value so as to safely practice the operation and to get acquainted with its
possibilities.
In order to drive safely, make sure that you are familiar with
vehicle characteristics and ways of driving.
First, practice moving forward. Make sure that the speed is set
on the slowest position.
When you master moving forward in a straight line,
practice “S” turns.
Finally, practice driving
backwards.

Please, mark that while driving backwards the vehicle always moves slower
regardless of the speed setting.

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)
The power wheelchair may be susceptible to electronic interference (EMI) which is
interfering electromagnetic energy emitted from sources such as radio stations, TV
stations, amateur radio transmitters (HAM), two-way radios and mobile phones. The
interference (from radio wave source) can cause the power wheelchair to release its
brakes, move by itself or move in unintended directions. It can also permanently damage
