Diese Bedienungsanleitung gehört zu diesem Produkt. Sie
enthält wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme und Handhabung.
Bitte legen Sie die Bedienungsanleitung dem Produkt bei, wenn
Sie es an Dritte weitergeben!
Lassen Sie Verpackungsmaterial nicht achtlos herumliegen.
Plastiktüten etc. können zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug für
Kinder werden.
Bei diesem Artikel handelt es sich um einen Dekorationsgegen-
stand. Er ist nicht zur Raumbeleuchtung im Haushalt geeignet.
Der Artikel ist kein Spielzeug. Halten Sie den Artikel von Kindern
fern.
Der Artikel kann im Innenbereich und im Außenbereich verwen-
det werden.
Betreiben Sie den Artikel nicht in der Nähe von Gas, elektrischen
Heizungen, offenem Feuer, Kerzen oder anderen Wärmequellen.
Defekte Kabel und LEDs können nicht ersetzt werden.
Betreiben Sie den Artikel nicht in der Verpackung.
Vermeiden Sie eine starke mechanische Beanspruchung des
Solarmoduls. Es muss wie ein Produkt aus Glas behandelt wer-
den.
Verlegen Sie die Lichterkette so, dass sie nicht zur Stolperfalle
wird. Achten Sie darauf, dass das Kabel nicht eingeknickt ist.
Benutzen Sie die Lichterkette nicht, falls das Kabel beschädigt
sein sollte. Klemmen Sie das Kabel nicht ein und spannen Sie es
nicht übermäßig.
Schauen Sie nicht direkt in die LEDs und richten Sie den Licht-
strahl der LEDs nicht direkt gegen die Augen von Menschen oder
Tieren.
Beachten Sie bitte zur Vermeidung von Fehlfunktionen,
Schäden und gesundheitlichen Beeinträchtigungen
folgende Hinweise:

Akkus dürfen nicht geladen, nicht auseinander genommen, ins
Feuer geworfen oder kurzgeschlossen werden.
Betreiben Sie die Lichterkette ausschließlich mit NiMH-Akkus
1,2 V mit mindestens 600 mAh der Größe HR6 (AA).
Reinigen Sie den Artikel nur mit einem leicht befeuchteten Tuch.
Benutzen Sie keine aggressiven Chemikalien oder Scheuermittel
zur Reinigung.
Zerlegen Sie den Artikel nicht und unternehmen Sie keine
Reparaturversuche. Er enthält keine durch Sie zu reparierenden
Teile. Wenden Sie sich bei Fragen oder Problemen an unseren
Kundenservice.
Akkus gehören nicht in den Haus-
müll.
Sie können sie kostenlos an uns zurück-
senden oder bei örtlichen Geschäften
oder Batteriesammelstellen abgeben.

Benutzung
Die Solar-Lichterkette kann das ganze Jahr über verwendet werden
und ist sowohl für den Innen- als auch für den Außenbereich
geeignet. Die Lichterkette beleuchtet, nur durch reine Sonnenener-
gie, Garten, Terrasse, Wege u. v. m. im Dunkeln.
Montage
1. Stecken Sie den Erdspieß in den Boden. Suchen Sie eine
geeignete Stelle mit direkter Sonneneinstrahlung. Richten Sie
das Solarmodul nach Süden aus. Direkte Sonneneinstrahlung
von mindestens 8 Stunden pro Tag ist ideal, damit die eingebau-
ten Akkus voll aufgeladen werden können.
2. Zum Verstellen der Position des Solarmoduls lösen Sie erst die
Flügelschraube und verstellen Sie das Solarmodul entspre-
chend. Ziehen Sie die Flügelschraube danach fest.
3. Achten Sie beim Verlegen des Kabels darauf, dass das Kabel
nicht zur Stolperfalle für Personen oder Tiere wird, damit sie sich
nicht verletzen oder das Kabel herausreißen.
4. Drücken Sie den Druckknopf (ON/OFF) auf der Rückseite des
Solarmoduls in die Position ON, um die Lichterkette einzuschal-
ten. Bei Dunkelheit beginnt die Lichterkette zu dimmen.
Hinweise
Fremdbeleuchtung wie Straßenlaternen, Autoscheinwerfer oder
Hausnummernbeleuchtungen können die Leuchte vorüber-
gehend ausschalten.
Bei Verwendung im Innenbereich achten Sie darauf, dass das
Solarmodul tagsüber genügend Sonnenlicht bekommt.
Durch die LED-Technologie ist ein Auswechseln der Leuchtmittel
nicht erforderlich. Sollte die Lichterkette nach mehreren Sonnen-
tagen nicht leuchten, ersetzen Sie die Akkus durch neue glei-
chen Typs.
Die eingebauten Akkus werden nicht geladen, wenn der
Druckknopf in der Position OFF steht.

Benutzung
Wechseln der Akkus
1. Zum Wechseln der Akkus schrauben Sie
die Abdeckung auf der Rückseite auf und
kippen Sie die Abdeckung zu Seite. Ach-
ten Sie darauf das Kabel nicht zu be-
schädigen oder abzureißen.
2. Setzen Sie die neuen Akkus polungsrich-
tig in das Batteriefach ein, wie auf dem
Bild rechts abgebildet.

Do not expose the solar module to strong mechanical stress. It
must be handled as a glass product.
Make sure the light chain cannot become a tripping hazard. Do
not bend the cable. Do not use the solar light chain if the cable is
damaged. Do not clamp the cable and do not overstretch it.
Do not directly stare into the LEDs and do not direct the light
beam of the LEDs towards people or animals.
Do not disassemble, burn, or short-circuit batteries and do not
attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
Please use only a NiMH rechargeable battery 1.2 V with a
capacity of at least 600 mAh of the size HR6 (AA).

Clean the unit only with a lightly moistened cloth. Do not use
aggressive chemicals or abrasives for cleaning.
Do not disassemble the article and do not attempt to repair it
yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you. In case of
questions or problems, please turn to our customer service.
Rechargeable Batteries do not be-
long in household garbage.
For battery disposal, please check with
your local council.
Safety Notes

Using

You can use the solar garden light all over the year. The garden
light is perfect for indoor and outdoor use. Only with sun energy the
solar garden light will light up your garden, patio, paths etc. at night.
Mounting
1. Stick the stake into the ground. Place the top part of the light on
the stake. Find a suitable place with direct sunlight. Position the
solar module southwards. Make sure that direct sunlight shines
on the solar module for at least 8 hours a day in order to charge
the built-in battery completely.
2. To re-position the solar module loosen the wing screw first and
adjust the solar module accordingly. Re-tighten the wing screw.
3. Running the cable, make sure that the cable does not become a
trip hazard for persons or animals. They could hurt themselves
or rip the cable out of its place.
4. Switch on the solar module by pressing the push button
(ON/OFF) at the rear side in the position ON. The solar module
starts charging the battery and dims the solar garden light at
nightfall.
Notes
Foreign light sources such as street lamps, automobile head-
lights or illuminated address lights may temporarily switch off the
garden light.
When using the solar garden light indoors, make sure the solar
module is placed to direct sunlight during the day.
Due to the LED technology you do not need to change the
illuminant of the solar garden light.
If the solar light chain does not light up after several sunny days,
replace the batteries with batteries of the same type.
The built-in batteries will still not be charged, if the push button
is in the position OFF.

Using

Replacing Batteries
1. For changing the batteries unscrew the
cover from the rear side and carefully tilt
it. Make sure not to damage or to tear of
the cable.
2. Place new batteries of the same type into
the battery compartment, observing cor-
rect polarity, as shown in the picture on
the right.

sonnes ou des animaux.
Les piles ne doivent pas être rechargées, démontées, jetées au
feu ou misées sous court-circuit.
Utilisez la guirlande de lumières uniquement avec des batteries
NiMH 1,2 V avec une taille minimale de 600 mAh HR6 (AA).
Nettoyez le produit avec un chiffon légèrement humide. N'utilisez
pas de produits chimiques ou abrasifs.
