SPECIFICATIONS:
Direct steam, stainless steel, 2/3jacketed floor mounted steam
kettle, Vulcan-Hart Model No. ___________. Fully welded
hemispheric bottom kettle with type 304 stainless steel
jacket and lining (316 stainless steel liner, 20 & 40 gallon).
Jacket tested to 35 psi (2.4 kg/cm2). Counterbalanced hinged
stainless steel cover with drop down lift handle (60 - 100 gallon
spring assist). 2" compression tangent draw-off valve with
perforated strainer. Tubular stainless steel legs with flanged
feet. Operates with 5 psi (0.4 kg/cm2) through 35 psi
(2.4 kg/cm2) direct steam. Steam control assembly includes
nickel plated steam supply control valve, nickel plated
condensate return line strainer and steam trap.
NSF listed. Meets ASME code.

SERVICE CONNECTIONS:
Steam supply: 3/4" IPS (19 mm).
Condensate return: 1/2" IPS (13 mm).
NOTE:
•Dimensions which locate the above connections have a toler-
ance of + or -3" (+ or -77 mm).
•Installation of backflow preventers, vacuum breakers and
other specific code requirements is the responsibility of the
owner and installer. It is the responsibility of the owner and
installer to comply with local codes.
•This appliance is manufactured for commercial installation
only and is not intended for home use.
DIRECT STEAM DATA:
Steam supply to the kettles must:
1. Maintain a steady 13 psi flow under operating conditions.
2. Have a minimum flow (see chart) of dry steam.
3. Be adequately trapped to provide dry steam. (See ball float
trap.)
